Unawares

The almost insurmountable fact, as Mr. Merrill Jenkins once noted, is that "Those unaware are unaware of being unaware." Perhaps this explains why they stand where they do today, positioned against all of the wonderful new covenant truths that the apostles and prophets labored so long and hard to bring to our attention. Undoubtedly they well knew the insurmountable reality that they faced to try and convince the rigid human mind to pay very close attention to the right things, instead of drifting off with just any strange teacher who presents himself with many of the wrong things. But a great void and vacuum has created a serious situation in christendom, and we stumble around like blind men searching in the dark, because the good guidance of that highly acclaimed straight way has not really been found.

Our modern church leaders need to realize that the straight and narrow way seriously needs their attention. Then they would realize that the temporal minded earthly kingdom leaves much to be desired, and the waiting church needs more spiritual sustenance and much less of the earthly. The stuff of any future revival is not found in any earthly kingdom, but it is found in the word of God, spoken and revealed. Only, the church has been missing it! It's a terrible thing to have to say, but it is so true!

Some would then counter that those of us who would let heaven fill our thoughts are "no earthly good anyway."

When that happens Heaven walks right by and they are UNAWARE.

Provision means Partnership

I am not feeling like I hold up my end of the board. Maybe for right now, in this time, I need Him to carry me....

He will.

Burden of the Prophetic - I don't want to know

Every prophetic person I know suffers from an "I don't want to know" syndrome. Sometimes I just look at a person and I know far more than I wanted to know. Sometimes a person comes up before me in the Spirit and I know things about them I didn't want to know.

A man I love a great deal, who is compassionate and loving, a minister, has a hidden problem. He is filled with anger at someone who disappointed him, slighted him, hurt him. He is feeling rage in his inner being. Rage has not been his friend in the past. It cost him greatly.

I sense the rage and anger so deeply it causes me to shake. I tried to give him encouragement to deal with this, to let him know the Father knows and is concerned. I know that he Loves this Precious man too much to let him carry this burden alone. If he would deal with it by being transparent with those who love him, he would be made whole. I tried to give him this word, but he's running from God right now. This can't come out OK unless it is dealt with.

Sometimes the burden of the Prophetic is too much to bear.

Prophecy from Prophet Brad Schleuter

This Prophecy given last night at the IHOP. It's worth hearing. I have known Prophet Brad for a long time. He is a good and accurate prophet. This is the word of God to you Today:

The door is finally open all the way.

You are moving through it into the future I have promised. Trust me with ll of it, including the details and the timing. What I am putting together for you is far More than you could imagine. You know that it is from me and you will understand even more so, I have been preparing it for this time of your life. I will coincide with what I am doing throughout the earth. I am linking you with many nets that will be drawing in the catch of this season. You are a distinct part of the many things I am doing. you will share in the fruits of your own labor, as well as in that of others.

You have been one of the means for carrying out my ongoing purposes for my people. I have told you to watch and wait for what I will be doing. Soon you will see it happening. I am increasing your anointing for the greater works you will be doing in my name. There is much yet to come, do do not lose heart! I am building your expectations so that when it comes you will be able to move with it. I will satisfy your needs and even more, for you have father who loves you. Your weaknesses and shortcomings are opportunities for more of my input.

Radical change will be the order of the day for the rest of your days. My hope will not disappoint your! Trust me and obey my Spirit in you! He does abide with you an he will remain as long as he can command. It is a tribute to your faith that he is there in the first place. Your believed and so your received. Truth and honesty are central to my practices. What other do is not your concern for yo are responsible for you YOU respond to my directions. Your consideration of them is good for it is a basis for your prayers. Leave them to me and move ahead in what I have given you. I will confirm what I reveal to you so you can freely act on it.

Praying in a Strong Tongue

A few days ago during a meeting where the Holy Ghost really fell, Pastor Corey said, "Pray, Pray in a STRONG TONGUE". What does that mean?

It's not just louder although it can be.
It's not faster although it could be.
It's intense, sharp, concentrated, aggressive, passionate, fervent, effective, intentional, non casual.

It's also a time when as a group we all pray in a Strong Tongue there is a roar. A roar I have read about. A roar I enjoy. It's a wonderful sound. Sometimes when everyone prays in tongues in a soft way it's like a ripple that flows across a room there is peace. Sometimes when we all sing in the Spirit there is a flow of joy and peace that is beyond understanding.

But sometimes when we all pray in a STRONG TONGUE there is a Lion that Roars. Here's what it was described as by John the Revelator:

Revelation 14:2
Then I heard a sound from heaven like that of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The sound I heard was like harpists playing on their harps.

The Father says, "I have given you a Resurrection Spirit"

It's never been a doubt. The devil wants to kill you. To destroy you. To put you under. To cause you loss. To hinder your efforts.

He's out to get you, make no mistake.

