Prophets need Prophets

I know people who do not understand the prophetic think that if a person says he needs to hear the prophetic, that he is somehow weak. That is far from the truth.

In fact, when someone who considers themselves a prophet says that they don't need to hear from other prophets, I question the gift of prophecy in their lives. As a prophet, I desperately desire, need to hear what the spirit of God is saying. That's why sometimes the most electric times are when I am with another man or woman who flows in the prophetic freely.

More important, I need prophetic watchmen on the wall around me. Sometime they may have a word of warning that could just save my life.

What brings this up? Bill Johnson, a prophet and a great man of God was warned out of the clear blue by Prophet Bob Jones. Bob told Pastor Johnson that something was wrong, that he should get checked out by a physician.

Bill was feeling OK but just to be sure, he went to see the doc. Sure enough. Well, you can read the whole story here. I'll bet Bill Johnson as prophetic as he is, is really happy that he has a Prophet for a Friend who will watch on the wall for him.

Prophets need other prophets and if they think they don't, they will fall.....

Like everybody else, prophets need the clear revealed Word of God from Genesis to revelation.

Yes we do, but, then, what in the heck was Paul talking about in 1 Corinthians 14, 12 and in 1 Thess 5:20? HMMMM?

What did it mean in 2 Chronicles 20:20 and what did that Agabus do when he spoke to Paul about going to Jerusalem in Acts 21.

Were they quoting scripture? Which. I don't believe dear reader you grasp prophecy at all.

I think this lack of understanding of the Prophetic is what is wrong with the Church today. No life, no vision, no blood. Breath Prophesy. It's the same thing. The Church is strangled for a lack of Oxygen.
