Was this Prophetic Vision from yesterday morning one warning of the Earthquake in Haiti?

I don't know, but when I heard about the devastation in the streets of Haiti my mind went to the images I saw in the spirit early yesterday morning.  It is a picture of what happened and is happening.

""When the housing market goes down further, when commercial real estate collapses, when stock markets collapse, when currency is devalued to ten percent of it's former value, when people no longer have any hope for work and all unemployment ceases, when cities and states file for bankruptcy and people are left stranded, when the federal government that is now in practicality bankrupt declares itself, when money stops, when credit becomes impossible and people are on the streets begging, then the harvest fields will fall quickly fully ripe before the harvester to begin to worship the living and true God"".

Now a day later as I reflect on what that part of the word said, perhaps the real question is this, is the REST of the word a warning to the Church?

""There will be faithful Holy Ghost led people and groups who will be there to walk as point in this great harvest. It will contain fewer of those we all thought would lead the way to reap. They will be gone. Insolvent. Collapsed. Discredited. Neutralized by the Enemy.

The word of the Lord for ministries and churches is IF you can no longer do what you did in the past because the money isn't there and it doesn't look like it's coming in, then do what matters. Stop doing what doesn't. This will mean that men and women of God may struggle to feed their families. That doesn't mean God has abandon them. It is a time of preparation. A time to lay a foundation for the harvest to come. A time to declare victory.

Many in South America went thru this a decade ago. The churches exploded. New people hungry for God came in. Many churches in the middle of this collapsed and closed. But those who did the main thing emerged with hundreds of thousands of new souls for the Kingdom to lay at his feet.""

I don't know for sure, but the urgency of the message, the dramatic picture looks a great deal like the situation right now on the streets of Haiti.  And, notice how MANY times the word COLLAPSE is used in all kinds of contexts.  Things Collapsed in Haiti.

I don't think for a moment this is accidental.

Read once more the word given yesterday, consider the Haitian situation and ask, was that warning about the Earthquake or is the earthquake a test run for what is to come.  I think this is for the church an important warning shot across the Bow.

If this is important, why don’t you say what you saw, rather than covering it in conditional statements. In your presentation, the vision the Spirit gave you is lost among your views on its implications.

You could present the fourth paragraph as follows.

I saw the housing market go down further, I saw commercial real estate collapse, I saw stock markets collapse, I saw the currency devalued to ten percent of it's former value, I saw people no longer have any hope for work and all unemployment ceases, I saw cities and states file for bankruptcy and people left stranded, I saw the federal government that is now in practicality bankrupt declares itself, I saw money stop, I saw credit becomes impossible and people are on the streets begging. When these things happen, the harvest fields will fall quickly fully ripe before the harvester to begin to worship the living and true God.

Your correction is proper Ron. I may not be as good a prophet as I wish I were. I know I am one, i know I see things, I know they are real, I know many other prophets judge them to be of God.

I perhaps could have used better verbiage. It won't come as a surprise that I write pretty much from a stream of Consciousness. Except for a spell check I don't do much editing. I should. I know you are very careful. I respect your writing ability and in fact posted the article on caring for the poor on my Facebook profile the other day. Before the earthquake.

So, I will try harder to be more clear...but I admit that I do see thru a glass pretty darkly. Probably will until I get to the other side of the veil.

Thanks Gene. The verbiage is not a big deal.

I just wanted to get a clearer understanding of what you had seen. (I prefer to know what the prophet has seen, not what he thinks it means).

Were these things all that you saw, or is there more? I presume that you did not get any sense of the timing?