This morning as I was pondering the idea that he thinks he can drive you over the cliff to ruin forever is so wrong in the light of the empty tomb it's almost laughable.

There is a power Spirit available to you, it's in you, it's who you are, it's a Resurrection Spirit. When you have been beaten, scourged, hung out to dry, humiliated and left for dead, Sunday is coming just around the corner. You are about to experience new life.

And, like the cross, what the devil thought he was doing for evil, God meant for Your Good.

Thank God for his Resurrection Spirit. I might look like I'm down but.......Sunday's coming.

The EASE of the Anointing by the Spirit of God

Last night at Church the word of the Lord came. Ease. There is an easiness when you know you are in the purpose and center of God's will. When a step of faith is taken. When against all Odds you know that God is calling you to do certain things.

My yoke is Easy Jesus said. It really is. His anointing fills in the gaps of I don't think I can to - I CAN do all things thru the anointed one and his anointing that has settled on ME. I CAN - and YES.

That's all HE needed to hear. Obedience is better than sacrifice and far more powerful than any circumstance that might cause one to fall back.

In the Spirit....It is Done. It is being Done. It Will be Done. And in the eternal, it's already Done.

Going Out and Coming In - Blessed

Psalm 121:8
The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forever.
NASB

I believe I heard the Lord say that in these days some will be going out because of the economic situation, others will be coming in. No matter which way you go, you will be blessed.

It's time to quit thinking that no change, no upheaval, no risk, no up, no down, that somehow that represents a normal GOD is supposed to bless.

It looks to me that he blesses Going and Coming. Some will come, some will go. HE still blesses.

So, boldly go, and boldly come. Be Blessed.

Timid about the Truth of the Gospel

Three times in the last two weeks I have been confronted face to face with a person who believes they are a Christian. Good person. Go to church three four times a year. Throw a few bucks in the plate.

And that everyone is going to heaven. All paths lead to God. Jesus sacrifice is pretty neutral to them.

The one that got me was from a dying man who said, I believe in our creator and then we have to create him in our image. That's the God I believe in.

I think we have forgotten how to preach about the eternal loss in Hell for those who don't Trust Jesus.

We have become Timid.

I'm feeling a boldness. Probably not a popular boldness. But we have too much timidity to not offend. Maybe it's time to offend the sinners around us and tell them the truth.

Without Jesus you are going to spend eternity in Hell without hope.

GET TO KNOW THE VOICE OF GOD

God wants us to know that no matter how difficult things may get for us, he will sustain all who trust in him—by the power of his still, small voice, speaking to our inner man daily.

This is confirmed by the prophet Isaiah: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21). You have to understand, Isaiah delivered this word to Israel in the very worst of times. The nation was under judgment, in absolute ruin, with everything breaking down. And so Isaiah told Israel’s leaders, “Turn to the Lord now! He wants to give you a word of direction—to speak to you, saying, ‘Go this way, go that way, here’s the way…’” But they wouldn’t listen. They decided they would turn to Egypt to deliver them! They thought they could rely on the Egyptians’ chariots, horses and supplies to see them through.

Yet, God did not send all of his judgment on Israel at that point. Rather, he decided to wait patiently until the bottom fell out of every plan. He said, “While they’re running around scheming how to survive, I’ll wait. I want to show them my mercy, in spite of their wickedness!” (v. 18). Sure enough, everything failed, and things only got worse for the nation. Finally, when all their schemes had fallen through, God told the people, “Now, let me take over! Open your ears, and I will speak to you. I know the way out, and I will direct you. I want to guide your every move, to the right and to the left, to deliver you. I’ll lead you by my voice—speaking to you, telling you what to do, down to the last detail!”

What matters—what’s vitally important—is that you get to know the voice of God. He is still speaking. He made it clear, “My sheep know my voice.” There are many voices in the world today—loud, demanding voices. But there is that still, small voice of the Lord that can be known and heard by all who trust what Jesus said.

The Hill in the Distance

Last night the single biggest question I was asked was, "What should I do (with my money, with my job, with my life).

The answer is simple. Believe God has something wonderful over the next hill, the one you may not even yet see clearly and take another step of faith. Don't stop. Don't quit. Don't be discourage. Keep on walking, face forward, and another step on the walk of Faith.

If you come over the hill and it's not what you hoped, you haven't yet gone far enough. Take another step, it's there, it's waiting. You have to walk it out however, God's not going to bring that mountain to you, you have to go to it.

What is good news is as you walk, as I walk, he will give us supernatural strategies to overcome natural hindrances, always a sure trump. God's faithfulness is never in question, ours is.

The Last Thing I will say

In the word I bring tonight the last thing I will say is:

Don't look back, Sodom is in flames, fire of judgment falling from heaven, it's gone. If you look back you will turn into a spiritual pillar of salt, ineffective, frozen, worthless. Look forward to what is next, that's all there is. You can't go back to "Normal". Normal is gone forever. Look to the future, on the other side of that hill is a future you can't see, but it is filled with opprotunity that will be revealed to you by the Father as you need to know.

