HOLY - by Tim Thomas

In the New Testament. Sometimes when they would go to different places the people would try to worship them as gods and prepare sacrifices to them. The Apostles would rip their clothes and run around trying to show that they were just men and that God did the works. Once the people received the Holy Spirit they realized that they had the same gifts.

Now, in today's society. What is the perspective of God? Of His Righteousness? Of the people that operate in the Gifts? Real, Fake, gods, or humans? Can we accept their humanity and the fact that they have received the Holy Spirit?

They were not holy of themselves but they WERE Holy. Because they were washed in the Blood of Jesus, Sanctified unto every good work and filled with the Holy Ghost.

Today, let us consider sober judgment and conviction. Walking in righteousness as "Saints in the Light." Know that you are a Holy vessel of God and His Spirit. Share that truth and the fact that it is not of yourself but a gift of God.

Every time I hear the statement "I am a sinner saved by grace." I cringe inside. I have actually felt the Holy Spirit move in me with anger. You are no longer a sinner but have been made HOLY. It is a false humility. A SINNER cannot enter into His presence.

Know WHO you are in Christ, the Elect of God, Joint Heirs with Christ, Called to be Saints. Then when you are told to rip your shirt off and demonstrate your humanity you KNOW why, so God receives ALL the Glory.

Presumption Versus Faith TGIF Today God Is First Volume 1, by Os Hillman 07-29-2010

"The Lord's anger burned against Uzzah, and He struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God." 1 Chronicles 13:10

A life of faith often requires us to leave God's work alone. Responding to a need out of a desire to help move a vision along can be the greatest challenge for a Christian entrepreneur. There is a fine line between presumption and faith.

Uzzah learned that presumption could cost him his life. He was part of the crew that was to move the ark with the help of a team of oxen. When the way became rough, Uzzah responded in a natural way. He grabbed the ark to steady it. When he did, he was immediately struck down. God said it was forbidden to touch the ark. King David mourned the death of his servant and argued with God about this loss. Walking with God in the workplace requires sensitivity to balancing our God-given talents and operating in the power of the Holy Spirit in and through our work life. A mentor once told me, "You almost have to hold back your natural gifting to ensure that God is the one who is guiding you. If not, you will not know if it is through your skill versus His hand that you are accomplishing the work." I find this the most challenging aspect of a walk with God in the workplace.

You can only grow in your understanding of this balance by being accountable to others in the process. By having other committed Christians walking close to you, they become the safety net to keep you from presumption and the deceit of the heart. God also gives godly spouses to help many in this area.

Church falling apart

From an African Facebook friend. I spruced up the grammar and spelling, but this was his opinion of the church. I think he's on to something.

Churches today are so far in debt as they built new churches that hold 5/600 people; when only 100 show up they are busy trying to survive. They put a financial burden on the their congregations to build these places instead of filling the pews they had first.

Street missionaries work the street where no one else would go. Many inside the church walls say is it is too dangerous (Praise God Jesus didn't think so). The church people spend time fighting over color of paint to use for the church bathrooms while they overlook those outside their doors lost and destined for hell.

I've been to their churches and heard how their leaders have left because they could not lead them any more, because of the self righteousness of the people in the Church. They didn't know what they had done to the man of God that was sent to them. No longer do they want to hear the blood of the lamb, hell fire and brimstone "it's so old and not up to today's thinking." They want to feel good and not bear any shame of how they live in their sin. They have been lied to by false prophets and get rich quick TV evangelists. The world is coming apart yet they have been conformed to it and not transformed from it. They laid down in the middle of the fight and allowed division to come in. Now there is shipwreck.

The church today has fully conformed to the way of the world and not the way of Christ

Falling apart.

Never Confuse Anointing with Approval

I am saddened by the Body of Christ and the misunderstanding they have of the anointing of God on people called of God to a purpose. HE gives the anointing to accomplish HIS purposes. Somehow "Touch not my anointed" has become a misunderstood quote from the word of God that also means, put your discernment in a barrel and drive a bung in it. We may not touch the "anointed" but if we don't, God will and he will use whatever means possible to correct error.

