The Prophetic as Destiny

Friday night I was in Joliet on business. I needed gas. Pulled into a Speedway station. It's in a predominately black area. At least I was the only white person in sight. I was filling gas when I noticed a young man, black, picking up garbage, emptying out the garbage cans. He was being diligent in his work. Trying to make this place look good.

I would make his age mid twenties. All of a sudden, among people filling gas all around, without any understanding of what I was doing I yelled out to the young man, "Are you the manager of this store?" He said no. Then Boldness came over me. I announced to him and anyone else who was listening to the sound of my voice, "YOU WILL BE".

I could see, he was startled at my words. Then he stopped. Looked at me, Smiled big, gave me two thumbs up and with a spring in his step walked back into the store.

That's it. 15 seconds on the way to destiny.

Why did I do that? Because I was being obedient. I opened my mouth and the Lord filled it. Amazing. I didn't think, I just spoke as he gave me the utterance.

And, a destiny was pronounced. I have no idea how this will play out. I do know this, God is as good as his word and he didn't have me yelling to some guy I didn't know about something not my business for no reason at all.

That young man WILL be the manager of that station and who knows what else after that.

The word of Prophecy is the word of Destiny. And for that I am thankful.