Hated of All Men - Particulalry "Christians"

I was shocked when I decided to look up on line the meaning of NAR. New Apostolic Reformation. I had heard about what bad folks they were. Turns out I am one.

The vile and venom against this move of God, third wave, is amazing to me. Out and out hatred. Yes there is some from the world as secular criticism. I expect that. What astounds me is the intensity of hatred (not anger, not disagreement - hatred) exhibited by so called Christians.

Talk about deception by the enemy. I have seen it in Christians before, I have prophesied that Evangelicals will be easily deceived when the enemy raises his head. That's all true. This is really over the top.

This morning when I was half awake I found myself questioning God what this all means. Why the hatred. Why.....?

He said, "They hated me, they still hate me, they will hate you for my names sake. I called you to be a member of the tribe on earth you are part of, even if you are despised and hated for it you will be loved by ME".

A week ago I wasn't even aware of this label New Apostolic Reformers. I guess I lived in ignorance. I wear it proudly.

What's so sad to me is how many people on the list that the haters of the new apostolic and prophetic move identify as villains are friends of mine. People I know. People I embrace. I have to say to those who hate me and those people who are part of this third wave that I care about, "depart from me, I never knew you".

Silence

I have too much noise. I'm on demand. Like a musician who MUST have a piece of music, anointed music, ready to go by Sunday Morning.

That's how I'm feeling. I have a tune, it's a good one, I have some of the lyrics. I just want the touch of God on it, big. Otherwise why sing at all?

Of course, this isn't about music at all. This is about the prophetic. The only way to hear is to be quiet. Sometimes it's so hard to do. Like composing at a rock concert. Music all around and none in your head (or spirit).

For the Spirit
of the Lord says, the raven shall no longer feed the eagle. Even as
the raven fed Elijah so the raven has feed the eagle (America). Given
it energy but stolen from it its dignity so I’m speaking tonight of
this nation says the spirit of the lord. They have said you’ll never
be free from the raven who brings you your energy, brings you your
sustenance but god says the raven’s time has come to an end. The time
of the raven has come to an end. The spirit of God says they have
leeched off you, they have sucked from you your dignity. Now they say
look at them as they have no economy, look at them as they have entered
a time of famine, shall they relay upon us? God says NO! The time of
the raven has come to an end. America three new storehouses have
opened up. Three new storehouses have opened up. Hear the voice of
God as He cries out to you tonight. The nation shall hear this Word,
they say what is this of the raven? The raven is an omnivorous bird
that steals from its own, that feeds off dead bodies, takes from those
of their own kind. For God says the raven has taken from you, it has
plucked from your death, it has won victories because of your death.
The Spirit of the Lord says hear tonight as the prophetic voice comes
and the secrets of God are made known, three storehouses have opened up
for this nation, they were locked and they have been locked since the
time of Daniel says the Lord. They have been locked since the time of
Daniel but now God says I’ve given the keys to the angels of the Lord.
For even as Elijah said to his servant as they were surrounded by the
army, those that are with us are far greater than those who are against
us. So the Spirit of the Lord says, God that is with you is greater
than those who are against you. Three new storehouses have opened up
for this nation. God says when they open up your vats shall flow with
new wine and oil. Your storehouses shall be filled with wheat. You
will eat in plenty and I the Lord your God am in the midst of you and
because of that America shall not be brought to shame but I will place
you in a place of honor.



Pray says the
Spirit of God. Pray. Why have I sent My prophet to Nashville,
because there are those that have stood firm that the Lord has not
forsaken us, the Lord is not going to judge us. There are prophets
standing in the midst of the warriors that understand the secrets of
the Most High God. For God will do nothing until He shares His secrets
with His servants the prophets. God says the three storehouses that
are about to open will wipe the slate and there shall be a key that I
will give. The governors of this country shall say this cannot be.
The corruption shall suddenly be brought to the fore, for God says I’m
about to expose and even as there will be three storehouses there will
be three corruptions that I will expose. The Spirit of the Lord says
there shall be a great wind that will blow that shall come upon the
midst of this nation. This wind that shall blow, the people shall say
we’ve never had a wind like this before, the Spirit of God says this
shall not be wind of destruction but this shall be wind as a sign that
comes from the Spirit because the Lord is in the wind says God.