God anoints even Donkeys to speak truth. He anoints fallen people who he can use for a time to accomplish what needs to be done. THEN as humans we think it's about the anointed, not his anointing. People who walked in great anointing falling and we think somehow we must treat those people as different from the rest of us who fall. When a person with a great anointing falls or misses God in sin, they need one thing - REPENTANCE. Perhaps God will bring them back. Otherwise the anointing they once had becomes wood hay and stubble. This applies to me too. It's not about the great work they once did, it's about who they are RIGHT NOW. Each of the men listed below have been used mightily. Some have come back. There's only one doorway to return. Humility, brokenness and repentance.

Paul Cain, Paul Crouch, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker, Ted Haggard and GENE, chief among sinners, need the grace of GOD in their lives to make it another day. So do Paula White and Benny Hinn. Greatly anointed. Greatly in need of repentance right now. I hope they find it.

I don't care how anointed you are. How anointed they are. How anointed your pastor is. How anointed the next big meeting leader is. We are all cracked clay vessels used by God for a season to fulfill the purpose of God in the earth. He might use me to bring a word of encouragement or hope to someone. Yet my flaws are evident. I need Jesus. I need his forgiveness in my life. So do all the other people in the roll above.

When anyone who carries a great anointing stumbles and falls, the key must be for that person to answer nothing, ask forgiveness, find accountability where it is lacking and beg to be let back into the flow of what brought them to that place of anointing.

Otherwise the great and anointed among us will be on that day found as Jesus described:

Matthew 7:21-23 (New Living Translation)

True Disciples
21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

Luke 13:3 (New International Version)

3I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

Lord, let none who you have placed your anointing on be found standing before you with heads hung down hearing the words, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ It's time for us to understand the anointing and get away from the hero worship of Minister Superstars that keeps THEM from falling on their face and begging forgiveness. EGO is used by the enemy to keep them from getting real. Forgive us all. I pray right now for Benny Hinn and Paula White that God will humiliate them to the point of repentance. That they will be unprotected from HIS discipline, even if it's unpleasant for a season, and that he will break them until broken and poured out they come back and can be used even greater in the Kingdom. IT may not be the prayer that others pray, but I pray that the hedge of protection around them be torn down. The anointing invested in these two is too great not to be refined by fire for greater glory.

Amen

Preaching out of Warfare will cause Distortions

Benny Hinn contemporaneous with the unfolding scandal of a Roman Tryst with Paula White preached in Sweden at a Word and Faith Conference hosted by Ulf Eckman. Hinn preached and used his platform to somehow twist the word to seem to justify himself. It took some gnostic twists.

I have advised that a person in the middle of warfare like a lawsuit, divorce, failure and even great pain physically might be better in service to wait until the full victory comes before mounting the platform. Not that there can't be testimonies of peace in the storm, but for the most part the warfare will shape every message. It will lack true edification.

I wanted to keep this whole thing on the back burner but now that the story is out there, I will have a hard time contriving how Hinn and White survive this mess. They won't.

You can read it here.
We must not be taken unawares.

I spent the last weekend hearing Pastor Abe Huber talk about the need to have a person in every SR leaders life who can hear that leader vomit up all the filth they are dealing with, pray for them and help them live in victory. EVERY SR LEADER.

Billy Graham needs one such and had it in Grady Nutt.

The verse from 1 Corinthians 5:12 is pretty clear:
It isn't my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning.
The bar is raised. Things are going to get rough if you are a SR leader in the Church and you don't fear God. To play fast and loose with the glory of God is Strange Fire. It will get you killed.

Or it will kill off your ministry or church. Lord let your glory come and let die those who mock you.

YOU NEED THE HOLY GHOST

David Wilkerson Today

MONDAY, JULY 26, 2010

Some have been saved for a number of years, some perhaps a year, and some just months or a few weeks. Being saved from sin is wonderful! Old things fade away—and all things become new. I am so glad you're saved!

