Who's Responsiblity is it for Prophetic Clarity, The Hearer or the Prophet?

A prophet was in the land, those who heard him sometimes heard what they wanted. One day, those that traveled with him asked the Prophet, Why do you speak in such obscure oblique ways. Using images and stories. He told them that the words he used were so that those with spiritual ears could hear and those without would not understand. That question is still being asked today. Why, Mr Prophet don't you speak more clearly? Well, if I am saying what God says I guess He is just being TRUE TO HIS PATTERN.

When I read and study much of the prophetic words in the Old Testament I see the same thing. To the one who has discernment, it has meaning. To those without, it is not understood. It's all types and shadows. It still is. It's a mosaic. We comprehend God's heart but only a passing by the cleft of the rock of his wisdom.

I think of the image in the Book of Daniel. People are still debating over that almost 3000 years later. We have a lot of Nebuchadnezzars who do not understand and want clarity. Even with it, it's still confusing.

I look at Chapter 13 of Isaiah. Is that about then, later or now? Is a Kurd (Mead) going to once again rule over Babylon (Iraq)?

Even when Jesus taught the Beatitudes they have been badly interpreted and misunderstood. Blessed be the POOR? I don't think so.

So the issue is, how direct, Chrystal clear and obvious does a prophet have to be? On whom does the responsibility for understanding prophecy depend. On the prophet or on the hearer?

What role does the Holy Spirit have in making Revelation by the Prophetic clear? Any, Much?

I know I will offend some people, but those who insist on absolute clarity from the prophetic, Old Testament, the Book of Revelation, or some prophet who walks the earth today are demonstrating a lack of discernment and a stupor of the Spirit of God in them. I suggest they do what all of us are to do. Take the prophetic word, hear it, judge to see that it sounds like Jesus and then, allow the Spirit of God to quicken what is important to you right then. I seldom write down prophetic words I have heard or received. They are so important I just don't forget them. The Holy Spirit brings them back to remembrance as I need them.

I will read them if they are published. Same thing. I don't have to do a "Bible Study". I allow the Holy Ghost to teach me what is important.

A week ago tonight I was at a meeting in Rochelle IL where Stephen Strader spoke. At the end, Pastor Horvat laid hands on me and prophesied over me and Peggy for perhaps ten minutes. Much was tongues. Much was random. But as time passed (I'm patient) pieces started to come together. He started speaking of my future, my past, my life, my work, my ministry. I promise he had no idea what he was saying.

I walked away understanding that the Spirit of God had spoken. It wasn't perfect. It wasn't complete. But it was edifying and worthwhile.

I think those who require a footnoted prophetic utterance lack faith in God to reveal himself to them. As I have heard it expressed, they have more faith in the devil to deceive them than they do faith in God to reveal himself to them. How about just receive the prophecy and let it go at that. God will give you the understanding. At least that's what he promised.
John 16:12-15
12 "I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14 He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
I have come to appreciate and understand the profound harmony of the prophetic on the earth today. Sure there are crackpots. But you can hear them in the Spirit, you can see them for what they are. Crank your discerner UP.

I wouldn't worry about them. If you have ears to hear, HEAR what the Spirit of the Lord Says.

Kim Clement Last Night in St Charles

Kim Clement, a renowned prophet of God was in St Charles last night. I was there.

I know many came to hear what he would have to say about the US Economy. Many have misunderstood what he says. I know that many have read things into his prophetic utterances that causes them to mis-quote him.

Well, I get Kim Clement. He's a true prophet. He's an encourager. He is a builder of faith and an imparter of HOPE. But, you must be careful NOT to read into what he says, what you want to hear. Reading between the lines, listening carefully, having a God mindset will help anyone wanting to receive from his ministry.

Here's the reality. I have studied things David Wilkerson says, John Paul Jackson, Chuck Pierce and weighed them with Kim Clement. We are to do exactly that.

They do NOT contradict one another. In fact they support one another. What might even be more weird is Kim most likely doesn't understand fully what he says. He might be the least qualified to give explanation.

As a prophet often I bring a word and can't tell you what it means exactly until it manifests. There, that was it. I suspect most of the old testament prophets were the same. They saw in shadows, types and forms but not in detail. Shadows don't have much detail.

SO, I will at some point condense and post what I heard. What I heard last night was encouraging and faith building. That's a good place to start for the future.

Today is the tomorrow you and I believed for Yesterday.

The Cry of Mourning in the Earth

What is happening all around the globe in economic distress is a mourning. A mourning over political leadership that has lost it's way over the last decade and is accelerating in America. A mourning over church leadership that has left the core of it's truth. A mourning over families and culture that has been destroyed by the devil's influence.

Mourning will eventually break into joy, but not until morning. It's still night. It's going to be a long long night. But, keep your eye out for the SUN of Righteousness.

When HE comes he will outshine everything.

Money, Markets and Mentality

I heard the Lord say that there is illusion, delusion and deception regarding the financial world.

People have come to the conclusion that money is life. That is the ultimate deceitfulness in Riches.

Money is not life. Life is only in Jesus. You will take NOTHING with you when you die. Only Jesus.

And others.

That is the truth and money is an illusions sleight of hand trick trying to divert your attention from what you should be paying attention.

John Paul Jackson Prophesys the Perfect Storm

Very difficult days are ahead. If you want to have a glimpse, you will want to read this disturbing word from John Paul Jackson. I have seen him and heard him often. I won't endorse this, but I will make it available. The world is on the brink of something. Maybe it's this:

FIVE ELEMENTS OF THE BREWING PERFECT STORM As in the movie The Perfect Storm, the storm I see coming to the United States is a combination of more than one element, and when the elements unite, the storm becomes exponentially more dangerous. However, unlike the movie, this storm is not just a storm of merging weather patterns. This storm is worse; it involves five different elements: religion, politics, economics, war and geo-physical events.
The whole prophecy is too long to copy here. I'll let you go to the link. You have been warned.

Here is an interview where he talks about this prophecy.
It's worth watching.

A Chicagoland Apostle and Prophet speaks....

I know John Eckhardt, I trust his word of Prophecy. If you read and ponder this you will get a fresh vision from God for your Life. That's what the word of prophecy is supposed to do.

Read on:

John Eckhardt:
"Don't Miss the Kingdom! Seize and Take Hold of It!"

...I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of Heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed...And the Kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the Kingdom under the whole Heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.—Daniel 7:13-14 and 27

Daniel's prophecy refers to an individual called "the Son of man" coming to receive a Kingdom. In verse 13 we lay the foundation concerning the Kingdom of God. Remember, Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Everywhere He went He preached the same message, "Repent for the Kingdom of God," or "the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (see Matthew 4:17 and Mark 1:15). All throughout the Gospels, we find that Jesus' emphasis was on the Kingdom.

Jesus chose twelve men, ordained them as Apostles, and sent them out with that very same message. Preach the Kingdom of God! Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers and cast out devils. He commanded not only to preach it, but to demonstrate the Kingdom of God. In Luke 10, Jesus appointed 70 others and sent them out two-by-two, telling them the same thing. He told them to go preach and proclaim that the Kingdom of God is at hand and He healed the sick.

The primary reason Jesus came to earth was to inaugurate the Kingdom of God. Often, we hear that the reason Jesus came to the earth was to die on the Cross. Jesus did come to die on the Cross, but that death on the Cross was for the purpose of establishing the Kingdom of God.

When the Kingdom Comes to You—
Grab Hold of it!

There were multitudes of people when Jesus preached the message of the Kingdom. Some missed it—others did not. Jesus said, "...the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force" (Matthew 11:12). That word "violent" does not refer to a natural violence, but rather refers to a person who has a revelation of the Kingdom and seizes it! They take it by force.

