The World's Measure is not the Same as the Kingdom's

The world honors those who are not always worthy of honor.  Sports stars.  People with high degrees.  Those who rise in politics.

God looks at His Kingdom and the true honor belongs to those who make a difference.  Not those with the titles.  Not those with position.  Those who are last.  Small.  Seemingly insignificant.

“So those who are last now will be first then, and those who are first will be last.”   Matthew 20:16

But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.  Luke 22:26

We are seeing this manifest in our day.  The high mighty are being brought low.  The humble are being exaulted.

You can choose.  Jesus said so.  Luke 14

7When Jesus noticed that all who had come to the dinner were trying to sit in the seats of honor near the head of the table, he gave them this advice: 8“When you are invited to a wedding feast, don’t sit in the seat of honor. What if someone who is more distinguished than you has also been invited? 9The host will come and say, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then you will be embarrassed, and you will have to take whatever seat is left at the foot of the table!
10“Instead, take the lowest place at the foot of the table. Then when your host sees you, he will come and say, ‘Friend, we have a better place for you!’ Then you will be honored in front of all the other guests. 11For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
12Then he turned to his host. “When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said, “don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward. 13Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. 14Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.”

I enjoyed this article thank you. You know after many years of study I used to look at the Apostle and Prophet church Gov as top down and it in terms of spiritual authority and ability it may be that way to the enemy. It is pretty well known that many times training for Apostles and Prophets may be severe according to call and purpose. As my uncle a minister asked me about it several months ago, I explained these things to him and said I do believe now as foundational ministries in the Word the pressure and shaping is to bear wait and shift to support and uphold the body and as a block on the foundation you can hit it with a car friendly or otherwise and if the foundation is good it won't move.Humility is strength under control and the Discipline of a soldier will only shoot when it is approved. Have a good day from ohio.Hope in the Lord and the Power of His might and be blessed yet a little while and change is coming.
