Flunking the 1 Corinthians 13 test

I had a word of encouragement, prophetically for a leader in our denomination yesterday. He received it with Joy.

That's what is supposed to happen.

Supposed to, but last weekend after seeing a national prophet brutalize people from the platform, I wondered why so few prophets understand the mandate of 1 Corinthians 13.

1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

A Lack of Love makes a prophet nothing.
