THE ONLY JESUS LIFESTYLE

There is bad news every day. My friend Brenda Craig wrote something that really speaks to this. We worry and fret about scary ghosts and vapors:

Today, no matter what you feel, no matter what the facts on the ground look like... remember the TRUTH which is Jesus & all the promises of the Word.... don't be blown about by every wind of feeling & seeing... be quick to repent even if in a situation you feel you aren't wrong... allow no fear to conceive in your heart today when you hear the dire news forecast. Hope in Him, live in Him, live in the secret place... amen and amen

I know that she is talking in part about a hurricane forecast for her part of the world. But there is so much bad news that is trying to rob your peace. We must know what to do with this. Not some Pollyanna approach. Not hiding our head in the sand.

We must be willing to see the dangers and those who scream them, then look to HIM and see the TRUTH.

Drudge Report will scream bad news. I read it. But I live in another place and am NOT disturbed by seemingly bad news. It seems like an antichrist spirit is more easily disturbed by bad news. It's easy to be disturbed by bad news when we take our eyes off JESUS.

Today's bad news includes:

• A superbug from India
• Bankrupt America
• Iran Preparing for war with the USA
• Global Heat Global Cool
• Markets UP, Markets DOWN

----on and on it goes.

During the Gulf Oil spill there were DIRE reports of multiple horrors. None of which have or will come to pass. One of the reasons I have come to grips with the Kingdom Eschatology is the fact that nearly ALL the bad news prophecies in the Bible have already been fulfilled. All that's left now are the Glorious ones. JESUS.

AND, in our personal lives sometimes we live in bad news. Bills not paid, not enough, family mess, health issues, rejection, loneliness.

There is an answer. JESUS.

In the end everything you ever had or wanted to have will be given away, sold at auction or thrown in the dumpster. It happens to the body you buff up, workout, put makeup on, take to the doctor, get liposuction on, try to have a great complexion or in my case, some hair.

Your body will be thrown in a dumpster. We call it the grave, or a crematorium. POOF. That body you worked so hard on is GONE. All the fear you had of lack, what to wear, what to eat will be over.

This sad story of a couple who were hoarders who now have nothing after the wife in the couple was smothered by the stuff they were hoarding.


THE PROPHETIC WORD:

The world will try to smother you, bury you, confuse you, discourage you, cause you to fear. Yet, I have not JUST OVERCOME the world, I am the KING of any worldly king. I am LORD over anything that tries to lord over you. I am all you will ever need. IF you will live in ME all fear will be gone. I don't even know fear. Of what should I ever be afraid. I want YOU to be as afraid of the things the world will try to inflict on you as I am. I never am afraid, intimidated, feeling tense, sensing lack. I am all in all in who I AM. I can be your all in all as you find yourself in ME. Come, my YOKE is easy, and you won't even know a burden because I CARRY IT.
