Today we drove thru some very bad weather to go to be with family this Christmas. It was truly difficult. There were 26 cars in the ditch between the Illinois Wisconsin state line on I 90. Ice slush.
Sometimes staying with the crowd seems safe but isn't. You can get pushed off the straight and narrow or led into danger by the crowd.
I like to leave some room when I'm on the way so I can be guided without other influence.
Same in life.