But in order to be a good soldier in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ, it's not enough just to be saved. There is much more for you! You need to be baptized with the Holy Ghost!

In Paul's time, some believers didn't even know there was a Holy Ghost. "He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they 0said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost" (Acts 19:2). These people were saved, but it is clear they were not filled or baptized with the Holy Ghost.

I believe we are saved through the power and ministry of the Holy Ghost. But Scripture tells us that in addition to this, there is also a baptizing, an infilling, a possessing that the Holy Ghost does in us!

Jesus himself did not send his disciples and followers into the world until they were baptized with the Holy Ghost. Certainly his disciples had pure hearts. They had faith to heal the sick, to cast out devils. They had the Word of the Lord and already had been preaching Christ and gaining converts. They were witnesses to his resurrection. What more could there be? They were willing to die for Jesus! Wasn't their love for him enough to send them into the world to do his work?

Beloved, none of that was enough! Clearly, there was more. "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).

Do you really want the Holy Ghost? Do you want him to fall upon you and baptize you with fire? You have to be convinced this is for you. You must come to the place where you know you are nothing, have nothing and can do nothing without the power and leading of the Holy Ghost.

You must know he is still baptizing, still falling upon believers—possessing their bodies! "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is to unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:38–39).

Every hour of every day, multitudes worldwide are being baptized with the Holy Ghost! They have read of this promise in the Bible or have heard it preached. So they have cried out, claiming the promise, and they have been baptized!

The baptism is especially for those living in the last days. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh…. I will pour out in those days of my Spirit" (Acts 2:17–18). He is yours for the asking: "How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13).

God wants you to live and walk in the Spirit. You should not run to find someone else to meet a person's need. You are called to speak the Word of God as the Spirit moves on you, and to lay hands on the sick and cast out devils just as the apostles did. We are all called to be witnesses who are full of the Holy Ghost and power!

Benny Hinn - Uresolved Issues will Keep a Ministry from Prospering

Back in February I heard of the impending divorce of Benny Hinn. It grieved me. I knew this would have impacts ANY ministry he would attempt to carry on with a cloud over it. At the time I made a controversial statement that caused a lot of uproar. I advised by the Holy Spirit that until the Divorce was final and healing complete for Benny Hinn, he should stop his public ministry. Sure, meetings could go on, smaller, more intimate, with ministry to and from him by his closest friends. That the large public crusades should stop. This met with much opposition. I stand by what I believe I heard by the Spirit of God. Ministering out of your pain, even if you are Benny Hinn will cause you to become not only less effective but compromised.

Now a result of his continuing to attempt to plow forward has come to pass. When a man is in a situation as he is he must be very diligent to maintain absolute distance from women. Rumors have been spread about a relationship with Paula White. I don't believe them. BUT, the fact that Hinn has attempted business as usual has placed him in this situation.

He has been tainted. Even if it's not true. Even if he is innocent. Even if there isn't a shred of verity in any of the accusations, the taint is there and it will stick. It will influence his ministry. It will color his ability to move forward.

I know some will say, who are you to even question Hinn? I am who I am. I know what the call is. I wish I could have gotten a message to Hinn after the divorce filing. I didn't succeed. I did try.

So, now he must face false accusations. His ministry is less, smaller in people's eyes than it was. IF he had just taken a time off, cut back, stepped aside, just did partner meetings, no crusades, suspend the TV shows, he would be impervious during this time. He was a sitting duck.

It's too late now. The damage is done. He will not be able to unring the bell rung on him. Some will always believe the rumors.

I know it'a a hard stance, but divorce and ministry don't mix. It doesn't mean a divorced person can't be a minister, they just can't while the divorce is in process. They will always preach and teach from the pain they are feeling. IF a pastor or minister is going thru a divorce the MUST step down during the process. Nothing has changed about that truth.

