Buried under the Snow

This morning we received a pretty good shot of snow. Inches. Then the wind is going to blow.

I got an impression that this is a picture of our recent economic conditions in the world. We just came thru a summer, it seemed like we would live in summer forever.

Then the cold came, then snow, then blizzard. It seems like it will never end. That the cold, snow and wind would never end.

It is going to take a wind, a good sized wind and sun and heat to dissipate the overburden of the snow.

This is going to be a tough thaw, things will be better afterwards, the sun will shine again, things will grow.

It's going to be a long cold spring. It is already.