You’re not in
trouble, they’re telling you you’re in trouble. God has a plan for
this nation. There is a spirit of resilience that is upon the people
of God. The resilience that I speak about is the ability to recover
rapidly. There’s a rapid recovery that is taking place. You better
hear the voice of the Lord because God says if you hear it and you
believe it and speak it out I will bring it upon your house even as I
brought it upon the woman at Zaraphat says the Lord. The three
corruptions that I will bring out will mark a period in America’s
history. They will say even because of that something great happened.
Oh North wind would you blow and even South wind would you blow? For
our desire is the warmth of the South but God says the North wind which
is cold comes upon the garden and his people to bring forth the sweet
spices and the sweet scents and aromas this is what is happening for do
not despise the North wind for this shall blow and it shall come and
the people shall say alas we are doomed but God says NO for out of this
pain I will being great, great joy. Even as I spoke of Job, my
servant, so your latter shall be greater than your former. Even as I
send the former rain so I will send the latter rain as well. The
latter rain that comes shall bring the portion you have prayed for, the
portion that Lou Engle has prayed for, the portion that The Call has
prayed for, the portion that men and women have cried out to God – I
have not turned My ear from you. Therefore America the North wind
comes to blow upon the garden of this nation and because you have
called I will bring forth a new aroma and a new era and My church shall
rise up into victory.

For such a time as this

You are not an accident. You are not useless. You were destined by God to live here and now in this time to accomplish his purposes in HIM.

The economy, the fear, the desperation, the concern all need the people of God to minister soothing oil and wine in the wounds of His people and those who will become His.

If you and I do not take our place in this time, HE will raise up another. Even though you and I will go to heaven, we will have missed the great mission he placed in us strategically at this time.

So, step up and take dominion over the world system, the Hamans who would destroy HIS people. God is on the move. He has shown me he is dividing his people from the world. We are to take our place as the head and not the tail.

Destiny - but alone in HIM.

I'm not moved by what I see, I'm not moved by what I hear

I'm just moved by the mighty word of God.

Smith Wigglesworth said that. I sometimes ask for just some of the anointing that great man had.

Greg Dickow has been publishing every day his fast from wrong thinking. The one today made me think he might be channeling Smith Wigglesworth. OH, I KNOW. I don't believe in Channelling except by the power of the Holy Spirit in revelation when we are able to say what God says.

Here's what brother Dickow said in his daily message: It's worth reading

"The things around me are really getting to me."

We don’t have to be moved by the world around us. There is something greater working in us!

1. Reject the belief that your emotions and behavior are controlled by the events in your life. Our emotions and our lives are transformed, changed and shaped by the ‘renewing of our mind (Romans 12:2). Change your thoughts, and your emotions will follow.

2. The quality of your life is not determined by what happens around you; but what happens within you. Proverbs 4:20 says, “Watch over your heart with all diligence; for out of it flow the issues of life.”

3. Believe in the power within. Ephesians 3:20 - See: God is able to do above all we ask or think BASED ON THE POWER THAT WORKS WITHIN US. 1 John 4:4 says, "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world."

4. Learn to use affliction to YOUR ADVANTAGE.
2 Corinthians 4:17 says, “It (the momentary affliction) produces an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.”

5. How? It ONLY works “WHILE WE LOOK NOT AT THE THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN, BUT AT THE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN.” That’s the Word of God.

6. Change your focus. When you look through a viewfinder of a camera, you can place the focus on a number of different objects. It's UP TO YOU, the VIEWER. In the same way, we need to focus on WHAT GOD SAYS, and not on any of the things even if they may seem closer to the screen! 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, "We walk by faith, not by sight."

THINK IT & SAY IT:
I refuse to let the events of my life to control by emotions or my way of thinking. My life is transformed by the renewing of my mind. I believe God’s power is working in me, to create a life beyond my wildest dreams. I will take advantage of anything that goes on around me, by FOCUSING on what God says. As I keep my eyes on His promises, it is PRODUCING His GLORY in my life, In Jesus’ Name!

How much are we different or the same?

I think about heaven. People from days of Israel will be there, people from the days of Jesus, people who lived in the dark ages. People who knew Luther. Luther.

So, what will I have in common with those folks.

I think I would have had a great deal in common with the early reformers.

But, what about the rest.

I don't know, Just JESUS.

That's all that will count.

Isn't it the same today?

Spiritual Blindness or no eyes at all

I have wondered at the people I know personally and those who I know but with less of a direct connection regarding the ability to see spiritually. I have been equally impressed of the blindness they exhibit.

I know all the verses in the letters to the Corinthians regarding seeing and spiritual blindness. I know the passages in Ephesians. They support my concern for my friends.

What is more amazing to me is when people have intentionally plucked out their spiritual eyes. I believe I see a pattern here. Prophetically Christians who have intensionally closed their eyes spiritually will wax worse and worse. They will drift off into apostasy. They will end up in a ditch. Blind leading blind.

Without the eyes of the Spirit of God seeing for you and in you, you walk blind.

Much of evangelical Christianity is blinded, profoundly blind. And believes it sees.

No one is so blind as those who WILL NOT see. Not Can Not.

How does that work. I feel like this is a warning to us all that blindness is a trait of the day in which we live. We must have mud rubbed in our eyes or we will walk off the end of the cliff into oblivion.

