Fore-Runner: Heart of the Explorer by David L. Smith

History repeats itself.

On the edge of civilization, there have always been those who ventured out beyond the "zone" of the safe.

In all groups of people, there are those who stay. In every city, in every civilization, in all of history - most have stayed where they LIVE, in their heart, mind, and lives.

This is as it should be. This is the foundation. This is the core.

Yet, there have always been those on "the edge". Some good. Some bad. Many in the midst.

Within that small slice of a civilization's population - there are those that venture out.

There are those who have the heart of the explorer.

Many sit in the safety & comfort & ease of their home and talk about going "out there". Many live their adventures through the lives of others who have gone before. Many stay - yet inspire those who GO.

We are on the verge of a new world.

We are on the verge of a new civilization unlike ANY that have been before.

We - as a people - are on the edge of eternity. Ahead, there beckons a new world. A new heaven. A new civilization that will never end.

Ahead, there lies the Kingdom of our God that has foundations that will never die, never crumble, and never fade away. Ahead, lies a city whose maker and builder is God.

And - as in all history - there are the fore-runners. Those who go before.

There are the Abrahams - and the Ishmaels. There are the Shems. The Japhets. The Hams. And the Noahs who stay behind.

Those who go beyond are the seekers, the explorers, the sailors of the seas. The Mountain men. The Conquerers. There are those that go out for reasons right and for reasons wrong.

We are on the verge of a New World.

Choose you the way that you will go.

It all comes down to CHOICE.

We all have Different functions. Different callings. Different destinies. Different lives.

There are those that God has called for purpose. And there are those that will never answer that call. There are those that give themselves the title. But they are not. They say, I am an explorer! A fore-runner! A prophet! A Leader! A mountain man or a captain of a starship!

Some are. Some are not.

Some say that they "boldly go where none have gone before" - but never do.

Some do.

We are on the verge of eternity.

will you FLY?