To take by force means to "seize it." When the police come, they seize someone, they take them by force. When the Kingdom comes to you, you need to seize it! You need to take it by force, don't let it go by. If you do, you can miss it. Don't take all the time you want to ponder and decide if you want it. When the Kingdom comes, you have to grab it!

The message of the Kingdom comes to some people and they think about it. They think about it, they examine it, and then it passes them by. Others who have had the Kingdom come to them grasped it. They grasped it because they were desperate. The Gospel was preached primarily to the poor because they were desperate. Jesus said, "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor..." (Luke 4:18). The reason the poor enter the Kingdom of God faster than the rich is because they are desperate. The rich man has to come to the end of himself. The poor are dependent, they are broken, and they need help.

When the good news of the Kingdom of God comes to the poor, they are ready for good news. The poor and sick, the blind, the withered, the lame and demonized all rush into the Kingdom of God. Those were the ones that followed the ministry of Christ. The Bible says that in the days of John the Baptist, the law and the prophets were until John. But since the time of John, the Kingdom of Heaven is preached and every man presses into it (see Luke 16:16). The word "press" represented a crowd pressing to seize the Kingdom.

Jesus went about all the towns and villages preaching the Gospel—the good news. There were crowds of poor, sick, and demonized people. They were considered to be the lowest of society. Yet, they were pressing in, crowding to seize the best news they had ever heard. Even in their state of being—sick, poor, and demonized, they knew they had a revelation that this man Jesus did not come to condemn them. He didn't come to judge them. But He came to bring hope, to bring a Kingdom that is not like the kingdom of the world. It's the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God is Greater than the Kingdom of Man

In the book of Daniel, you will discover that Daniel describes the kingdom of men as that of a beast. The nature of man is likened to that of a beast. The number 666 is the number of man; it is the number of the beast. Often, man can behave like beasts. They have the capacity to be cruel, domineering and abusive. Often in lower classes of society, the kingdom of man consists of those who have been rejected, looked down upon and talked about. They are mistreated as if they had no rights, they are despised and taken advantage of.

In the kingdom of man, value is placed by position, power, fame and how much money someone has. The Kingdom of God is the opposite. In God's Kingdom, a person's status, power and name mean nothing. And how much money you have does not impress God. Jesus said, " is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:24).

Jesus was not saying that it is impossible for the rich to enter His Kingdom. But often, when they have power, money, prestige and influence, they also tend to have pride and are not humble. They don't need or depend on anyone, so when the Kingdom comes to them, oftentimes they reason, they ponder and examine, and say within themselves, "I don't need that, I have everything. I have money and houses. I have a nice car, position, fame and power. I'm number one in my own kingdom, in my society." They don't have the revelation or understanding of their need for the Kingdom of God.

The poor who have been oppressed, who are in need of deliverance, those who have been run down are the ones that Jesus came to preach to. These are the ones who pressed into the Kingdom and seized it because they had understanding of their own need. They understood that there is a Kingdom which is higher than the kingdoms that have held them down. A Kingdom that is higher than any political kingdom, religious kingdom, higher than the kingdoms of witchcraft, or even the kingdoms of sickness. Every one of these people who have come to Jesus, they pressed, they believed and SEIZED the Kingdom of God, and they were healed, delivered and set free.

You need to seize His Kingdom—grab it—because if you don't, it will pass right by you! It's amazing how a miracle can be right at your door, and if you don't grab it, it will go right by you. Healing can be right at your door, and if you don't grab it, it will go right by you. We can't sit and look religious—when God shows up, grab Him! Bring Him into your situation. This is not the time to be cool or worry about what your friends and family will say. Recognize your need for healing and deliverance, and your need for the Kingdom of God. Thank God for His Kingdom!

The Kingdom of God is Now—It is Here!

When Jesus came and preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, it was not a foreign concept to the people of God—the Jews. They were expecting the Messiah to come with the Kingdom of Heaven. They had the prophecies of "...One coming..." (see Daniel 4:13, 23 and 7:13) spoken by Daniel. So, the Pharisees were looking for the Son of man to come in the clouds of glory to deliver them out of the hands of the Romans. They were looking for the King of Israel.

The Pharisees did not believe that Jesus was The One, but yet they asked Him when the Kingdom would come! Jesus had been preaching that the Kingdom of God had come—that it was here. He preached it then, and preaches it now. The Kingdom of God is now—it is here!

Some may like position, but the Kingdom is not about position. It's not about how anointed you are, how great you are, or what your name is, or whether you are on television or radio. God says to humble yourself and He will exalt you. If you make yourself of no reputation He will promote you. When God promotes you, there is nothing man can do about it. He is the Judge. He puts one down and raises another one up. He is the King in His Kingdom!

Thank God for the Kingdom! Renew your mind; Jesus came to bring a different order. He came to bring a different Kingdom, unlike anything you have ever known. Remove from your mind those things that you are familiar with. Remove from your mind what you see on television, what's on "Entertainment Tonight" or "Hollywood Minute." It doesn't matter who leads or who follows. Take all that out of your mind. That is not the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom is about being humble; it's about serving and loving. It's about being merciful.

We may be so busy in ministry that we miss the Kingdom of God. Jesus did not come to bring ministry—He came to bring the Kingdom! We sing, dance, preach and prophesy, we cast out devils, we travel and have big ministries, we have big churches and still don't know about the Kingdom of God! We know about faith, we know about healing, we know about miracles, about the apostolic and prophetic. We know all about intercession and demons and casting them out. But we don't know about the Kingdom.

Jesus did not come preaching faith or healing. He didn't preach miracles. He preached about the Kingdom of God! Healing, deliverance and faith came to those who seized the Kingdom of God. The foremost thing on God's mind is His Kingdom. Before Jesus Christ returns we're going to get this right. He's not coming back for a messed up Church. He's coming back for a Church without spot or blemish or wrinkle. He is coming back for Kingdom people! He is going to show us what the Kingdom is.

"Heavenly Father, show us, show me Your Kingdom." Do not miss the Kingdom of God.

How to Operate in the Kingdom of God

If you want to operate in this Kingdom you will have to humble yourselves. If you want to operate in this Kingdom you will have to lay some things aside. Lay aside ambition, desire to be seen, position, or lust for power. These are not the Kingdom. Jesus told the Pharisees (remember, the religious people) that the problem is you're looking for some grand event, for the heavens to open up; the Kingdom does not come like that. The Kingdom of God is here and now, because I AM THE KING and you don't see it.

In Luke 17, Jesus says that they would look to the heavens to what Daniel spoke of and they will say, "When are you coming back?" Your eyes have been focused up in the heavens, but right here in front of you is the Kingdom of God.

It's the same today. People look up to Heaven looking for something to happen, when God is saying, "My Kingdom is right here, right now." When you hear the Gospel of the Kingdom of God—seize it! Grab hold of it and press toward it. Don't miss it!

Used and Useful

I have people who use me. With my permission sometimes. I want to be useful. So I am.

Sometimes people use me without my permission. That isn't my best or theirs.

The only one who has permanent permission to use me, the only one for whom I want to be permanently useful is for Father.

Use me Lord. Don't let me be used by the world or worldly people.

Make me more useful Lord. Make me. Mould me.

A tool in the hands of God.....That's my desire.

Cannon Fodder or sometimes a guided Missile

Last night I talked briefly to Stephen Strader. He was in Rochelle IL at Jim Horvat's church. During the Altar Call time, the Lord Told me, "Pastor Horvat has a word for you".

He laid hands on me and during a long time he basically affirmed what I read from Bill Yount.

He basically told Peggy and Me that we were the tools God uses to accomplish his purposes.

I knew that he was speaking by the Holy Ghost.