Word of God in 1, 2, 3

1. The Word of God is His very Presence in our lives. He created all things by his word and all things remain together by his word and according to his will. Nothing that exists anywhere that exists is and was made except by his Word and his Will.

2. The Word of God is Powerful, sharp, very sharp, cuts deeply into who we are, what we are, what we do, how we do it. It convinces us of our Righteousness in Jesus and convicts us when we stray. It motivates us to do what we do. The Word of God lives thru us and walks abroad in the world as we carry it.

3. The Word of God is most effective when it's spoken in faith by the anointing of the Holy Ghost to a person or a circumstance and even to an object. It changes things. We speak his word, we speak his will and the law of God's will goes into effect. We change things by the power of his spoken word. If we speak it in combination with other Spirit Driven people with faith believing we see the Word of God alive in our mouth with the same creative power that God Called all things into being.

See number one.

That's how important what we say is. I needed to prophesy this to myself today. You just got to ride along.

What cursed by God looks like

Early this morning I woke to hear an appeal for money on WLS radio by people feeding the poor in Haiti. I know a little about Haiti.

During the appeal one of the announcers said that Haiti was a God forsaken place. I believe that. I know Missionaries who work very hard there with not much fruit.

Yes, feeding these poor people will salve their bodies for a while, but they need their souls saved for the curse they might be living under to be lifted. This Commenter doesn't believe it is. I don't know.

I am concerned that in the USA we are living under a curse and don't know it. We think we are free to do what we want, curse God and get away with it.

As I listened to the appeal being made I had the distinct sense that God was by this appeal saying, "This is what a country that rejects me ends up looking like".

I pray it doesn't, but I wonder.

A Word from WHO?

I watched the reaction of the political and economic community to A WORD from our President about our economy. It thought his comment was encouraging as so it responded in kind.

I felt like the Lord said, "When the world's faith is in A WORD from a man, even a man in high places, it is placing it's trust in man. That is a curse. Seek FIRST my kingdom and it's Righteousness, and all these things will be added"

I want leadership to lead, I want leadership to be reassuring, I want to hear encouragement from leadership - I just don't want to see our whole world trusting in leadership that displaces Jesus.

That is part of what is going on and it Grieves the Spirit of the Living God.

Piling on Prophetic Prophets

I get a little frustrated with the Prophetic people among us sometimes. I don't deny the calling on their lives nor do I deny the gifting. I know that others among us wish we would go away. It doesn't work like that.

A prophet is a prophet even if he doesn't want to be. If he backslides, gets into drugs and whores, even if he is totally reprobate and ends up in Hell, he'll be a prophet in Hell. A drug using reprobate whore monger in hell that is also a prophet.

Otherwise you have to tear the page in Romans that says, The gifts of God are without repentance. In the Greek that means, that God doesn't repent or change his mind about giftedness.

Some of the prophetic people surrounding the Wilkerson prophetic word are piling on. Essentially it's, yeah, me too, I had that word.

Really, did you give it or did you hold it in. Jeremiah 20 is what most prophets suffer from and if you are a prophet you gave it publicly already to be tested by time and attention. I think some of the people prophetically are piling on with me too words.

I won't point to it. But, as a Prophet my job and if you are prophetic your job is to hear what the word of the Lord is, judge it, measure it against scripture and then make a decision on it.

I don't much care what pastors, teachers, evangelist think of the prophetic words brought forth. Not that they aren't important, they don't have standing to judge. The measure they use is wrong. A pastor will wonder how that prophetic word soothes people's souls, the teacher will try to compare it to this or that verse and draw wrong interpretations (John Piper just did that) and an evangelist will ask, how does this prophecy bring souls into the kingdom.

They all miss the point. The Apostle and the Prophet understand that building up and tearing down is the purpose of Prophecy. That's why the church must be built on the Apostolic and Prophetic or it will collapse.

Jeremiah 1:10 says it clearly and we as people of God need to understand that it is exactly right:

See, this day I have put you over the nations and over the kingdoms, for uprooting and smashing down, for destruction and overturning, for building up and planting.

Prophets prophesy, let your prophecy be judged and fear not. You are foundational, but don't feel like you have to pile on. Stand and speak the word of the Lord with Authority.

Or stay silent until it's so shut up in your bones you no longer can.

A Prophecy Regarding San Francisco and LA

I don't know this man, I don't know his credibility as a prophet. I do know that I have sometimes wondered about the great Caldera in Yellowstone. How does that geophysical condition play into the changes coming in our world. So I submit this word for your consideration and judgment alone.

Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

On the day that I (and the elect of California) leave San Francisco for Israel, fire and brimstone will rain down on the wicked cities of destruction.
I will go when the angels come and no earlier.

How will God do it?
Some speculate that the destruction of ancient Sodom came through nearby volcanic eruptions and an earthquake, or possibly an asteroid shower.
Since there is no mention of this in either the Genesis account or Luke 17, I am not going to make any conclusions.

