Just a note of explanation. This is from Bethel Church in California. The ministry of healing is called SOZO because SOZO means wholeness, nothing broken, nothing missing, rescued, saved. The principles are good and if we grasp them we grasp the foundation of our healing and when we minister healing for others.
Ten Freedom Foundations
Sozo Ministry centers on basic principles, or understandings. Getting these in our hearts is critical. These ten foundations frame our ministry understanding and approach.
1. God Is Good, Satan Is Bad
Let’s not get confused. This is the most important foundation of all. If God is for us then who can effectively be against us? But, if we believe God is the source of our misery and pain, then we end up confused and hopeless.
2. Your Freedom Is God’s Will
Jesus came to “take away sins” and to “destroy the works of the devil.” We can be very sure that when we are about doing those two things we are moving directly in line with God’s clearly stated will. So, we can know that God will strongly lead and support our efforts--it is His delight.
3. We Have Hidden Enemies
This world is, in a real sense, a war zone in which there are real casualties and real prisoners, real captives, real destruction, and real loss. While Satan and his demons have been soundly and totally defeated, there is still a struggle against his schemes, lies, presence, and works in places of unbelief, sin, sickness, torment, and wounding. It is normally to their advantage to remain hidden and to pull strings behind the scenes.
4. Issues Are Not Random
Each person is created and gifted to reflect, uniquely, something of God to the world. Satan’s target is the place in a man or woman, a family, or even a nation that most reflects the glory of God--their destiny calling..
5. There Is Always a Reason
There is always a source and a point in time when something happened that set into motion a course that ends up with an individual in torment, pain, and sin. It may be difficult to uncover, but it is always there. God knows the point in time of the wound, lie, or sin. He knows the reason or cause. God is willing to help us find it.
6. Prisoners and Captives
The ones we help are of two types: captives and prisoners. This distinction is important to freedom. Captives have been captured in war through no fault of their own. They have been held in bondage due to wounding and false beliefs normally incurred when they were young and defenseless. Prisoners are held in prison because they have done something to deserve it.
7. Partners with God
All Sozos are done with the authority of, under the direction of, and with reference to God. We are His partners, junior to be sure, but partners and children. This means that we listen for God and follow His lead. In Sozo we unapologetically stop and ask God what to do. We ask the person to listen on the inside for His answers. We ask, “What are you seeing, sensing or hearing?”
8. A Culture of Honor
We also honor vulnerable hurting people. When someone is vulnerable in our presence, confessing sin, weakness, and the most intimate details of their failings, our response must be one of gentle understanding and true compassion. Sozo ministry is safe and confidential. To speak words that are not grace-imparting grieves the Holy Spirit.
9. Applying God’s Solutions
In ministry we encounter different kinds of issues: wounding, entanglements, sin, ungodly beliefs, demons. God has different solutions for different issues. Sin is confessed, wounding is healed, entanglements are renounced, truth is believed, and demons are cast out. We want to use the right tools in the right ways.
10. An Event and a Process
We go from glory to glory. We grow over time. When we are stuck, Sozo can help break us free to move on. Sozo is a lifestyle not a destination--a way of relating, a flow of freedom within the church.

Sir this has nothing to do with the article. More of a plea from someone who has less years on this planet than you and has not walked with the Lord as long.A plea if you will probably around 2009 I went several states awaty to see my brother. He had just goyt a book by a man named joseph prince I read it although unsure I read it all. it would be around 2 or 3 years ago I wanted a book on grace I remembered this man. I saw his new book I walked up to it three times and each time as I picked up the book all desire left I mean nothing it was odd and a spiritual reaction that left me a little confused I did not buy the book. several years later I would be talking to the pastor and a member of the church young in understanding walked up and said I would like to ask you do you think it would be alright if I listened to josepeh prince he said yes and the man smiled and walked away. The pastor asked me what I thought and I told him what happened waiting for a response to which I got none. I thought well I can't go against my conscience. several months ago I thought somebody has to have looked into this even members of my own family where beginning to be consumed with this mans teaching.so I just punched in a scriptural refute to josepeh prince teaching. I found several things seemed more like personel attacks I just ignored them. I have had seasons in my life where I was nurtured by some teachers. Later I eschewed them. Others I eschewed early I have now embraced. Don't get too dogmatic. Prince is a good teacher, very grace oriented. Can be misunderstood. YET in all, pretty sound. You just weren't at a place in your life where you needed his bent. Don't throw any babies out with bathwater. Maybe ten years from now you will revisit this. AND discernment is a great gift. Get some and use it. Sort thru...

Anonymous---If I may also respond to you question...As a point of reference I was saved in 1983 and have grown in His Word because I see Him as the most important person in my life. Soon after being saved I watched and even VHS teaching programs on TBN. I would never miss the Lester Sumrall or Kenneth Hagin teachings along with a few others.
As Gene alluded to, over time your opinions of various teachings might change because of your growth in His Word. There are several pastors on TV that feed me, but there are none that I agree with completely. I am willing to consider what is taught but I always compare it to what I know. If I do not know, I then put it on shelf and to see what I learn about that subject over time.
My advice to you is to check out the man's teachings for yourself. Prince quotes the Word and even shows the scripture on the TV screen so you know that what he is saying is accurate as it stands by itself. But, you must be familiar with the Word to know if it is in the proper context. Also, research for contradicting verses.
I'm in agreement with Gene that Joseph Prince's teachings are basically solid...though for my tastes, he spends too much time on grace to the point its repetitious and tries too hard to make his point.
The bottom line is that Prince virtually teaches, “Once saved always saved.” Try googling the opposite argument such as, “verses against once saved always saved.” They're there. But like Gene said, “Don't get too dogmatic and Don't throw out any babies with the bathwater.”

to Fallout thank you sir the advice you have given me is sound and I find to be true the first book I kind of enjoyed the second I got checked on. pastor Chace Gordon did a pretty good scriptural refute. I did today what you recommended. I went back to dereck princes teaching on false religion Quote " some people talk about love until it drips like honey from their lips I have learned to ask what is wrong with them or their theology. They had better at least live it God is a God of love but He is also a God of Judgement and anyone that denies that I believe he said be very wary. I appreciate both your responses because I have had to carry frodshams prophecy since before I have found this website I will be obedient to my conscience after reviewing pastor chances scriptural refute part 1. This almost makes me slightly wary of others that say God is not judging anyone today as judgement in greek means to make a descion and is a basic foundational doctorine Thank you both I greatly appreciate your responses. I must admit I don't think he ever taught on conscience but I can follow that throught scripture he did teach a two part message on repentance the call of God and the cross which helped me immensely.to understand a.w.tozers teaching on conscience and his conclusion on romans 678 was the same as leonard ravenhills as far as grace teaching he taught with the best of them but never neglected to teach call purpose and responsibility to grow and be obedient giving information on the Holy Spirit throughout and not neglecting to approach new testament warnings.