This morning when I read Brother Yount's word of Prophecy, I know full well he is speaking to many.... Time to get in the cannon. You are the ammunition:

Bill Yount:
"An Urgent Call for the Right Ammunition for Our Spiritual Weapons"
Bill Yount

With all of the spiritual weapons I have seen being used in our war against the enemy, I am beginning to wonder and ask, "Lord, do we have the right ammunition? What is the right ammunition?" Having the wrong ammunition in a weapon is like any one of us holding onto a ministry position we are not (or are no longer) called to—at which point we wonder why the ranks of our army are not effective.

Being Ejected into a Higher Purpose

Sometimes God will allow our ministry to be rejected by man so He can eject us into His higher purpose! Remember that God is always looking out for us to go higher but not necessarily our ministry. The word "reject" means "to throw away." The word "eject" means "to drive out forcefully, to force to leave." If you think you and your ministry have been rejected by people and circumstances, you may be, in God's eyes, "ejected" into your higher calling.

Recently, I was praying for a Pastor who was seeking a word from the Lord because he needed direction. He told me nothing about his situation so I wouldn't be influenced by the information in hearing from the Lord. I then saw a vision of a pump shotgun. When this type of gun is pumped, it automatically ejects the empty shell of ammunition so the next shot can be loaded into the gun.

I saw this Pastor's ministry as an empty "shell" that was seemingly being "rejected" by all appearance, in his own eyes and by many in his congregation. But his ministry was actually being ejected in God's eyes, so that the Lord could use him in an even greater way. Remember that God is always looking out for us to go higher, but not necessarily our ministry.

I then saw the Lord loading the minister himself into this gun to be shot out where he has never gone before, into an apostolic calling. Just like a shotgun having many BBs in its shot to hit a wider range of target, the Lord spoke, "There is a ministry that scatters and yet increases! This Pastor's ministry advancing now will begin to hit many targets far and near."

Sometimes our present ministry must be ejected from our lives in order for God to use us in His higher purposes. I sense many ministries in this hour may appear to be retreating but are actually advancing in another direction! I have seen this in ministries and in my own. What I enjoyed doing was seemingly rejected by others, but it was God "ejecting" that part of my ministry in order for me to be used in a greater way. I loved that part of ministry so much that I would probably never have given it up on my own, so God used people to help me give it up!

I am not condoning having a rejection complex and thinking everyone is out to reject you or your ministry. You must keep a right spirit and have patience toward those who oppose you until God does the ejection through the rejection. I believe that when it's of God and in His timing, you will experience an "injection" of His presence and a peace that passes all understanding.

You Are the Ammunition

While searching for our spiritual weapons, I have found the ammunition for them...WE ARE IT! Recently in a glorious atmosphere of worship, and yet wondering why our weapons of warfare seemed to be lacking in power against the enemy, I sensed the Lord saying, "Can I load you into My cannons?"

Up until now, we seemed to have given God our worship, prayers and invested money to help build His army, but He was now requiring us to become His ammunition for His weapons. He seemed to be saying, "You are all I have to use on this earth to overcome the enemy! Trust Me and let Me load you into My weapons." He needs nothing else but us completely surrendered to Him to be loaded into His spiritual cannons, guns and warships.

The revelation of us becoming His ammunition dawned on me: a cannon ball knows that it is not coming back! The ammunition in a gun knows it will not return from where it was shot out! I sensed a very serious call that I have forgotten over the years, that the call of God is a one way ticket with no turning back. If we even think about turning back we will.

This call reminded me of what I have read of past generations when the call of God came so strongly for many to go to the mission fields in other countries of the world. These called out people took their call so seriously that when they boarded the ships to these nations, they also boarded their caskets on the ship with them. They knew they weren't coming back! If they even thought about returning, they would have. They knew the day they chose to follow Jesus was the day they died to self.

They overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.—Revelation 12:11

Likewise, the Lord is calling us to go all the way with Him on this offensive attack, on a one-way ticket. Spiritual cannons, guns, and warships are now poised and aimed at enemy targets. Ammunition is now being summoned...we are it! Are we willing?

Poor Prophets

I pondered the fact that none of the Prophets in the Bible seemed to be men or women of Great Wealth. I have a feeling that it's a case of what, not when, nor what to do when. Jeremiah was exiled with the rest. When God sent the Assyrians to Judah, Isaiah still was in jeopardy. Elijah needed to find something to eat and drink during the drought he prophesied. I shouldn't expect any different. Just Trusting God.

You are to be as afraid of the Future as Jesus is

Tonight in Church Jesus gave a word that I brought. Right now many are fearful of an economic collapse. Many prophetic voices including my own are speaking of this coming change.

As soon as I walked in the door at 6PM, the Lord spoke to me. He said: I want you to be afraid of the coming economic shift... exactly as much as I AM. Of course Jesus isn't afraid of the future. He holds it. He has no fear.

We have the mind of Christ, so we can walk in the same confidence he has.

After the day of Pentecost, the Disciples never again showed fear. In fact they had to kill them to stop them from Glorifying God in their lives.

That's what we can do. What matters most is, Jesus says, "Be exactly as afraid as I AM". He knows the beginning from the end... he IS the beginning from the end.

He is fearless, so we can be.

Pride will Block Prosperity

God gives us insight. He gives us understanding. He gives us education and learning.

Then he watches us. He uses that as a test for what will happen to you if he gives you more.

If you handle it well, he will make you ruler over more cities. If you do not, even what you have will be taken from you.

If you have pride in what he has given you and use it badly, he will hold back significant prosperity from you. If you are able to receive and flow thru with the money he gives you, you will prosper in God. He will fill your coffers.

This is not a formula. This is simply a truth.

God will NOT give you what he cannot trust you with and if you prove to be untrustworthy, he will take even what he has already given you.

This is a word I got late Saturday night. It might be for me alone. Or, maybe you.

I only know this. I have to test my heart, look for pride and kill it. My provision and prosperity depend on it.

Make me, Mold me.

Civil War in the Spirit

I am in a place right now were I see a civil war. Our country is divided. There are people inciting division.

In economics there is division. Those who believe things are about to get better and those who do not.

Most disturbing is the civil war in spiritual things. It is becoming clear that people are being called to decide which side they will be on. The fault line is Homosexuality and the Life issues.

If you are soft on either or both of those you have chosen to be blue or grey. On the other side are those who's foundation is Faith in God on a Fundamental Level. Not fundamentalism. But ignoring Man's opinion.

Then I hear Jesus voice: Matthew 10

32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.

34 “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.

35 ‘I have come to set a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 Your enemies will be right in your own household!’l]">[l]

37 “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. 38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. 39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.

40 “Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me. 41 If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God,m]">[m] you will be given the same reward as a prophet. And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs. 42 And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.”

Some commentary that is salient.

People's New Testament

10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth. Christ has to conquer a peace by overcoming the evil that is in the way of peace. Hence, to preach the gospel of purity and peace always arouses the opposition of the evil doer. Evil has to be put down before peace can prevail. Hence, while the great end that Christ proposes is peace, the immediate result of his coming, and of the preaching of the gospel, was opposition and bloodshed.

But a sword. The only sword that Christ or his followers use in the conflict is the Sword of the Spirit, but the persecutor has in every age turned upon them the carnal sword. The sword is sent because persecutors use it upon the church.

Wesley's Notes

10:33-34 Whosoever shall deny me before men - To which ye will be strongly tempted. For Think not that I am come - That is, think not that universal peace will be the immediate consequence of my coming. Just the contrary. Both public and private divisions will follow, wheresoever my Gospel comes with power. Ye - this is not the design, though it be the event of his coming, through the opposition of devils and men. Luke 12:51.

