Molestation of the Body of Christ

A year ago in a conversation with a man who was involved sexually with a very young woman outside marriage, the pastor said to the man "How could you do this to your sister in Christ"?

This was in a church setting.

It happens. He's in jail now.

I bring that up because of some voiced concerns I have over a man who is an anointed minister of the Gospel getting people under his influence involved in an Multi Level Marketing scheme, this morning the thought that sometimes what seems to be a good business venture shared with friends crosses over to become molestation of the Body of Christ. This is that.

Of course, people should be careful, discerning, wise. Not all are. Particularly when a gifted anointed man or woman of God says with the same confidence as thus saith the Lord that you should consider getting into this business.

Some can't discern the difference.

The part that is most disturbing to the Spirit of God is that this damages and sometimes destroys relationships as the whole Ponzi unravels.

Just as the man fornicating with the young woman in the church is body molestation, this is like unto that.

I encountered some network marketing type of stuff in the church I attended way back. Alternative vitamins, weight loss stuff, colon cleansers, weird laundry detergent replacements. Many of the people involved criticized people's spirituality and obedience to God for not buying into all of it. Six months later, of course, none of these miracle products were ever heard from again and those involved moved on to other things. Yeah, it did some damage to people.

And many will come in the Name of Christ...

and to some Jesus will say, "I never knew you."

Be careful what and with who you become intimate with.

Strive rather to KNOW Christ, know HIM and HIM alone. Intimately. When you KNOW, (Yada & Ginosko)HIM the real, then what is brass is easier to spot.

All things are lawful to me, but not all things are expedient.

Php 2:1 If you've gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care--
Php 2:2 then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends.
Php 2:3 Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead.
Php 2:4 Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.

No wonder Jesus said the WHOLE of the Law would be fulfilled if we could just get the Love Walk right!

Selah.
