The Sun and the Son Shines

Yesterday was a cold wet gloomy day. I wasn't feeling well. It was uncomfortable.

Today, the sun is shining. I feel much better. I'm have things to do. Places to go. People to see.

Not to put too much of a polish on it all but sometimes when things in the natural look one way, I experience them in my body.

Then when they change I experience them as well. Most prophetic people I know are the same. We sense things physically that give us information about the natural world and people around us. I remember Star Wars. Obi Wan said, there has been a disturbance in the force when Alderon was destroyed. I didn't understand it then, but I do now. Sometimes I become physically affected when things are out of sync. I don't even know except in my body. Not every cold, every flu, every ache means something. But some do. Yesterday's did. It means I can give you a word of encouragement today.

I can't tell you what all this means but after a pretty rough day yesterday, I'm feeling better. That's good news. In the Spirit and in my body.

It seems like the world does too. Fear seems to be declining. The world didn't come to an end economically. The marketplace seems to operate in spite of the urgency to intervene with what may not have the best. The idea that WE must do something seems to be less urgent. Cooler heads didn't prevail. The Peace of God that passes all understanding did. The Sun is shining once again. So is the Son.

Fear not, all will be well. God is still on his throne. Of that I am certain. Everything else is relative.

"Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.

That passage above is Isaiah 49:15

You probably know it.

I thought of it because of two terrorfilled news stories I heard today.

One, a Mother from Maryland killed and kept two small girls in the freezer at her home. The other is the Calee affair from Florida. In a text message, the mom called Calee "That little Snot".

I don't know how a mom can carry a child for a full term, nurse that Child and then essentially forget the child. This isn't about abortion. This is about empty souls.

I won't even think of the cases of child murder we have seen in the last decade. Susan Smith comes to mind. Children about to be drown waving to their mother who they trust strapped into their child seats as she pushed the car into the lake.

In a way, the comparisom to God's view of us and a mothers of a child leaves the mother badly wanting.

God will never abandon you or call you a little snot.

Useless God

I had heard or read the a brief comment from someone that Jesus appeared to be useless. This person wasn't a Christian and for him Jesus is pretty much useless. This morning I had a sense that many Christians think Jesus is pretty much useless in real life.

There are Professing Christians who say many of the right things. Good people. Religious people.

God saved them from their sins. That's all good. BUT, other than that he is useless. He is useless to do anything else for them.

  • Healing
  • Finance
  • Protection from Evil
  • Wisdom
  • Miracles
  • Provision
  • Peace
  • Freedom from fear
  • Understanding
  • Discernment
  • Memory of Scripture
  • Courage
  • Protection from Enemies

And a hundred other things we need in our lives that many professing Christians never look to Jesus for. They look to the world, to doctors, professionals, Psychiatrists, Professors and well you see the list. Who do you look to?

Is your God useless? Mine isn't. By the way, I challenge anyone who reads this to take the list and see if in fact the Word of God promises each and every one of these things to those who ask.

It does.

Now, how about making your Jesus a little more useful. He is Able.

Lies and Fear Distort Reality

Watching the news, seeing all the analysis demonstrates a spiritual truth. Fear and worry causes bad decisions to be made. Cooler heads should be prevailing, but we are led by people of fear.

That was what put an anti christ in leadership in Nazi Germany. That's how Stalin ruled Russia.

It's the stuff the devil uses to cause all kinds of people to do all kinds of damaging things. He is the father of lies and the author of fear according to the word of God. Satan is using lies and fear right now to cause panic in God's people. I say Stop, in the name of Love.

That's not just a song from the 60's that's a prophetic declaration. We as the people of God must stop the fear. Jesus thru out time has thru angels or in person admonished people to stop the fear. If he were standing right in front of you right now, he would say exactly the same thing: FEAR NOT!!

Genesis 15:1 "After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."

Luke 5:10 "And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men."

Luke 8:50 "But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole."

Luke 12:32 "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

John 12:15 "Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt."

Revelation 1:17 "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last."
I can say to you purely on the authority of Scripture without even invoking the prophetic gift,

Thus Saith the Lord of Heaven FEAR NOT!!