But there is something new to consider and that is the recent flare up of seismic activity in the Yellowstone Caldera that started last Christmas.

At first I discounted this as it seems too far away but that would limit God's ability which is foolish. It could be that on the day the elect flee California, Yellowstone could erupt and spew a stream of hot sulphuric ash into the upper atmosphere which rains down on California.

What IF David Wilkerson is on the Money?

What if David Wilkerson's prophetic word is true, very true. What does that mean to you or me as people trying to follow Jesus here on the fringes of urban America?

It's a question I have been asking myself.

What if?

I don't know what this means. But, I think most of what we believe to be true won't be after this is over. This will separate the wheat from the chaff... Sadly many wheat looking folks will be chaffy.

Blown away by circumstance.

I think it's time to search our souls.

Our Words Matter - Faith or Not

Yesterday a good friend called me. He asked me how much faith did it take to do what I wrote about regarding fridges and cars. I said I didn't think it was as much faith as understanding the creative and restorative power of our words as believers.

I'll be honest. Sometimes I'm not all that Faith Filled. Sometimes I act in Faith without being full of faith. That's what faith does. Act as if.

I have come to know that in fact we are going to have to walk by and in faith for the foreseeable future. What we say counts.

Even if we don't at first believe, we must speak it. That's what walking not according to the flesh is all about.

Have Faith and you will receive is less important than Speaking those things that are not as if they already were.

I am NOT a name it and claim it preacher. And I am. I know this. If I have faith for my dog to come in the house but never call for him he is less likely to come in. I named what I wanted and when I spoke it (Here Doggy) it happened. Named and claimed.

Call things into being. Even if you don't have Faith. When God responds, and he will, you will be more ready next time to call it into being.

Not by might, not by power but by MY SPIRIT says the Lord. If you have the Spirit of God living in you, the Faith to SAY to that mountain Move, It will be there.

A Prophetic Word from Loren Sanford

The Original is here. I think Loren is a good prophet. He isn't seeing this as clearly as he should. My belief is that God's Spirit will do what Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have been saying prophetically (of course they don't know they are speaking things what God instructed them to) - "Don't ever waste the opportunity of a good crisis to make changes". But it's worth Reading because there is much good prophetic insight here. What follows it from Sanford:

I want to hit the panic button. I really do, although I suppose my concern is the fruit of spending too much time online with CNN and MSNBC. Like everyone else right now, I must fight off the tsunami wave of fear every day. God intended prophetic ministry for times like these. So here's my own prophetic scorecard, together with a word of exhortation for believers who feel themselves drowning in a sea of bad news.

Over the last year or more I believe I heard the Lord say five clear things, each of which has developed in just the way the Lord told me it would.

1. Long before the presidential election, while many prominent prophetic voices were saying that some great event would develop that would catapult McCain to the White House, I stated that the Lord had told me Barack Obama would be our next president. He is. This is not to exalt myself over others prophetically, but to point out that we prophetic types sometimes fail to separate our own hopes, dreams and passions from the genuine word of the Lord. Been there, done that.

2. I believe the Lord told me that following Obama's election we would see six months of "delusory hope." The dictionary definition of "delusory" is "giving a false or misleading impression." Obama came to power on the wings of some of the highest approval ratings of any president. At this writing his job rating continues to soar at somewhere between 60 percent and 68 percent. And this rating holds at a time when the stock market daily registers its vote of no-confidence in the most rapid and dramatic decline in value that has been seen under any Democratic president. Unemployment soars. GDP plummets. Consumer confidence sinks to a record low. I can't think of a better illustration of "delusory hope." Nothing seems to be working.

3. The Lord told me six months of delusory hope "and then the whirlwind." This was a mixed message with conditions attached. No matter what happens, we are in for a whirlwind of change, especially after the middle of the year. America as we have known it is a thing of the past, and nothing can alter that. This can be bad. This can be good. It depends to a large degree upon the prayers of God's people and the role we choose to play in blessing the world in which we live and in serving the Pharaohs and Nebuchadnezzars in our lives—including government officials. If, like Daniel and Joseph, we will use our spiritual gifts to serve our unrighteous kings rather than sitting in self-righteous judgment, we will find ourselves at the epicenter of influence and in high demand for our wisdom. We can once again significantly shape a generation.

I saw papers caught up in the whirlwind. Look for a blizzard of legislation and change to follow. I see coming a revolution in energy, transportation and communication that will rival the Industrial Revolution for its impact on economies and cultures. If the Industrial Revolution could be likened to a tsunami wave, and if the coming revolution can be seen in a similar light, then before the wave there comes a trough. The current recession is the trough before the wave, the time when old things pass away before new things come. A new economy will ultimately emerge.

