What I heard last Night and Sent to a Friend as Encouragement

After hearing the Word of the Lord last Night, I sent this to a friend going thru hard times. Obviously I have removed any names in this. It might just be for you too. Be Encouraged:

Don't let the Battle Change your mind. Don't let this warfare change your mind. No matter what comes against you. Don't let the warfare or this battle change your mind.

HE hasn't changed is mind about His calling of and gifting in YOU. It might be delayed, it may be discouraging, but it's not denied. He has a plan, you are in the center of it. No matter what comes against you, He hasn't changed his mind toward you. You are still on his radar and He's there for you.

He wants you to be Open to what he has planned for you... but be careful, if you can be open you can be closed towards it.

He want's fullness for you, but be careful, if you can be full, you can be empty.

He wants you to draw NEAR to him, but be careful, if you can be near, you can be far from Him.

Jesus is saying, I don't want your tongue, I don't want your study, I don't want your service, I want your heart. "If you give it to me", Jesus says, "I will revive your dreams again".

God is not a respecter of persons, but He is a selector, and He is saying, I CHOSE you. Your life is meant to be bigger than where you are right now. HE is not crushing you as you think, He has much more than you are able to see with your physical eyes. That rejection you felt was not a test. It was not a punishment. It was not an attack. It was a door closed.

Open Doors that only HE can open are waiting to be Knocked on.

When you were born you came crying into the world, Once more, it's time to cry out and to the heavenlies.....

I won't let the battle change my mind about you Jesus. I won't let the warfare change my mind. I will fight one more day...crying out to YOU.

There is no other option.

I haven't had much time to investigate more of your posts and try to understand who you are (plus it's late my time) but this post encouraged me. I surely need to come back to your blog and check it out in its full context but at first glance it appears you hold prophecy in high regard and come across a little harsh-- maybe just opinionated? However, I am sure I could have easily misinterpreted. As long as you call Jesus Lord, we are family in Christ and His Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity gives spiritual giftings according to His will. As the body of Christ we all need each other (I am remembering 1 Corinthians 12). What do you believe about this? I would be interested to know where you stand.
Also wanted to mention a super easy read by Francis Chan called Forgotten God about the Holy Spirit and how often followers of Jesus Christ ignore Him. I highly recommend the book if you have not read it. Of course the Bible is thenumber one resource for biblical understanding of the Holy Spirit. Anyways- I am rambling. Please tell me more about your beliefs if you would

I appreciate you reading and were encouraged. I hope to do that. BUT, sometimes a prophet must trouble those in the kingdom. I try to stay away from those OUTSIDE the kingdom. I'm not called to them.

My beliefs are pretty conventional. I think they might be best described as Pentecostal and Traditional. I have never thought about publishing a what I believe post.

Maybe some day. If you read much of what I write, you will find me ordinary as a Prophet. OH and ALL of 1 Corinthians 12 is True. I just wrote on that recently.

Blessings.

Rich my friend, very rich. So much of God's heart being exposed to say "come on, I haven't given up on you, don't give up on yourself or ME!"

How we ALL need to hear this from time to time. Even those who SEEM to have it all together. Hmm, seems I remember an old old hymn that says the same thing, "I love to tell the story, for those who know it best, seem hungering and thirsting, to hear it like the rest..."

Sometimes it is those who "know it best" who just need to be reminded. Need to be encouraged to put forth just a little more effort to see that door swing open, that lock fall to the ground, or whatever the hindrance is, be removed. To be reminded of so many things! Thanks for the reminder.