Fear is False

I met with men today who are in business. All of them are fearful.

Fear is False.

What is the worst that can possibly happen?

Can you accept this if it happens?

What will you do to improve your situation if it happens?

Do not fear. Just look for ways to stop the fear and improve your situation if it all happens.

Lakeland??

I'm watching on God TV a broadcast from the tent in Lakeland. It's wonderful. I'm enjoying it very much.

BUT,

Is this a rerun. What is this.

I don't know.

I only know that it is a wonderful thing to see again. We need revival. I need revival. I can't get enough.

What the Prophetic is saying about the USA economy.

On Kelly's blog there is a review of prophetic words regarding the economy. Interesting read.

I also received the David Wilkerson Letter yesterday. He has been prophesying economic collapse for a very long time.

One theme that exists in all the prophetic utterances is that our dependence has to be on Jesus and trust in HIM and not ourselves.

This will be a tough time for many, if you are a Christian, your faith is about to be refined by fire. It's a time for faith, not fear.

This will be a wild ride. It is also essential. At the beginning of this year I believe I heard the Lord Say:
Deep examination of the corporate bought and paid for government we have today will reveal the cancer that exists in high places today. Pray for the exposure to happen without partisan politics as part of the discussion. God is about to shine his light into this dark area. Banking organizations, oil companies, pharmaceutical companies will be exposed for the ungodly influence they have had. There has been an un-Godly effort to pervert justice in the land. The father is going to do some house cleaning in this area.
..............................
2008 will be a painful difficult year for many. I do not see a direct attack from our enemies in 2008.
I believe I heard the Lord correctly.

The Prophetic Implications of Dancing with the Stars

Peggy and I like watching dancing with the stars on ABC. Good show. I like ballroom dancing. Can't do it, but like watching it. Kind of like football.

It's interesting to watch the skill levels increase in some and the transparent lack of desire on the part of others manifest every season.

There are the clowns. The ones like Penn Gillette last year and some comic this year that believe glibness and humor will get them by.

Then there are those who refuse the discipline of doing things as the trainer tells them they must to do survive and finish. Like Master P of a few years ago. There are a couple this year who believe that the natural talent and flourish will get them by. It won't.

And there are some who just can't fake it till they make it.

We root for them. But they fall away.

It's a lot like the kingdom of God.

Some receive the word of God with Gladness but it falls on shallow ground sprouts up and soon is burned away by the sun's heat. That's the clowns.

Some word falls into weedy ground and are choked out. These are the ones who rely on natural talent. When you are becoming discipled your natural talent must take a back seat.

Some become falls on rocky soil and just never take root. They are like the ones who fake it till they make it.

The ones who make it are those who listen to the master's words, who learn, who make a determined effort to develop, who devote themselves to the pursuit of excellence.

I once had a friend who asked me to disciple him. I tried. I attempted to meet with him. He never could quite make it. I decided that unless he wanted to he wouldn't get there.

When I became a christian at 30 years old I was so hungry, so desperate, that you would have had to beat me with a nail infested 2x4 to keep me away from hearing the word of God. It's still like that. I have people who think I'm marginally insane for the pursuit of God in my own life.

I don't understand a lack of Hunger in the lives of people who seem to be satisfied with things as they are. An elder at church said that people are at different levels in their journey and we need to keep from discouraging them which if we challenge them too much they might become discouraged.

I guess that's what Jesus did. HUH?

No he didn't. He pushed, pulled, poked and prodded the men who were to become his disciples and eventually apostles (those sent out in leadership to establish). He put them into situations they could learn from.

So, if it's OK with everybody, I'll push and pull and poke until you either get it or are voted out by the fans. Like dancing with the stars. You can't fake it. You can't get by on your natural ability. You must become devoted in the Pursuit of Jesus or you will fall out.

Even Jesus couldn't hold them all. In one case he lost his whole congregation. That good elder in church would have advised him to back off. Give em room to grow.

It's not like that on Dancing With the Stars and it's not like that in the Kingdom.

At least according to Jesus.

John Armstrong on Brother Yun

I gave a brief examination of the Brother Yun meeting Sunday.