I believe the Lord told me that we would see the beginnings of recovery in the second half of the year, after the six months. "Beginnings" does not mean "resurgence," however. It will be a long road back.

4. Contra the doom-and-gloomers, and despite my own emotional pull to hit the panic button, America will not collapse economically or politically. In November 2007 the Lord told me—and I published it—that we were about to enter a season of the rollercoaster, when the ups and downs would be dramatic and sudden. It would be frightening, but I wrote that we would not collapse and that it would be a time for believers to cling to and test the depth of their dependence on the Lord.

Many have prophesied destruction for America and proclaimed that we stand under judgment for the murder of 50 million unborn children and other crimes. We are not under judgment. Destruction is not just over the horizon. Biblical judgment is when the enemy invades your country, kills hundreds of thousands of your population, destroys your capital city, razes your temple to the ground and exiles tens of thousands of your best citizens.

We are not under judgment. We are under discipline. Discipline, although painful, comes from the hand of a loving Father to produce correction and character changes in His children. Judgment, on the other hand, destroys when discipline has failed. God is not finished with America. We are not at the point of judgment. Not yet.

5. I have prophesied in the past that due to moral decisions firmly made at the level of culture, there will be no culture-sweeping, culture-changing revival in America. The argument may continue, but the debate is over. However, God will be—and is—raising up lighthouse churches, islands of glory in a sea of mud, to gather in the refugees from the disintegrating culture around us. These will be places of healing, of experiencing the dramatic raw presence of God—places where the least and the lowest will be honored and received and the character of Jesus will prevail in real love and selfless sacrifice. I pray my own church is one of those. I see a number of such congregations springing up across the country, seeking the true heart of the Father and the realization of His kingdom on earth.

All five of these points are currently in progress. All five demand current action and character change from those of us who bear the name "Christian." We hold the future in our hands, whether we enter a golden age for the church and a time of national restoration, or whether we enter into a time, not of discipline for correction, but of judgment for destruction.

On Prosperity and Promise

A Word from God by Brenda Craig:

Beloved, I know you struggle in some things and not in others. Often the things you struggle with are connected to or related to your past experiences…connected to areas where you did not find success…areas where you were not loved or approved of and so on. It is in these areas you do not have the wisdom, confidence or sense of hope that you need. It is in these areas where the manifest outworking of who I am in You is not present because what you believe is based on what you have experienced or seen and not on the truth found in My Word.

In spite of all the prayers you have prayed and all the doings you have done, you still struggle to overcome. In spite of all My promises about prosperity in every area of your life, including the financial, you still wonder at times where I will get the resources to meet your emotional and physical needs.

Though you have seen My hand in one area, you still doubt Me in another. Do you not know a little bit of doubt leads to complete unbelief if not evicted by taking your thoughts captive and choosing to glorify My name through thanksgiving and praise? A little bit of doubt is like leaven. All it takes is a drop…a small bit in comparison to the whole to spoil the entirety of what I have done and am willing to do.

I don't know what to make of this. David Wilkerson predicts terror

I respect and even admire David Wilkerson. He is a father in the faith. He has issued a dire warning. I will allow YOU to decide what you will do with this word. I am going to let it settle and then decide.

A word of GREAT encouragement from Apostle Nancy

You need to see this. I was really bless by it. I don't often link on my prophetic side, But Nancy is really coming quickly into her own on her new blog. I commend it to you.

OH, and for a religious person or two who might read this, YES, there were Apostles who happened to be Women in the Bible.


Junia is called out in Romans 16:7. There are several otherwomen in the same chapter who I am confident fit the role of Kingdom Apostolic Leader beyond the Prophetic. Paul names names and sums much of it up in the phrase: who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. I know several myself. So don't get all bent out of shape. Nancy is called to the Apostolic and I proclaim prophetically in this forum the mantle of the Apostle is on her.

Go Ye clothed in your Mantle of Authority and be prepared for battle Nancy.

From Prophet Bruce on the Economy

I spent some time with Bruce and Friends yesterday. We had a great time of fellowship. During that time he told me something that he received from God prophetically.

I am not going to bail you out, I'm going to grow you up.

That may not seem like a big revelation to you, but in sharing what the Lord is showing me about our coming economic upheavals this morning (yes we are not done yet), this word rang more true than ever.

I hate growing up, I would rather be bailed out, But I know HIM too much to believe he loves me so little he would not deal with me that way.

I wish the Government had the wisdom of God. He is our source. Not Government.

Devourer Rebuked

We have a fridge. It has an ice maker. The ice maker was broken. It wouldn't make ice.

Peggy laid hands on the fridge and the ice maker is now making ice.

The AC on my car quit. Don't know why. Fogged windows. I didn't lay hands on it, I spoke to it, it fired back up again and is working fine. Not bad for a car with almost 200 grand on it.