We are entering a time of civil war. Calls for Unity are really calls for compromise.

For this is the Plan of God..... Come ye out from among them.... Be ye Separate. Holy.

That is not agreeing with doctrines of Demons to go along and get along. That's not unity. It's apostasy. Be warned.

The Great Divide and it's Lever

I am strongly impressed that the great apostasy, the great divide, the falling away will revolve around the issue of homosexuality.

God is not mocked.

He destroyed two towns in Genesis. How much more will he deal severely with people who take his name in vain in the name of religion.

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. People in lukewarm Churches around the nation are lacking in wisdom.

The judgement of GOD is on them. I see it clearly.

A Word from God about the Past

The Lord says that there are many of you that need to upgrade your self-image. Don't look at yourself the way that you were in the past. You are no longer the man or woman that you once were. Re construct your way of thinking into the image of how I see you says the Lord. I am bringing forth a new wineskin. You must protect and nurture this new wineskin to be able to hold the new wine that I am bringing. Don't look in the rearview mirror of your past any longer. When you look in the mirror open your eyes to see yourself the way that I see you. Don't be afraid of change but move forward into the victory that I have for you. Some of you are depriving yourselves from entering into the blessings that I have for you by looking back at the person that you once were. Remember where I have brought you from but walk in the newness that I am bringing you in to. Don't look back at the person that you once were but look unto the promises and the provisions that I have for you says the Lord.

The Diaspora Still Happens

I was just in communication with a dear friend who attended a fellowship with me for a long time.

She and I have slipped away quietly into the night without a word. A diaspora of the Spirit.

Not angry. Just no longer condoning or sanctioning what doesn't have the Spirit of God in it.

The Spirit of God attracts, mans schemes and programs repel.

The result is empty churches and meeting rooms.

And zero offerings.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, the is Freedom, there is Life, There is Love.

And where it's not is death.

And THAT is the word of the Lord.

What to do When the Prophetic is Despised, Ignored or Hidden

Scripture is pretty clear. Paul says. Do NOT despise Prophecy. He wishes we all would prophesy. It's a precious gift. I need it. I desire it like I desire the bread of life He is.
It should be a normative part of everything we do in the Spirit. Three explanations.

Today I was encouraged by the Holy Spirit to offer a word of Prophetic warning to some unbelievers I have been part of a political forum with. I did NOT say, "Thus saith the Lord". I simply said, "As friends I want to offer you a word of Warning". Then I gave the word. Not couched in religious language. Not expecting anything in return. These are people I communicate with on a forum regarding political issues. BUT, they also know my ministerial calling. I don't trumpet it. They were offended and despised the word. You would be hard pressed to find a higher level of ridicule. If I had come and said, so and so on CNBC has said thus, they would have been more accepting.

This wasn't my opinion. This wasn't something I read somewhere. If I did, it wouldn't be prophecy would it. It was simply a word of wisdom by prophesy. I gave it to them without any thus saith the Lord. They surely wouldn't get that.

The rebuff didn't hurt. It did remind me: Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, For he will despise the wisdom of your words. Proverbs 23:9

I don't consider myself wise. I do consider Father of all Wisdom wise. If he speaks a thing directly thru a man or woman of God, I want to hear it. Even from my own lips. I often have aha moments when I hear what the Lord is saying THRU me.

Despising the Prophetic in my opinion is despising the Gift of GOD. SIN! For them I don't know. But in any case, Sin. Some little boys were killed when they despised an old bald headed prophet named Elisha. I don't call that down on them. They were just foolish. I won't offer that kind of word of wisdom again to them.

Some people, even in ministry, have made a choice to ignore the voice of God. To not have any spoken or written prophetic utterances prominent in the house of worship they are over. That choice that purposely ignores the word of the Lord means that if I attend or participate in those gatherings I am in a way embracing and even endorsing the exclusion or ecclesial control of the prophetic in those times where the 1 Corinthians 14 flow once was and should be. In this case, prophecy is not despised, it is ignored. Jeremiah is not ridiculed and placed in a pit, but kept in an outer court. Away from the people.

Sometimes this is because of some bad experiences that soiled the bath water. So in an effort to keep things from being complicated, the baby and the bathwater go out together.

I am not allowed by the Holy Spirit to endorse this by my participation. Glory that once was this house is no longer there because of a purposed silencing of the prophetic. It would grate against who God has called me to be to confirm such an error among those who certainly should know better. So I don't.

Sometimes the Prophetic is hidden. Is underground. In certain ecclesial cultures there is a difficulty where the Prophetic is concerned. People are ignorant of the gift. They don't understand it. They are unable, usually because of a lack of teaching or because of a lack of spiritual discernment to easily receive from the Prophet in a straightforward manner.

Father does not hold that against them. They are open to receiving a word of encouragement. They are ready for edification. The opportunity to do this is there. It is not squelched except by ignorance. Staying and functioning in the Call of God on my life in such a place is not against his will. OF THIS I am certain.

This is a Hidden prophetic voice issue, not intentionally ignored which I believe is rebellion against the Spirit of God and not despised which I believe is sin for some.

Therefore, I stay and continue in the Calling God has placed on my life, without apology, without need for approbation, willing to take the abuse and disdain from those who know not what they are doing.

In communicating with a dear woman of God I made this statement, "Unless you are willing to accept the ministry gift God has given thru his people you cannot receive from them".

In this case, those who despised will not be able to receive. Those who ignore will not receive because they choose not to even if they acknowledge the gift and those from whom it is hidden neither ignore nor despise and for them they receive as from a Ghost. They are. The Holy Ghost.
The Lord would say, "do not despise prophesying, I would that you all would prophesy. And some I call to be Evangelists, Some Teachers, Some Pastors, Some Apostles and some Prophets."

So then, what are we to do with the equipping gifts of Ephesians Four? If you have such a gift and the place you go despises or ignores your gift, what should you do?

Jesus tells us clearly in Luke 9:

Wherever you go, stay in one house until you leave the city. If they do not receive you and your preaching, then shake off the dust that is under your feet as a testimony against them.

The truth you need to understand is that it will be better for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for the city that rejects your testimony that the kingdom of God is near.

NOW, what would YOU do? I hope that explains some things.

A warning from a Known Modern Prophet

I shared this truth with some unbelievers and was ridiculed for it. Pearls before Swine. I won't do that again. But Chuck Pierce has some good word... Read the whole thing. It's worth the read.

A New Identity and Economic Shift

We must have a new identity as we go into this new season. I see shafts of light coming from a heavenly realm. It is almost like the Lord has paths of light for you to step into. Powerful revelation is being held and stirring above you. Step by faith and watch as your path comes alive and you walk differently. Some of you do not know your next step, and I am here to say that you can walk in your new path and walk in a way that you will be seen differently.

This is a strange time when the enemy is attempting to conform you to the world's blueprint. The trials and reports of the world will cause you to be captured by unbelief. But you can step into a favor that will cause the world to seek your help.

Watch for an economic shift by the end of this month. Between August 24 and October 17, there will be great changes in the financial system. Be aware that the banking system has not finished making its changes. We will start into an accelerated shift in structure. The government is in an open rearrangement.

One word from the glory—"Wake up, Sleeping Beauty!"

Today's message from Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda

Step into the vibration of faith and glory that comes from His presence, and become a carrier of signs, wonders and miracles. You can release the healing word and power of God in every aspect of your life, your family, your church and your nation! This is the believer's mandate—the "Go" of the gospel given in the Great Commission (see Matt. 28:19).

God is always with us. We are filled with the same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead. We are carriers of His glory and have been anointed to extend His kingdom through signs, wonders and miracles.

One of our first obligations at this time is to pray. God is raising up a mighty army of watchmen, awake and ready to arise that His glory might shine on the earth in the midst of great darkness.