John has written on it. It's worth reading.

What I find most interesting is his comment that he has received prophetic words from Brother Yun. My life has time and time again changed for the better by words of a prophet or people with a prophetic gift manifesting thru them. John's has been changed. He's alive. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The prophetic is, powerful, alive and active and cuts bone and marrow, spirit and soul asunder.

I need the word of God and so do you.

Brother Yun at Wheaton

I attended a most extraordinary event at Wheaton College last night. Brother Yun, the Heavenly man, a Chinese Christian, was the speaker.

The room was plumb full. I don't know what the numbers were, well over a thousand.

It was great. I felt right at home. This was a full on Pentecostal experience. At Wheaton.

When the prayer for people began and he began calling out things there was screaming and yelling. Of course it was a manifestation of a demon being cast out. At Wheaton.

I'm used to this. Most of those at the meeting didn't know what to make of all this. This young man who was manifesting may or may not have been dealt with in full.. That's not good. He needed ministry.

What is true in all this is there is extraordinary hunger among the students for the Supernatural. I hope they come into it.

I was encouraged. I was at home. I wish we could have ministered to those who were really hungry. Maybe another chance will come.

I commend John Armstrong for bringing this into the Wheaton Campus. God is on the move.

Angel Talk

I'm becoming monotonous. But, I know good thinking and good writing when I see it. Kelly once again nails it.

A while back Julie wrote a piece on Angels. I wasn't convinced her take was on the money.

On the other hand, Kelly's take is one I understand and embrace.

I would invite you to read both and then tell me, Angels too much, too little, or just right?

From Kelly, Realms of Glory

You need to bookmark Kelly's Site. This is much better than I could have ever said it. It sounds like my walk in so many ways. I know exactly what she means. I hope she doesn't mind, I was just going to link it, but it's so much better dircct as she wrote it. Burn on Kelly.

Your History With God

I probably will end up just rambling and blathering. I get so frustrated with people sometimes. I love God’s people. I love God’s servants, all of them, good, bad and just plain weird. BIG SIGH….

I am not very good at getting my point across, I have heard sometimes that comes with a prophetic gift, you run too far ahead to make sense sometimes. I have had too many people to count say, “Oh no! I understand Kelly now!”

My history with God doesn’t begin and end “with church”. I will probably get hate mail from my brethren now LOL!! I am in a church now and I am a big advocate of being planted where God wants you planted and to stay there until HE uproots you and transplants you.

Short history of me with God. I am compelled to get saved with no witnessing, in fact I hate witnessing like it used to be, I ran from them, um I still do…. Don’t give me that Jesus loves you gunk without anointing behind it ya know?

So I get saved by calling a christian radio station and am immediately taken under everyones wing spiritually. Even the weird guy who wanted me sexually pure, um dude, what about you? Why are you talking to a nice young thing like me about purity?

I hate church. I hate little lacy gloves. I hate the perfect faces. I hate no passion. I hate how they squelched it in me. I hate how they calmed me down, stuffed me into a dark closet spiritually that is. I hate big lacy collars. I drove a red sports car, I must not be saved.

I loved Jesus, very, very much. They thought I was weird, they counseled me to not get involved with my now dear husband of nearly 20 years, who was of a different denomination. They made me go through 6 months of classes before I could get baptised when I had a fire in me to get it done NOW!

I left church. I went home and read the word, found out about concordances and read up to 3 hours a day. I voraciously drank up the truth. I prayed fervently to the Lord. He started to speak to me. I wanted to commit myself to an insane asylum because I was hearing voices. I listened to bible teaching at work all day with my headphones and little portable radio. I read books, conservative books that left out a big chunk of relevant Christianity.

I ran into some serious problems of spiritual warfare. When I tell the story, no one can believe their ears, it was a nightmare involving my neighbors, I don’t want to talk about them anymore…

Looking for inspiration and help I went into a bookstore and I knew I needed to be spirit led. I learned that in the bible you know. So I was looking in the spirit filled christian isle. And got some books on prayer and being a spirit filled woman. Something has got to help me here.