Benny Hinn needs a man like Grady Nutt was to Billy Graham during his crusade days. Grady had permission to say, Dr Graham, I regret to tell you that you are full of crap again. Except rumor has it he didn't say crap. (Robert Townsend, Up the Organization).

Hinn doesn't have other than yes men in his life. No one to look him in the eye with truth. I was once offered the chance to go on staff with a good church. I turned it down. I said, "I wouldn't be a very good prophet if I were to be on staff, I would worry how my next word would affect my paycheck". So I won't and don't.

Benny Hinn NEEDS a prophet around him right now to keep him from the potholes ahead, some of which he dug himself. I don't know who that person will be. Not me for sure.

STOP THE FEAR!

Doubt and Fear is the Scourge of this age. People's hearts are failing them for fear. They are reacting in faithlessness. It's time to stop the fear. If news media propagates fear, shut it off. If friends or your church builds fear, get away. If you hear bad news and it causes fear, cry out. Fear is of the devil. He is using it right now to put YOU in bondage. It's built of myths, old wives tales, vain speculations, contentions and fleshly reason. Your God is not the Author of Fear. I read it in His Word and so can you.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
(NKJV)

Joshua 1:3-9
I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you ... No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.

Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
(NLT)

1 Chronicles 28:20
David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.
(NIV)

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
(NKJV)

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
(NIV)

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
(NIV)

Isaiah 41:13
For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
(NIV)

Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
(NKJV)

Matthew 10:26
Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
(NKJV)

Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
(NKJV)

Romans 8:15
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
(KJV)

1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.
(NIV)

2 Corinthians 4:7-11
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body.
(NIV)

Philippians 1:12-14
Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.
(NIV)

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
(NLT)

For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
(NKJV)

1 Peter 3:13-14
Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened."
(NIV)

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
(NIV)

A hard question

I have a question for those in Sr Church and Ministry Leadership. IF a prophet knows something about the future of your ministry and it differs from the vision, hopes, dreams and faith declarations you are making, do you as a leader want to hear what the prophet says? Or would you rather fly blind. AND, how will you... deal with the prophetic word if it is different from what you believe your future is by faith?

A Prophetic Rebuke to the Body of Christ

IF you heed the Prophets you will Prosper (2 Chronicles 20:20): Two weeks after the Big Oil Spill in the gulf of Mexico I sought the Lord for a prophetic viewpoint on the situation. He was clear and I posted May 11 what you see in the link for all to see.

From that time until the last week or so I ...have heard such foolishness from the Body of Christ about the oil spill that I am issuing a public rebuke . Quit buying into every conspiracy and goofy theory that comes along. Seek God. If you don't hear from Him, look at what TRUSTED prophets are saying.

Christians look foolish when we propagate such stories as a huge underground explosion, leak that never stops, evacuations, exploding whales, end of the world and beginning of tribulation speculations. Paul, the Apostle, said don't engage in these vain speculations.

I know I will offend some people, but we have to grow up. We have to start hearing from God in our lives. I have shared the prophesy in the link with many people since the gulf oil spill. At the beginning I was discounted as a Prophet for this. Now the reality is setting in. If you keep an eye on the news you will see that everything the Lord said has and IS coming to pass.

Skimmers can't find hardly any oil slick in the gulf now, they are giving up. Oil is not washing up much any more. The oil plumes under the water are gone. The oil that has washed up is being degraded and will be gone in less than a year. The spill early on and contemporary with the word given was being described as 5000 barrels a day, it was much worse and the public and private incompetence was put on full display. Now a tropical storm, first of several, is moving thru the gulf over the remaining particles and after this there will be nearly no evidence other than what we saw earlier.

Meanwhile CHRISTIANS hearts failed them for fear during this time. They fed each other myths and old wives tales. That is NOT the purpose of God for his people. HE did not GIVE US as Spirit of FEAR. I met yesterday with a businessman who I know, he asked me what I thought he should do in light of the coming economic difficulties to come. I told him, TRUST GOD with all your heart. There is no other option. Any fleshly preparation will be wood hay and stubble.