There may be areas in your life and in our nation that you look at and say, "Comatose!" The experts may be saying, "Let's pull the plug." But God wants you to stand as intercessors to welcome the Holy Spirit and battle against powers and principalities. He wants you to say with conviction to the "sleeping" things, "Wake up!"

We believe that the shofar is blowing for another great awakening and that the Lord is speaking to His church, to this nation and to the nations, "Wake up, Sleeping Beauty!" We are praying for God's mercy and restoration of our country's godly heritage, for a turn-around in our economy and for a great awakening across our land.

The history of the United States—and the world—in 2009 and beyond will be shaped by believers who will humble themselves in fasting and prayer. We invite you to be one of them.

Remember, you are a carrier of the glory!

Train up a Child and if he goes another way, don't fret, you did what you supposed to do

Every parent is concerned about their children. That they turn out all right.

The problem is, my all right might not be their all right. They make choices. Their own. They will live and die by those choices.

If I try too hard to direct those choices I fail every way.

Father God sees us the same way. He sends his spirit to dwell. Some of us have gone our own way. Yet, he doesn't hate or despise those choice.

He chooses to let us live or die by the choices we make. Whatever they are.

It's a paradox.

Spoiled Brat "Christians"

Sometimes the Father sees us as earthy fathers see their own children:

  • Thankless
  • Selfish
  • Unwilling to work
  • Pout if we don't get our way
  • Demanding
  • Crabby
  • A sense of entitlement
  • Impatient

Just like People who have inherited huge fortunes, trust babies. They have no time for anything but their own desires.

We have inherited a huge fortune and don't recognize or beyond simple words acknowledge it.

Remember the old commercial with the Indian in it about pollution and garbage. A tear trickles down his cheek as someone throws garbage out of a car window?

I wonder if spiritually a tear doesn't flow... I just wonder.

He gave us so much and we don't understand what it cost him. Everything.

Prophetic Blindness to Signs in the Sky

There are not YET signs in the sky, but if there were, many who claim to flow in the prophetic wouldn't see them.

It would interfere with their next conference. The next meeting. Can't have any clouds like a mans hand. No scrolls rolling back allowed.

Just let me get up on that platform, have a rocking worship band, set the room auditorium style and put a microphone in my hand. And, take up that "Love Offering".

Who gave that gift brother or sister prophet? Freely given freely give?

There are signs all around, things are in rapid change. Prophets, do you not see it?

Prophets, PROPHESY!!

The Shadow of the Apostles and Healing

A good word and one that encourages.

I knew Jill Austin. I trust her and the vision she had just before she died is worth considering

Many years ago in Kansas City at Metro Christian Center I spent a little time with Jill Austin. She was a Prophetess who died in January.

God gave her a vision before she died. She wasn't sick. She died unexpectedly. But, sometimes Father gives people about to be taken something rich that is worth considering.

He did. I submit that this video has truth in it and we need to reflect on what that means. Our world is on a sugar high and when it comes down will suffer greatly. That is a prophetic warning.

Watch Jill's Prophetic vision:

If David encouraged himself in the Lord, then why was there Nathan?

Why did Nathan exist if David was fully able to encourage himself in the Lord?

Some pastors and leaders do NOT understand the need to hear from GOD thru others. Fortunately Father has given some gifts for that purpose. They are called Prophets.

Yet, these same Leaders seem to think THEY have the only one way line from the Throne.

NOPE, Or DAVID, fire that Nathan before he gets you into trouble......

A Word of Prophecy in Due Season is the Bread of Life Jesus Spoke of

This is a real time thought. I won't give context. It's personal.

But, we are not to seek the Gifts, seek the Giver. And then the Gifts will come.

But, we need to receive them. If a birthday present was sent and you never unwrapped it, it would be pretty foolish.

God is the giver of Gifts. Unwrap them. There's bread of life in there.

A disturbing Prophetic Vision.... I don't know about it, I just submit it

I was forward this by a man I know. You can read it for what it's worth.

Wally Hinkle's Scripture Foundation

I was asked by a regular contributor to this blog what scripture Wally Hinkle used for the prophetic pronouncements he made regarding June 9, 1994.

I remember them well. They are burned into my memory and have come to pass.

He Referenced Isaiah 25:
6 In Jerusalem,[a] the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
will spread a wonderful feast
for all the people of the world.
It will be a delicious banquet
with clear, well-aged wine and choice meat.
7 There he will remove the cloud of gloom,
the shadow of death that hangs over the earth.
8 He will swallow up death forever![b]
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears.
He will remove forever all insults and mockery
against his land and people.
The Lord has spoken!

9 In that day the people will proclaim,
“This is our God!
We trusted in him, and he saved us!
This is the Lord, in whom we trusted.
Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!”

Isaiah Chapter 40

4 Every valley shall be raised up,
every mountain and hill made low;
the rough ground shall become level,
the rugged places a plain.

5 And the glory of the LORD will be revealed,
and all mankind together will see it.
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

6 A voice says, "Cry out."
And I said, "What shall I cry?"
"All men are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.

7 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the LORD blows on them.
Surely the people are grass.

8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God stands forever."

9 You who bring good tidings to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, [c]
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
"Here is your God!"

10 See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power,
and his arm rules for him.
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.

From that time to now, this has become more and more apparent. I won't parse out the verses, but if you are of an age where you remember the world in the early 1990s and the world today, you will see that much of this has and is coming to pass.

I remember going to ND to see Pastor Dan and asking him why nothing spectacular happened on June 9, 1994. That was in the fall of 94. Pastor Dan said, most prophetic fulfilment is seen thru a rear view mirror.

This was that.

And IS!

Sure, if you want to over despiritualize the passages you can do so, but these are the ones who Pastor Hinkle said would begin to be revealed and I believe it has happened.

Let it continue. Let God arise and his enemies be scattered.

For those in Turmoil and Terror of the day.... I need to hear this too

I know how many are in turmoil over the agonies of the day. I looked for a word from God.

He gave me this.

Sabbah day rest, in JESUS, He is our Sabbath
Psalm 55
1 Listen to my prayer, O God.
Do not ignore my cry for help!
2 Please listen and answer me,
for I am overwhelmed by my troubles.
3 My enemies shout at me,
making loud and wicked threats.
They bring trouble on me
and angrily hunt me down. 4 My heart pounds in my chest.
The terror of death assaults me.
5 Fear and trembling overwhelm me,
and I can’t stop shaking.
6 Oh, that I had wings like a dove;
then I would fly away and find rest!
7 I would fly far away
to the quiet of the wilderness.

When the word of God is released in a man

No one understands the Power present when the word of God is released in a man. Moses was one such. Jeremiah. Ezekiel. God spoke and they were changed, and were released on a mission.

In the last couple years God has given me the responsibility to speak to several saints of God a mission that he had called them to accomplish in HIM.

I didn't define the mission. The mission was already in their hearts.

When Father asked me to release the mission they already had, they were astonished and took after it with vigor and and understanding that this was a mission from God.

Today these men and women are fulfilling the purposes of God in their life. Doing exploits.

If it hadn't been me, if others came along and spoke the same thing, if they would have done it anyway, I don't know. I DO know that after the mission was declared, they acted in faith and confidence in Creator God. Souls are being saved, the Kingdom of God on Earth is being established.

And THAT is why I believe and rely so much on the power of the Prophetic in the Body of Christ.

I pity those without it, who's counsel is other than HIM.