Back then I used to feel things with my hands and things would get hot and I would pay attention to what it was. Sounds weird to me now but I think it was God starting to speak to me in a different way. You see I asked him to not talk to me while I was pregnant because it freaked me out and I didn’t know what to think. But this is how I ended up with the books I got, I laid my hands on them and the spines would get hot and I would pick up the book and check it out and if I felt to get it, I did.

The preachers I listened to were cessantionalists or what ever they call themselves, I hate that kind of man made up gobbledy gook. For you people who don’t know christianese that means someone who thinks all the miracles and gifts God gives us in the bible just stopped cold suddenly without reason. Not scriptural by the way. All the stuff in the bible happens today.

So anyway that is how I heard about baptism in the Holy Spirit and the gift of tongues. For me, I heard someone say you had to kneel by your bed and say hallelujah 50 times or so to receive the Holy Spirit. I did so. Absolutely nothing happened. I asked God, okay, what do I do. God said to me, you have Him. So I did.

I spoke in tongues in the shower, my first word being Abba, which is Daddy in Hebrew I found out later. In one week, never hearing another person speak in tongues I was doing so fluently and with different dialects so much so I believed I was speaking in relevant languages that are on the earth today, not vain babblings. The bible says that you are speaking in languages, so I believed that. I thought it was very cool, I told everyone I knew. Even my evangelical fundamentalist old friends that thought I was backslidden because I would not attend church. They don’t talk to me anymore.

I told my old high school friends, I told my family, I told everyone. No one wanted to talk with me after that…

I was on a mission to tell people about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit because it had been hidden from me. I felt cheated by the Christian Preachers that I had been hearing. Let’s just leave out most of the bible they seemed to say! ARRRGGGGHHHH!

So it was the Holy Spirit started pestering me to go to church. Ugh. He won. I was a hairdresser at the current time. I have had many occupations, jack of all trades master of none like my dad used to say. The Holy Spirit enabled me to recognize other spirit filled people immediately. I asked them where they went to church. So I went there. They had that religion thing going on also. This particular church was AOG.

I won’t even talk about that time, not relevant except in spiritual training for what not to do and how to handle rejection and leaders speaking wrong things into your life.

The Lord led me to another book about prophets. I outright rejected it. God pestered me some more, I picked it up and read it. It read my mail, I freaked out, I think I have this gift I thought to myself. I called up the people in the book and asked them where one of these so called prophets were I wanna see him for myself and judge for myself.

So on a cold sub zero January day after having an extremely bad flu for 3 days before ( the enemy ain’t creative ya know) I arrived at a church that had a so called prophet there. To beat all of that, it was a woman ( I had been tainted even not being in church!). So I walk in and the glory hits me. I was a mess the whole entire time. On top of that the lady lays hands on me and I go home and dream. I get into real trouble at the AOG church when I tell them the dream and where I went. I am now “watched” Sheesh, I had asked to be mentored so I would not get off course, but they only gave me the secretary who knew nothing of the spirit. They didn’t know what to do with me!

So now I knew there were prophets and I was probably one. SIGH…

So all this to say, I am not schooled in speech, nor writing. I do not write sermons, I do not preach. I only minister in my home church when called upon. I minister by making banners that other people wave mostly. I am not eloquent in speech whatsoever.

But I hate measured speech. Carefully articulated, politically correct, religious jargon and BS. I HATE IT! I am not ordained by man. I am not recognized by anyone, only my kids and that only mama. Um my husband knows me LOL!

Some people read this blog, must be a God thing because I have other blogs no one reads. It kinda freaks me out.

Off track again, see I prophetically told you I might ramble LOL!!

I just want to say, let God handle the people who have “lost” their faith because of fallen leaders. We are not to put our faith in man. I never have, I do have trust issues that the Lord is healing within me. But never put all your eggs in one basket.

If that is you who lost your faith, why did you lose it? Hasn’t man hurt you over and over? God is faithful and true to His Word. You read His Word, He will never let you down. No matter how low you go, He will lift you up.

That will be your history with God. And the more history you have, the more chances He has to be faithful to His Word with you, the more stable you become. Man will always fail you, offend you, attempt to make you stumble.

