You shall not despise, dishonor, speak evil, and cause disrepute either to your spiritual father who gave you birth or to the church where you were born again; but to honor them.
They were flawed, clumsy and sometimes a little off. But they are your fathers in the faith. Honor them like your Fleshly parents; Who are flawed as well.
Sure, you will most likely leave home, but God is not pleased with those who speak evil of those who were used by the Holy Ghost to bring you to Himself.
