When Your Light is Dimmed - a Word for the Church

When I woke yesterday a word came that has been confirmed again and again. There is a dark cloud over the Body of Christ. It has caused the light we are supposed to carry to be dimmed.

We sang the children's song in Church...
This little light of mine,
I'm gonna let it shine

Hide it under a bushel? No!
I'm gonna let it shine

Don't let Satan blow it out,
I'm gonna let it shine

All Around My Neighborhood
I’m gonna let it shine

Let it shine til Jesus comes,
I'm gonna let it shine
Those were great intentions. Wonderful sentiments. But the reality is we have allowed our little light to be obscured by things only the Devil could have dreamed up. Now the Spirit of God is handing us a rebuke. If you have ears to hear, hear what the Spirit of God is saying:

Look at the LED light you see today. Individually they are dim. They are ineffective, but when they are combined, in unison, aimed, targeted, they have great power, yield a great light. Some of today's most expensive automobiles now have LED clusters as headlights. Alone they are nothing, together....great light.

The Body of Christ is like that. Many little lights. In unity they can make a great light. The world will be confronted with that great light. That great light is Jesus come to establish his Kingdom:

The time of darkness and despair will not go on forever. The land of Zebulun and Naphtali will be humbled, but there will be a time in the future when Galilee of the Gentiles, which lies along the road that runs between the Jordan and the sea, will be filled with glory.

2 The people who walk in darkness
will see a great light.
For those who live in a land of deep darkness,
a light will shine.
3 You will enlarge the nation of Israel,
and its people will rejoice.
They will rejoice before you
as people rejoice at the harvest
and like warriors dividing the plunder.
4 For you will break the yoke of their slavery
and lift the heavy burden from their shoulders.
You will break the oppressor’s rod,
just as you did when you destroyed the army of Midian.
5 The boots of the warrior
and the uniforms bloodstained by war
will all be burned.
They will be fuel for the fire.

That is what the light is sent to do. Break Yokes, Lift Burdens, Break Oppressors and remove darkness. Yet the great light is dimmed from a lack of unity, a spirit of independence, spiritual arrogance, unique revelation and tolerance for sin.

Many of these light dimmers are clearly defined like tolerance for sin. Homosexuals in the Pulpit. Graft and greed in the Church. Immorality among leaders.

A great dimming influence is the sin of the Nicolaitans a clergy system or priest craft - clergy over the laity, {Doctrine of the Nicolaitanes {Niko...power, Laitans...laity} - seizing power over the laity -

Revelation 2: vs 6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate....
vs 15 Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Repent therefore! }
The light is dimmed by an ecclesiastical hierarchy that stifles Light coming from Laity. Jesus says REPENT....of your lording over one another in the Body of Christ. Jesus fought this battle even with his own Disciples:
Mark 10:41 When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John. Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
It is becoming a stench, this status and power struggle in the Body of Christ today. Instead of ministry in submission to one another, there is a scramble to be first, an ambition that is the Sin of the Nicolaitans.

The light is dimmed when a pet doctrine or revelation creates a "them and us" mentality in the kingdom. A sense of superiority. An ego driven "I get it, and you don't" attitude that has divided and dimmed what should be a great light. These are not cancers on the Body of Christ that must be cut out like those who preach that Jesus is NOT God, such as Jehovah's Witness who are not part of the Body. Nor should they be considered. A cancer must be removed, an infection must be healed from.

These divisive dimming doctrines are festers, infections, viruses that weaken the Body of Christ. They won't Kill the Body, they will just cause it to sit down. The light dims.

Pride is what drives these doctrines and dogmas the devil cooks up to divide. So what are we to do? We must humbly expose the doctrines of devils that are taught today. We are not lifting ourselves up as better than anyone else, nor do we feel that we are the only ones that are right, but we feel an urgency to expose the satanic doctrines that have become the foundation of the antichrist incorporated denominational social club termed "church." We do not scream condemnations, but with brokenness and sincerity, we beg you to examine your confidences in light of the scriptures.

Paul warned us of these deadly teachings in I Timothy 4:1,
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils."
We are in these times, and anyone that is seriously looking for the truth can see this departure from the faith! Satan is the author of these doctrines of devils, thus we read such cautions as, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith..."

Jesus cautioned us in Luke 6:26,
"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets."
When the world is not offended at your lifestyle and you fit in with the satanic doctrine of salvation of the antichrist denominations, you need to open your eyes and ask the Lord for Truth!

Paul warned in Acts 20:29.
"For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock."
These wolves have followed the leading of seducing spirits, who have taught doctrines of devils. We were warned of these false teachers by Jude 4,
"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."
You will spot false teachers by their appeal to the flesh. Their teachings "tickle ears" and entice the flesh. Instead of causing you to put the flesh to death , they give it life!

Some of these divisive doctrines have to do with end time theologies. These theologies are falsely called Prophecy. There is no prophecy in them, they are vain speculations based on human interpretation of scripture. End Times speculation is the false prophetic designed to discredit the genuine. People are deceived by thinking they KNOW something when they are led into a dead end. How many times has the end of the world been prophesied? Even now there are those saying May 21, 2011. It will cause great consternation for many. Just as those speculations that all things have already been fulfilled. It's opinion, not prophecy. Speculation.

Another has to do with Baptism. I have an opinion. But, it's an opinion. I will not let it divide and dim the light of Jesus.

One has to do with Sabbath Day... we have a denomination that has decided it has a special revelation in that area. I receive them as brothers and will not allow them to divide.

A personal issue is the nature of the God Head.... Jesus is God, One, Alone. Father-Son-HolyGhost all in oneness. This is personal because it had the potential to divide in my own family. I refuse to allow that to divide me from my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Currently the issue of who is Israel, who is not (a very old argument still unsettled) is back on the burner. It can be divisive IF you let it. Decades ago I sat in the home of some German Friends who were great lovers of Israel, celebrated Sukkot every year there and saw it one way. At the same time I sat with people from the Church in Germany who had no place for Israel as God's Chosen in the Modern Day. Both were seeing truth dimly. Yet I refuse to let it divide.

When will we begin to see ourselves as joint heirs with Christ, as part of that Great Light shining, as part of the Kingdom of God on Earth showing people the way to have burdens lifted we will put aside childish things.

The dimming that has happened and is happening by the dogma that has divided is a clever scheme of the enemy. It has worked because we are so easily beset by the sin of pride. I remember a character on Mad TV. A "little" boy, Stuart, who constantly wanted attention. He would do anything to get it. His famous line was..."Look what I can do".... He would then make some silly maneuver to make you look at him. We have a lot of Spiritual Stuarts in the Kingdom today. All looking for a deeper revelation than the last guy. A one up man ship. It's become so deep it no longer is useful. People NEED the Lord. They need light shining in their lives. They NEED to know freedom that comes from a decluttering of confusion.

The Spirit of God is crying out to the church...Find Unity....Let your Light Shine...At Babel it was for evil, but now manifest the good by becoming what could have been eons ago:
"Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them." Genesis 11:6
Give Grace in Doctrines that you may not agree but should not divide. Lock shields and storm the gates that hell is building. It is for this reason you were created. To be a LIGHT BEARER. IF you are a disciple of Christ, then This Prayer is for YOU:

Jesus Prays for His Disciples John 17:
6 “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

Now in the immortal words of Captain John Luke Picard...MAKE IT SO!