Put your faith in Him. It is by YOUR faith you are healed, your faith in Jesus. Those people from Lakeland that did get healed, they had the faith in God that it takes to get healed. Not faith in a man.

Luke 17:19
Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Luke 18:42
Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”

Acts 3:16
And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Hebrew 11

6But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

So the body received a hard thing by Todd Bentley’s fall. Perhaps it was a God thing. It certainly shows you, who you had your faith in.

Now don’t get me wrong, there were many of us, me included that had a bit of a tiff over this. Mine mostly regretting what could have been, seeing such potential in God. But God reminded me the end of the story is not written as of yet!

Get your eyes off of man. Get out of your comfortable place. Tackle the hard things. You won’t move forward if you don’t, you’ll stay right where you are. And if your gaze is fixed on the things of this world, or in man, you are going to be sorely disappointed.

The World is shaking right now and all the people with it, with the economy, election and financial garbage going on. Listen, money is not the end all be all. It’s a hard lesson to learn. Sure we need enough to not make life so miserable but do we need enough for Rolex watches and the latest designer shoes? How about those fancy suits.

God wants us to live a life of abundance and freedom. The problem is the way to life is death. Give up your hold on your security blanket, hand it over to God, don’t make Him wrench it from your cold dead hands!

I die daily it seems and this past season was not only one of pruning for me but death. Lot’s of death. But God is raising a new thing from the ashes of the past season.

Let him resurrect your faith. Let Him write your history in God for you this day.

Does God want you to be Happy?

A good sermon by Pastor Phil today. He began by asking the question above.

I knew the answer.

NO.

God never intended that you should live in happiness at all times. He warns that there will be trouble. There will be persecution. There will be pain. And you will die.

God does intend that you will have JOY in every circumstance.

It was a good sermon and I will link it when it comes available. It's worth a listen.

The confession of St Patrick reads like a 21st century radical pentecostal

I admire the Catholic Church. Not for it's religion. For it's heritage. Part of which is the heritage.

I have said that in many ways when it comes to signs, wonders, miracles, visions, revelations and angelic visitations I have much more in common with Catholics than most main line denominations.

Read the confession of St. Patrick. It is stirring and reminds us all of the power of the supernatural. We need it again. Come Lord Jesus.

The 153 Fish and the NET didn't break

Tonight at the house of Prayer I pondered the 153 fish in the Bible that Peter and the fellows caught after Jesus came to them.

Why 153?

This guy asks the same question.

Currently there are 194 countries on the face of the earth. But how many nations? Nations are ethnos. A people. I submit that Canada and the USA are a people. One nation.

Germany and Austria and probably Switzerland are a people.

If you sort the countries by people, do you come up with 153.

I don't know, but I believe there may be something to this. What's even more important is the whole business of unbroken net. Does this mean that there will be a unified body of Christ to bring in the harvest??

It's worth thinking about.

12 Reasons Why Babies are NOT Born in Origional Sin - They Are Sinless at Birth

The following Scriptural arguments are why I am of the conclusion that we are born sinless, aborted babies are sinless, stillborn babies are sinless, children that die in the incubator are sinless and from the time of conception, even embryo's that are human and God has a plan for are sinless even if they are destroyed.

There are KEY verses those who teach that we are born with original sin use to convince people of the NEED for infant baptism. I have already confessed that as a means of preservation (Salvation) to the time of being forgiven and born again it is a valid practice, perhaps not preferable, but valid.

These verses the proponents of Original Sin use are:

(Psalm 51:5) "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me." This is from a Psalm of David after his sin with Bathsheba. It deals with the sin of an adult, and shows the repentance of an adult (vs. 10-13). David does not say he was a "sinner baby" but rather that his mother conceived him in sin. Read it again and see! David was born into a sinful world. Sin was all around him from birth, so he was 'brought forth in iniquity." The Jewish writers who wrote of this Psalm say the same thing.; David is saying that he was born into a sinful environment.