A good word, I just thought I would pass it along

Andy Sanders with Bill Yount:
"A New Era: Enemies & Peculiar Occasions Will Unlock Many Tremendous Gates"

In a recent dream on July 4, 2009 at 2:48am, a door closed directly behind me and then another door (more like a gate) opened, and I walked through it. Right before waking up the Lord spoke these words: "This is an era closing and a new one beginning." We are starting a totally new era on this earth. Not a new season, but a completely new epoch. It is as impacting as going from the old steam engines to bullet trains, or moving from horse and buggy to electric hybrid cars. The former systems are fading quickly. It is time to let the old wineskins officially die. Close the doors of the past and open the gates of the future.

Is your system changing fast? This year, practically every imaginable adjustment that can come is happening. For example, our computer finally gave up, and as a result, God gave us two for the price of one.

The insurance that we used to have has now been exchanged for a completely new program. Just a year ago I would have said "absolutely no" to this type of medical coverage. When we stepped out on the road full-time (June 30, 2006), we got rid of a dog, but just this year God gave us back an incredible one, perfectly fit for travel. Recently God paid some of our bills off in a day's time. I could go on and on, both in the natural and spiritual.

Remove Our Personal Religions and Unveil a God Opportunity

1 Corinthians 8:9, "But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them who are weak."

There was a temporal change that stunned us. Because of being on staff and pastoring for nine years, I was accustomed to being in a suit and tie on Sundays. When we stepped out on the road three years ago, Cathy and I felt the Lord tell us to dress nice, but not in dresses and suits anymore. A few months ago we went to a church who would not let Cathy minister in prophetic worship because she did not have a dress on. Now I know what you probably want to say, "That religious group of people!" This is what I thought at first.

Then God showed me a different side. As I talked this over with my dear friend Bill Yount, the Spirit of the Lord came upon him saying, "Andy, you are going into a new season and territory where you must be ready to humble yourselves and put on a tie, with Cathy in a dress, if it is required of you to minister there. Don't miss a God-opportunity because of the way you want to look. You must be meek and willing to meet the people you minister to by going there as a servant of the Lord, not for any other reason." Then Bill said, "What if God has truly asked those churches to dress nice on a Sunday?"

Since the time we decided to be in season, the blessings and anointing have increased. No wonder the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:31-33, "Whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give none offense, neither to the Jews nor to the Gentiles, nor to the Church of God. Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."

Bill Yount also had a similar experience: "I remember when I first got saved and had longer hair over my ears. I went to a certain church with an evangelist, and he had asked me to come along to sing a song. Before the service began the pastor took me into a side room and explained that I could not sing in this church because my hair was over my ears. After the service that night I went home thinking, 'God looks at the heart and not our hair, and their religious spirit caused them to miss hearing a great anointed song.'

"Going to bed that night the Lord began talking to me. 'Son, which is more important to you for eternity—the length of your hair or ministering the Gospel? Are you going to let the length of your hair stop you from ministering the Gospel?' I realized that wanting to keep my hair long was just as religious as they wanting it short. Since I got my hair cut, there hasn't been a church that has a problem with the length of my hair.

"Also, concerning appearance, I used to be bound by wearing a tie all of the time in church since I was raised that way. Then I thought that real freedom was not having to wear a tie. I later learned that I am only free indeed when I can wear one or go without one, and it doesn't bother me either way! In regards to the length of hair, I should be free enough to grow it long again if it is to help relate to people that God has me minister to as well."

"What I'm saying is this: Do not miss what God is about to do in your life because it cramps your style. This next era will be distinct with many implausible paths and open gates. If we aren't careful, we will walk as a persistent old wineskin that is undying to change, instead of moving in true servant humility.

"We must allow our agendas to expire and learn to live for the Lord's plans. This requires deep humility and mature faith. The Lord is saying now, 'Be prepared to do big things. Be enthusiastic to do the small and temporal in order to bring something great in another's life.' God has to break and cleanse us with the water of humility in order to display the shining spiritual diamonds that are hidden deep within."

Take a Close Look at the Israelites

Joshua 2:1,"…Go, look over the land he said, especially Jericho. So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there."

God used such an abnormal condition to later bring transformation. God's methods can be challenging to our patterns. God was setting up something totally new. He will do this in many lives. In spite of the fact she was a sinner, Rahab's household was spared. Then God blessed her womb to be part of the greatest genealogy of all time: Jesus Christ. In this new era, God will call the prostitutes of our nation back to Him. Like Rahab, their wombs will be blessed and they will lead large regions for Christ.

Matthew 1:5-6, "Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of King David..."

What if the Israelites would have said, "No! This can't be God." They might have missed it! We must get ready to work with people that have rough edges. In fact, the person who you don't like just might be the fertilizer that God has sent your way to help you grow into His likeness! Be alert, they are coming to do you good!

Ask Joseph how he made it to the Palace and his testimony will be filled with the wickedness of his brothers. He will tell you about the 13 long years he spent in prison and even encountered Potiphar's wicked wife. He will probably not tell you much about the Palace itself, but he will make sure you understand how he got there and the people God used in his life. Looking back he will tell you that his dream was so big that God chose to use his enemies to unwrap it!

God still seems to use the enemy's plans to bring out the best in us! You and I may have old wineskins hanging on that must go in order to prepare for the lost to enter the Kingdom. This is an era that is changing on the entire earth. God's ways may not come about exactly how we planned, nor will it look precisely how we thought. We need to be flexible to handle the new strategies of the Holy Spirit. God's plans may look very unusual!

Remember that Rahab was spared. Hebrews 11:31, "By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient."

Remember too that one door shut and another larger gate-like door opened. As this happens we must be like the men of Israel. They were pure enough to stay the night in a prostitutes den, yet they remained faithful and spotless before the Lord. This is walking in the fruit of the Spirit. Get ready for unexpected plans to unfold in your life as you become a light in a darkened world.

The Nine Gifts of the Spirit are for OTHERS

I won't rehearse them here. I suspect you can name all nine from 1 Corinthians 12 with ease.

The other night in worship I was impressed by the Holy Spirit that the nine gifts flow out of us as we flow into others lives. It's all flow. It's all for the release of the power of God for THEM.

Encouragement, Support, Healing, a Miracle, Interpretations, Wisdom, Discernment, Faith... etc.

They are not for YOU or ME to keep and enjoy, they are for everyone to receive freely and freely give.

That's why two chapters later Paul writes that these gifts should be in action, released, in play at every meeting of the Body of Christ. He gives a model. They should come from one another. They should flow in fluid Body Ministry.

When I heard the leader of a Church I have loved for a long time say that "We've gone Beyond needing to hear from God in our meetings" I knew that fellowship was destined to fail.

Unless he (the leader) repents, (here's the prophetic part) God will withdraw. That church will close up shop in a year. Write it on the wall. Ichabod has been hung above the door.

Why would Spirit of God empower his people to minister to one another and then why would the leadership of that Church decide that they no longer want nor need the gifts of the Spirit in flow in the meetings?

I am saddened by all this. This used to be a model 1 Corinthians 14 church. Now it's like every other formless dead religious event. Form but no power.

Like having an airplane but not flying... A big bomb when the enemy comes and not using it.... a huge uncanceled check in the drawer with the mortgage due.

I think if I were to say what God says about this, I would use the word BLINDED. Stiff necked. Rebellious.

How does this happen, but it seems to...Always.

The Church in Decline Part One

I don't know how many of these I will post, but I got a Holy Ghost download on how Daddy sees some churches. These will not be prescriptions but observations. The prescriptions will be obvious.

"We have moved beyond needing to hear prophetic utterances from people in the congregation" I actually HEARD that from a Charismatic Church Leader. It rang so false. Moved Beyond Bread? This used to be a living 1 Corinthians's chapter 14 fellowship.
When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. 27If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God. 29Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33For God is not a God of disorder but of peace................
36Did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? 37If anybody thinks he is a prophet or spiritually gifted, let him acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord's command. 38If he ignores this, he himself will be ignored.i]">[i]

39Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.