Then the ignition failed. I took it to the repair shop. $300 dollars to repair. I said I'd think abut it. I did. I took the ignition coil off held it in my hand and commanded it in Jesus name to work right. I reinstalled it. No more ignition problem.

Devourer Rebuked.

Are there "Rational" explanations for this? If by rational you mean worldly, perhaps. This all happened irrationally in one week. A friend said, maybe there was air in the line with the ice maker, or it jammed and freed up, maybe there was a freon leak that was detected and then undetected on the AC, maybe removing and reinstalling the ignition coil cleaned a connection that was dirty. MAYBE.

Or MAYBE NOT!

I have experienced this phenomena too many times in too many ways not to know that it's flat out devourer rebuking going on according to Malachi the prophet.

The Spirit of What IF

Some years ago a song was popular called, I Don't Believe in IF anymore.

Right now I have a sense in my spirit that a "What IF" spirit is clouding our thinking. We need Jesus to reveal himself to us, WHAT IF he never ever leaves or forsakes us? That's the what if.

Pastor Phil posted a Remix of the 23rd Psalm. It's pretty good. I pirated it here:

The Lord is my strength, I shall not panic;
He helps me relax and rest in quiet trust.
He reminds me that I belong to Him and restores my serenity;
He leads me in my decisions and gives me calmness of mind.
His presence is peace.
Even though I walk through the valley of the fear of failure,
I will not worry, for He will be with me.
His truth, grace, and loving-kindness will stabilize me.
He prepares release and renewal in the midst of my stress.
He anoints my mind with wisdom;

Love and Purpose

There are two main prophetic undergirdings to the Believer in Jesus.

First, we must know how much he Loves us. John 3:16 love. But more than that, and there is more, He loves us beyond our understanding. Not height nor depth can separate us. Father's love who runs to meet us as we return. Love of a bridegroom who pursues and woos us. Love that never ever leaves or forsakes us. Eternal love. If we can grasp the magnitude of God's love for us, it will keep us solid on the rock.

Second, is our purpose. This is more evasive. We all have a purpose in God. Sometimes it take a little while to find it, but find it we will. We must have, we must cultivate an understanding of why we are here. You probably won't find it from someone else. You will find it by His Spirit of Revelation. Your pastor can't tell you and may not even acknowledge the purpose God had placed in you. I spoke with a dear sister in Jesus last night for a long time who is struggling with the reality not having her Spirit revealed purpose confirmed by her pastor. Our purpose doesn't come from people. It comes from God.

The problem is you need revelation for comprehending a little the love of God in your life and you will need a prophetic voice to declare destiny over your life. I am convinced that people perish for lack of knowledge because they are not in a place to hear from the Throne.

It's a tough thing, but if you can find the LOVE of God and YOUR PURPOSE you will walk in victory and confidence to the day you die.

Seek first the KINGDOM of GOD and his Righteousness and ALL THESE THINGS will be added unto you.

Pastor Joh.W.Matutis in Berlin has a dire prediction. I don't agree completely, but I am judging it as it is.

You will want to read it. Consider it. Don't fear. He has not given us a Spirit of Fear.

Deafened by Thunder

Moses heard from God. It was God's intent to speak directly to his people without any filter.

He wanted them to know him face to face, to whisper in their ears. That was always his intent. To have the written word of God as instruction to discern His voice, but then to cultivate the ability to hear him in the quiet and even in the storm.

It is my concern that we have become a people as Christians who say to our ministers, our prophets, our theologians, our professors, writers of books and teachers of the word - we say to them: "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."

The problem is this. Many times they have not heard from God. They too have read books, taken classes, heard sermons. Just NO GOD HEARD.

They are terrified to hear the voice of God directly. They see the lightning and hear the thunder and tremble. That is the problem with much of the denominational church of America. Adrift in the world without the voice of God in their life and in their spiritual ears. "Let those who have ears to hear, HEAR what the Spirit of the Lord Says."

I know good men and women of God who have read all the books, taken all the classes, heard all the lectures and it becomes a poor substitute for hearing Directly from HIM.

I have cultivated hearing from God. He is always gentle, always kind, always loving, always ever like a Father. I never feel rebuked or ashamed. It's his nature. Read the book of Ezekiel. It's full of love and compassion, yet you and I will know where we stand with the creator of the Universe.

Today in Church Pastor Phil captured this truth. He advised his congregation to listen, quietly, no Bible on the lap, no praying, no nothing. Just a pad of paper a pencil and silence. For a long time. It was profoundly true. This is what it takes to hear from God.... Listening. Big profound truth I know. But most Christians NEVER develop this sensitivity. They read books, go to conferences, watch Christian TV, even go to church and never learn to hear the word of the Lord for themselves.

I think this is one of the lost arts. But then it was lost long long ago:

From Exodus 20:

¹⁸ When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance ¹⁹ and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."

²⁰ Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."

²¹ The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

It was and is ever so.....

It's time for Christians to learn to hear God for themselves.