(Psalm 58:3) "The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth." First, note that if these people were born astray then they could not "go astray from birth." Infants are born into a sinful world with their eyes and ears wide open. They are so inquisitive, beginning to learn immediately through taste, touch, sound, sight and smell. They are watching, and they see evil all around them constantly from birth. They may not know it is evil yet, but it is there and it does influence them. The clincher is this: the ones going astray speak lies, so the going astray has to be accomplished, at the very least, only after the person has learned to speak!

(Ephesians 2:3) "Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest." What made these people "children of wrath"? Was it something they inherited or something they had done? Verses 1 and 2 help us to answer that question. "And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world..." They were "by nature" what they were. "Nature" here does not refer to constitutional character but rather to habit... sin became natural, or we sometimes say, "second nature" to them by their long and diligent practice of it.

On the other hand, there are a number of clear evidences that we are born sinless and until we sin are unaccusable by the father of lies and the accuser of the Brethren.

1. James 1:14-15.
This tells us how sin is conceived. How did Adam sin differently than man today? He didn't. Was Adam tempted? Yes, and so is man now. If Adam wasn't created in sin, then how did he sin? Just like man today. We don't sin because of Adam, for the simple reason that Adam couldn't hold anyone else accountable for his actions. Sin is action and cannot be passed on.

2. Guilt & Consequences.
If a person does not see the difference between the two, then it will be impossible to see the truth. When Cain killed Abel (Gen. 4), who suffered the consequences? Both did. Cain was cursed by God, and Abel lost his life. Who suffered the guilt? Cain did. It was Cain that God was upset with. Abel wasn't guilty for Cain's actions. Now, if someone thinks that whenever a person suffers consequences that that automatically means they are guilty, then there is a failure to grasp the difference between the two words.

3. Ezekiel 18:1-4,20. Here we are told clearly that the son shall not bear the guilt of his father. A question that comes to mind is, did Cain bear the guilt of his father, Adam? According to the word of God., the answer is no. Cain was guilty for his own wrong doing.

4. Jeremiah 19:4-5. Parents were offering their children to a false god. In this text, the children are called "innocent". Innocent is exactly what infants are. If they were born in sin, they certainly could not, and would not, have been called innocent.

5. Matthew 18:1-3. Jesus informed his listeners that man needs to be converted like a little child to enter the kingdom of heaven. Being justified is to be Without fault, and that is the state of children, which is what our Lord was teaching. Would Jesus command men to be like poor depraved, wicked, haters of God, to enter heaven? No.

6. I Corinthians 14:20. The apostle Paul wanted saints to be in malice like babes. Children are pure and guiltless, which is why Paul used them as an example. If not, why use a child? What is there about a child that is worth imitating? Certainly it isn't their "depraved nature"! It's because they are not born in sin.

7. Romans 7:9. The apostle Paul was born under Jewish law (Phil. 3:5). Yet, where there is no law there can be no sin (Rom 4: 14). There was a time when Paul was "alive with out law". Law was always there, so when could he have been without law? It was when he was not accountable to the law as a child. If not, when was Paul alive without law?

8. 2 Corinthians 5:10-11. There is going to be a judgment day. On that occasion man will give account to the things done. whether good or bad. Man will be judged individually (Rom 14: 12). Now, how can an infant be judged for the things done in the body, good or bad? Remember, men are not judged for the actions of someone else. Just what sins could an infant be guilty of?

9. 2 Samuel 12:23. When David"s child became sick and die - he said that the child
cannot come to him, but he can go to where the child is. There is an assurance that
infants are not born depraved.

10. I John 3:4.
Knowing full well that sin is transgression of law, we know that there cannot possibly be any violation of law committed by a baby. If so, what sin? We have already shown from the scriptures that man cannot inherit the sin of another. To know what sin is, is to know whether children are born in sin.

11. Romans 5:12. This verse clearly shows why all men are guilty, because "all sinned".. This is the very point to the sinlessness of an infant. It does not due justice to read part of a verse, without reading it all.

12. No verse teaching man is born in sin.
We have noticed the purity of children. Jesus demanded the all men become like little children. There is difficulty in finding a text to prove one is born in sin, especially when the idea conflicts with so many passages of scripture.