Now it's simply a little preaching (from one person) and worship music. Flat. Empty. Without life.

Even if it is "Charismatic" in form, it has died a spiritual death. No life. No flow. Nothing.

If Father wanted to say something, he would have to hold his peace. The man has the Microphone and he ain't letting it go.

As Comedian Bill Englevale says, Here's Your Sign, (it says, Ichabod). Hang it over your door.

The Spirit of the Lord has Departed!

Rick Joyner says, "I see a New World"

This profound prophetic vision will help you see beyond the mess we see all around us.

Thank God for Rick Joyner.

Not having a sense of being settled

This is business and personal.

I'm exploring a business partnership with a man I have known for 5 years.

I'm hearing things in the Spirit.

I have to now determine if it is God or Gene or the enemy.

Silence and talking to Father about all this is important.

And that's what I'm doing. I hope to have clarity soon. My dad used to say, Measure Twice, Saw Once.

I think in prayer that's exactly what I am doing.

John Hinkle's June 9, 1994 Prophecy and Fulfilment

I have seen and heard some really weird things in the Prophetic realm from other people. Sometimes it's just out of tune and doesn't witness.

Once I heard a prophet speak and it sounded like the Father.

It was John Hinkle on TBN giving his prophetic utterance about 1994. You can Google it if you want, mostly it will be heresy hunters discounting it. Pay no attention to the men behind the curtain. The truth is God did what he said he would.

I knew it was genuine. I knew something would happen.

It did. It has. It continues.

Think back, those of us who are grey of hair before 1994. What "religion" was really like. What was going on in the Church, particularly the Charismatic Church. Less than a year after the prophecy, the Revival in Pensacola broke out and the church still reverberates.

Last year was Lakeland.

God is removing evil from the earth.

Just like he said he would.

A Prophetic Word on the Spirit of Rebekah

There is a prophetic admonition to this but you have to know the background to receive this word.

There is a wonderful story of Rebekah in the book of Genesis. It always says wonderful things about God's plan and the wisdom of Eliezer (Abraham's Servant). I won't rehearse it, but you can read a summary of the story here.

Sixteen years ago, my oldest son was 26 years old and unmarried. He had been engaged once. Things didn't work out. He had been seriously involved, but nothing came of any of it.

His heart had been broken a couple times.

He was connected thru church with a family who's oldest child, was a charming young girl. She was 12 years old. She was able, had a servants heart and was to be admired. She had very much a spirit of Rebekah. I had met her a couple times. I liked her.

My son said to me once, "she's going to make some man a wonderful wife some day." I could see in his eyes that he loved her but because of the age difference was stand offish.

Carefully, I said, "Son, maybe that man is you if you are willing to wait for her". From that moment he decided to do just that. He never said anything to the parents or the young lady. He had to be very careful.

Three years later when she was 15 he went to the parents (who at this time loved our son like their own) and told them of his love for their daughter. By then, it was apparent to all that this love was reciprocal.

When she turned 17, he was 30 and they were married. Now, ten years later and four wonderful grandchildren later the Rebekah spirit has manifested fully. She is a wonderful wife to my son and I love her like the daughter we never had.

Last night I was at church picking up some plants from VBS. They were used for the Roman theme. There was a young girl there. Veronica. She is 12 years old. Second child in the family.

She insisted in helping me load the 25 or so (some very heavy) palms. Then she helped me water them. She helped me place them. And she did it with cheer. She did it with a servants heart. I never asked a thing of her, she just tried to be helpful. Like Rebekah.

I had the same thought about her I had about my Daughter in Law years ago. She will make some man a wonderful wife someday. Some young man is noticing this girls inner beauty. Her Rebekah spirit. Her willingness to "water camels", no matter what, is very attractive.

It stands in stark contrast to the spirit of the age that relies on externals, fads and pop culture.

I don't know Miley Cyrus but I don't think her spirit has a chance of equaling the spirit I saw in Veronica and Rebekah.

But, Miley Cyrus is the spirit of our age. Oh, one other thing, Veronica is Home Schooled. The spirit of the age is not infecting her from public schools.

Now, here's the word: Older women (moms) are to teach their daughters to comport themselves. It's not whats happening. Rebekahs are few among us. Those that are there are rare and to be treasured. If in fact a man is fortunate enough to marry one, he will do anything to bestow on her whatever he has. Raising a Rebekah is hard in this culture, but the Lord would say, She is worth more than Jewels. A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Proverbs 31:10. Become a Holy Ghost Jeweler producing girls of great worth, more precious than jewels. Don't let the world press you into it's mold. That just produces cheap junk jewelry in mass production.

I know this woman and vouch for her word from God

JoAnn McFatter:
"Walking By the Spirit with Character and Excellence"

Knowing the Spirit of the Lord will first and foremost determine our ability to walk by the Spirit. Becoming familiar through meditation and communion will enable us to become more and more one with Him as we become familiar with His ways, His voice, and His way of moving in and through us.

As we gain understanding in just how to go about building up our own spirit man in Him, we end up interfacing with His Spirit as often as possible through meditation, speaking in tongues, worship, and studying the Word. Becoming more like Him in our thoughts will only be realized as we familiarize ourselves with who He is and how He has presented Himself to us through all of Scripture and His interaction with mankind throughout history.

In doing a study on the Spirit of the Lord, we find that when the Spirit comes upon an individual, they do what they cannot do in their own strength. The angel speaking to Zechariah summed it up beautifully.

So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts."—Zechariah 4:6

And, it doesn't matter what their gifting is, it is increased beyond what they could do on their own. Just by looking at the variety of people the Spirit of the Lord came upon in Scripture and seeing the result, we see He is not a respecter of persons from Gideon to Ezekiel to David to Jesus. The list is long, but I want to mention a few in particular.

The Spirit of the Lord

It is said of Bezalel the son of Uri, an artisan in the temple of the Lord:

And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.—Exodus 31:3-5

The verses following these go on to speak of all the rest of the artisans who were bestowed with wisdom—a particular aspect of the Spirit of the Lord referenced in Isaiah 11 that enabled them to do more in the area of creativity and skill than they could do on their own.

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord, and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears.—Isaiah 11:2-3

It's interesting that not discerning with our "natural" eyes and ears goes hand-in-hand with having the Spirit of the Lord resting upon us. Of course, we hear that all the time, but we seem to be having a hard time actually navigating that way. I hate to say it again because I know I sound like a broken record, but—it really gets down to that Greek, Western, linear mindset we are steeped in.

Scripture also speaks of the Spirit of the Lord that rested on Moses being imparted to his 70 leaders. This time it had to do with the ability to lead, which evidently the 70 did not have prior to the Spirit being placed upon them.

'Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again. But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp. —Numbers 11: 25-26

This is an amazing circumstance that the Spirit is not subject to time and space. Two who were listed didn't come to the same location for whatever reason, and yet the Spirit was released upon them in the very same fashion. I believe it is indicative not only of the Spirit bypassing the limits we would put on physical placement, but also showing us that what is released "in the cloud" or in the temple of which the cloud was representative, is meant also for the marketplace. It was the same release with the same result. It was offensive to their mindset but, nevertheless, the mind of the Spirit was true to the purpose of God.

Evidently, the Spirit coming upon them was for a particular impartationof leadership. It did not, however, make them perfect in their motives. Their indignation, with the way of the Spirit, was made obvious by their reaction to the two who received the same portion even though they were "not at the meeting." That is why it is so very important to allow God to take us through the process of dying to our own selves and be able to embrace His ways fully. Being anointed with the Spirit is no guarantee of possessing the character needed to carry it. We must do our part to submit to becoming like Christ.

