OK Prophecy Buffs, Has this already happened, or will it happen?

IF this is yet to happen, then what else will happen in this same flow of scripture? I am asking sincerely, We need to be careful what we shelve in Prophecy...

"In that day five of Egypt’s cities will follow the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. They will even begin to speak Hebrew, the language of Canaan. One of these cities will be Heliopolis, the City of the Sun. In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the heart of Egypt, and there will be a monument to the Lord at its border. It will be a sign and a witness that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is worshiped in the land of Egypt. When the people cry to the Lord for help against those who oppress them, he will send them a savior who will rescue them. The Lord will make himself known to the Egyptians. Yes, they will know the Lord and will give their sacrifices and offerings to him. They will make a vow to the Lord and will keep it. The Lord will strike Egypt, and then he will bring healing. For the Egyptians will turn to the Lord, and he will listen to their pleas and heal them. In that day Egypt and Assyria will be connected by a highway. The Egyptians and Assyrians will move freely between their lands, and they will both worship God. And Israel will be their ally. The three will be together, and Israel will be a blessing to them. For the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will say, “Blessed be Egypt, my people. Blessed be Assyria, the land I have made. Blessed be Israel, my special possession!” (Isaiah 19:18-25 NLT)

Interesting post! It has been my impression that we are in the beginning stages (foundational stages) of this prophecy right now. I haven't read or seen any world news this week, so I'm not sure what else to say but that I'm curious if anyone else feels that this prophecy will be brought to fruition in its entirety very, very soon?

Sir I might have way missed it I am just throwing this out there. We all no the geographical lines and lines have changed on the current maps. I believe perry stone taught on this. Don't quote me so that being said they found Christians in Ethiopia. All nine gifts active and traced it to the enuch that was baptized in the new testament.i think by john. Another aspect concerning geographical areas. lester sumral teaches on the seven churches in revelation free on manna reserve. His teaching on the fruit of the spirit is also free hard hitting and worth listening to. That being sadi lester sumral traveled to the geographic locations of all seven churches. the last one went under over a 100 tears ago the building was still standing. he asked the locals if any Christians where still there they laughed not in over a 100 years this is now an all muslim area.i don't know if this helps or not I did find it interesting lester went to all seven places they are all real and not one exists anymore.

Hmm..interesting passage. As far as I know, Israel has never been allied with Egypt or Assyria in past times (I may be mistaken). So it could be for a future time. Sounds like God will do something miraculous in the Middle East.

I don't consider myself a “prophecy buff” but here is my take on Isiah 19:18-25.

"In that day five of Egypt’s cities will follow the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. They will even begin to speak Hebrew, ...”

Whenever I read, “In that day” I always first think of “The Day of the Lord” as its reference.
The fact that it says the Egyptians will speak Hebrew is evidence that this is a prophecy for the Millennium. I cannot see the Egyptians speaking Hebrew during this earth age.

Isa 19:19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

It is quite possible that the pillar or monument in this scripture is speaking about the Great Pyramid. It does not have a capstone. Will a new one be placed on it to honor Jesus during the Millennium?
Mar 12:10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

Isa 19:22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

I would say that this verse is prior to the Day of the Lord.