I have searched the scriptures and intentionally ignored doctrines of men to see if I can uncover the truth about these things. I think I have. First, there is every evidence that Man's names are written in the Lambs book of Life and are blotted out from rebellion against God and the accusation of the Devil.

Plus, look at how many times people are ordained from the Mothers womb. John, Jeremiah, Isaiah and Jesus.

One last thought, Jesus was Born and died Sinless. Was he forgiven? Did he ever need forgiving? Was he true man in every way? If he was forgiven, then for WHAT? Jesus was born as every child is born, sinless and pure. If it were otherwise he would have not been man and his sacrificial death would have been a blemished lamb and unsuitable for the full remission of our sins.

Think about it.

Wall Street isn't Main Street

I am always aware when fear seems to prevail over faith. Right now all the news you can consume has mostly to do with promoting fear.

This whole debacle you see on Wall Street, as important as it is to so many people isn't about your life. Yes, if you have a great deal of money in the market you have been hurt.

I inquired of the Lord what this all means to the Christian living his or her life up and down the street and what encouragement as a Prophet I could be.

Here's what I have heard the Lord say:
This is a cleansing, a removal of idols, a reformation of a failed system.
What happens in the spiritual, is being reflected in the natural: tearing down huge institutions that try to control events, profit from them, and become bloated with leadership. Like much of the church of today is happening on Wall Street.
The attempts to save these institutions are for the most part wasted efforts, appears to help for a little while, but ultimately the weight of failure takes them down.

The reality in the spirit is your spiritual life is not dependant on if the church or denomination of which you are a part does or does not do whatever seems to be right in their own eyes. If a pastor or priest fails you may be hurt but not harmed.

The same is the reality of your economic life. If all the Wall Street firms went bust tomorrow your life would go on. Yes, short credit would hurt, but in the end this is not about Wall Street for you, this is about Main Street.

I think of a Blogger acquaintance who lives on a farm in North Dakota. She is not affected in the end by what happens to Merrill Lynch or AIG. Her life will go on. She will not miss meals or live in fear because of all this.

Nor should you.

The admonition of Jesus still holds. Fear Not.

Kicking out the Props

If you wonder what God is doing, what he's up to, why things seem to be going wrong all over the world with hurricanes and Wall Street collapses:

He's kicking out all the props. Anything that comes between Him and You. He is seeing to it that our dependence is solely on him.

This has always been his plan. It hasn't changed.

As you see him strip away everything that hinders love, don't ask why, seek Him first and all these other things will be added unto you.

God's Joy is Being Heard by YOU

I received a word last night regarding the joy of the Lord. Not OUR joy. He joys over us with singing.

What makes Him sing with joy?

It is in part our worship. It is our passion. It is in part our study. It is in part our prayer to him.

BUT,

I began to think about what it is that gives him great joy....I believe I heard the voice of God say to me, "I love that you love me enough to listen to me, When you do I am moved with great Joy over you and I am so satisfied in you".

It's like the relationship we have with a loved one. Sometimes the best thing we can do is not to praise the, not to talk to them, but to LISTEN TO THEM.

The Father is the same way. He want's to be heard.

He wants to speak to us thru his word, thru his prophets, thru his preaching.

On Sunday Pastor Phil engaged in some prophetic preaching. It's a long list of God saying I AM.

That's what God wants to have us to hear in our Spirit. How much he loves us. How sufficient he is. How HE IS.

And then when we have heard, OBEY.

Not just hearers but doers of the word as well.

That's the heart of GOD in Joy over YOU and ME.

Sarah Palin may well be an Esther

I was in church last night and Prophet Makan stood to proclaim two things, one was that Sarah Palin may be an Esther. We don't know yet.

And that a spiritual pall over the state of Iowa is about to be broken. The Spirit of God is going to invade Iowa. I believe it.

I know this. God's purposes in exposing evil will require principalities and powers being lifted from whole territories. Some of them are political. Some of them are media.

The exposure of evil intention must come to the full. Even good people are being taken in and even selling themselves to the deception. This is sad and can only result in shipwreck.

When good people sell their souls for a political cause and sin boldly to do so it causes a rift in the spirit. That is happening now.