"Walking" By the Spirit

Walking by the Spirit is so much more than just moving in signs, wonders, miracles, leadership, gifting, prophecy, etc. It is not about "what we do", but rather it is about "who we are." We seem to be finally coming into the understanding that walking by the Spirit has as much to do with our heart as it does our abilities. Walking by the Spirit has been a rare thing in the Church, a lost art for sure. What I am excited about is that I believe we have turned a corner in our understanding of just how we need to posture ourselves before the Lord to carry what He wants to pour out.

I urge you to do a study on the ones who Scripture refers to as having the Spirit of the Lord placed upon or in them. I can't take the time to go through them all in this article, but it certainly gives us something to ponder in our hearts as we position ourselves in Him for the outpouring that is coming. I would like in particular to highlight Daniel.

First of all, the king was looking for "young men in whom there was no blemish, but good-looking, gifted in all wisdom, possessing knowledge and quick to understand, who had ability to serve in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the language and literature of the Chaldeans" (Daniel 1:4).

We know as the story progresses that the king wanted them fed and taught by the ways of man prevalent in that day, being given the best that the natural realm could provide. Daniel and his 3 companions heard something different from the Lord and dared to step into it, walking by the Spirit in their dispensation of time. Scripture says that he was given favor to even be able to test what he was hearing as it was drastically different from the instruction given. I believe favor accompanies us as we obey the voice of the Spirit.

Long story short, "As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams" (Daniel 1:17).

What I want to draw our attention to is the phrase "God gave them" what they possessed. It was not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord that they were endowed. While the others followed the mind of man, they followed the wisdom of the Spirit and as Scripture states, they were ten times better than the others (verse 20). Not only that, they defied the laws of physics when thrown into the fire. They possessed excellence of mind, body and spirit, and they moved in what we would call "the supernatural." I believe it was simply a natural result of walking by the Spirit.

As a result, Daniel possessed all of the following. He was a supreme example of one who walks by the Spirit in that he possessed it all—body, mind, soul and spirit.

There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father—your father the king—made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers. Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.—Daniel 5:11-12

The exciting thing is that no matter what you were created to do during this lifetime, choosing to walk by the Spirit will bring increase in the natural while you are jointly partaking of the delight of moving by the Spirit. God always meant for the two realms to uphold each other, and I believe He created us in such a way that we can operate fully in both. That is the invitation as well as the challenge set before us. It is for us all, whether we are raising children at home, making discoveries in a science lab, preaching on the street, or creating the next work of art that the world scrambles to see.

In the end, the masses will not be captured by might, nor by power, BUT by the Spirit of the Lord!

A Luther Portion for Reformation TODAY in the Prophetic

20 years ago while working in Germany, I became obsessed with the life times and places of Martin Luther. This was just before the wall came down. During a couple year's time I made a pilgrimage, sometimes more than once to places that he had lived, preached and worked. I wanted a sense of the man. I wanted to know the spirit of a man who was a key to reforming dead stinking religion in his day.

As a pentecostal christian I had much to admire about Luther. He studied the scriptures and began to ask, why. I had understanding of how the church that uses his name picked and chose those things that create structure when in fact that wasn't his intent all along. He was all about the priesthood of every believer. As I studied I found much wanting in the American Church of his namesake.

I won't get into theology but my upbringing in the Lutheran Church distorted the work and theology of a man God used to change the world, imperfect as he was, flawed, clumsy, human . Just like me.

Of course there were a few issues on which his writings would not pass muster today. But many of the books he penned are profoundly rich and I treasure them.

We attended great Pentecostal German Churches. I learned to love and admire the devotion of those German Christians. They reminded me of Luther. Like Reinhard Bonnke.

But, I had a holy discontent. I knew that there was a need for change. It was after the Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker revelations. I knew we needed to make a new start.

I wanted to be part of that change. I wanted to be an encourager of the change so desperately needed in an American Church that no longer worked.

Somehow I knew comprehending the anointing Luther had would be essential in understanding the last great Reformation. I asked Father to impart to me the same anointing that Martin Luther had.

One afternoon in Wittenburg at the Church where Luther is buried, all alone I was at his grave (he is buried in the floor) and asked for the same spirit He had. We visited the house where Luther and his family lived. I sat on a bench that I know he at one time sat upon. I asked for impartation, even over the hundreds of years. I stood in the little chapel that he preached in, it was smaller than I thought it would be. I knelt and asked for the same anointing.

Later we visited Wartburg Castle of a Mighty Fortress Fame. Much of it was museum in nature. But when I saw the room where he encountered the devil face to face and tossed the bottle of Ink at him, I stood in that room and asked for the same indignation and authority over dark forces.

I won't tell you I felt anything other than a connection to the great reformer and to our God.

We came back to the USA in the mid 90s with a different view of what a new Reformation might look like. What "church" could be like. It was different by far from what I saw all around me.

I was connected with people who were as hungry for change as I was. There was a prophecy (Hinkle) that changed my life. June 9, 1994. That God was going to change everything. The cleansing. A year later almost to the day Pensacola broke out. God was changing everything and it was time to get on board with what he was doing. All kinds of things began to happen. One of which was an encounter with Rodney Howard Browne before he was famous. He said to me, "Gene, this doesn't have to be unusual, you can LIVE LIKE THIS". I believed him. I do. To this day.

As changes began to accelerate, as things came into place. I recognized that the Gift of Teaching that I exercised in church was more than just taking a book or a course and walking thru it. I found myself extracting truth from books of the Bible in ways that many times astounded even me. I kept saying, I not that good a teacher. Something is going on here. People began to look to more than just understanding of scripture, but how does that apply to them. Prophetic.

In the late 90s it became clear that the gift God was imparting was not teaching but the prophetic office. Reformation thru the prophetic. Prophets and Apostles were not yet recognized by many -- YET.

The spirit of God had imparted to me some of what HE had imparted to Martin Luther. I was willing. So was HE.

At first I was tentative. I read books, I spent time with other prophetic people. I enjoyed and benefited from those times. I realized however that this anointing was unique to the Call of God on my life. It became apparent that to be "Trained" or Mentored to be what Father had appointed me to be could have become sacrilegious. I have been careful to allow Father to develop me and not rush off here or there to hear from "world" prophets.

The reality was, God had put a specific spiritual DNA in me. A prophetic DNA. I, like Saul, becoming a different man.

More than ever, I see the hand of God. He has placed me as a Prophet. He has appointed me. Ordained me. Yes I have received public recognition from Churches, Friends, Pastors even denominations. It's good, but the reality is their recognition is far less important than the ordination of Father by His Spirit.

The ONE who really matters placed me where I stand now. A prophet of God.

I can't not be a prophet any more than I can change my gender. People ask how do I know that I'm a Prophet. I know because it's what I produce as a gift, it's what God anoints, It's what God Appoints and it's how God uses me. Sure I can do other things. But it's in the prophetic when Father takes charge. Right as it should be.

The office of Prophet is no different than the office of Pastor, Evangelist, Apostle, Teacher. I'm not the others. I am a Prophet. Just as an Evangelist is an Evangelist.

I do not just have a prophetic gift as one of the gifts of the Spirit. I have a calling, an office because it's not what I do, its who I am. That's what an office looks like. I am the place the gift dwells. In an office.

It doesn't make me better or worse. It does cause me to understand that for me the bar is raised. I'm thankful yet live in fear of the Lord that I not misuse the gift and office he has placed me in.

I think about how Luther must have felt, must have wondered and then he BECAME his calling.
His calling was his anchor. Just like mine.

The reformation has begun and I am willing to be whatever part of it Father calls me to... He will.