Listen to the Prophets and you will succeed.

HINDRANCES TO GROWING IN GRACE

David Wilkerson Today

THURSDAY, JULY 22, 2010

In Ephesians 4:31, Paul lists things we must remove from our lives if we are to grow in the grace of Christ: "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice."

We dare not skip over these issues on Paul's list. The apostle says we absolutely must face these things if we are to grow in grace. If you ignore the heart issues Paul mentions here, you will grieve the Holy Spirit. Your growth will be stunted, and you'll end up a spiritual zombie.

The first three items on Paul's list—bitterness, wrath and anger—are self-explanatory. Bitterness is a refusal to let go of an old wound or forgive a past wrong. Wrath is a stronghold of resentment coupled with a hope to gain revenge. Anger is exasperation—either a quick explosive outburst or a slow burn of indignation toward someone. Evil speaking are words that tear down—it is the opposite of edifying someone or speaking words of edification; evil speaking is malicious, hurtful.

Clamor is a sudden outburst over nothing—an unnecessary hubbub, a loud noise made for no purpose. We cause a clamor when we make a big issue out of something insignificant, or cause a scene rather than trying to help or heal.

The final item on Paul's list is malice. Malice is the desire to see someone else suffer. For many Christians malice means hoping God will punish someone who wounded them. It's a devilish spirit, and it's usually hidden deep within the heart.

When Paul says "Put away all these evils from you," he's not talking about a quick fix. He's describing a process—a matter of growth that takes time. At times, we may fail at ridding ourselves of these evils. But if we will quickly repent, and commit to making things right with the person, over time these issues will fade away.

How Real Life Looks in the Prophetic

Last night at GWMI in Chicago was an off the hook experience. What started out as teaching and worship began to migrate to a burning away of the flesh. Then to one person needing deliverance. Then the prophetic flowed.

SOON, the Spirit of God made a call on those who were bound or oppressed by the devil were called... for deliverance.

Deliverance took place. Amazing deliverance. People crying out, manifesting, writhing. The kind of thing you hear about overseas. The kind of thing you read about in the New Testament. But it happened right here in Chicago.

So, what was the plan? Did Apostle Hester decide, "Gee, I think we'll have a deliverance service tonight". Nope, when the Holy Ghost enters a service there is no plan. It's impossible for most churches to do this. The fact that the leadership demands predictability in a church service precludes any action of the Holy Spirit. Oh, there might be a little bit. But, mostly not.

I was thrilled, I have been in services like this before. I love to see the devil defeated. Peggy was a bit freaked out. People responding like this can be a bit disturbing.

SO, why did this happen? There was perfect order in the house. The move of the Spirit and the Fire of God comes when the Apostolic and Prophetic flow together to lay another layer of the firm foundation of the Church.

Yet, when leaders want to control the flow I guarantee NOTHING will happen.
Well things happen when Holy Ghost people move as one.

AS ONE. In Unity. Then the Spirit of God Acts. Last night another chapter was added to the book of Acts of the Holy Spirit. You just read it.

Living Jame 4:13-15 - The Call on the Body of Christ TODAY

Jame4: 13 Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” 14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. 15 What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.”

Sometimes I have a sense that Father looks at the plans I make and smiles. He sees the beginning from the end. He knows the plans he has for ME. Not those I have for HIM.

When we make long term plans that exclude the possibility that Father might change them, we fool ourselves. IF GOD WILLS, is not a passive activity. It's active. More important is getting ahead of where God is taking us. Sometimes we need to have goals and ambitions subject to the changes Father wants to make in and for us.

I heard Father say:

Don't create deadlines you expect ME to meet. Don't pretend to know the day or the hour of when I should move. Be prepared to wait and then to act when I open the door of opportunity. Sow seed in words and a declaration of your future. Just be careful not to try to make those words dependant on My acting inside your time. I created time, I am not constrained by it. I am not controlled by it. It is a gift I give, the next breath you take is a gift, the next second is a gift of grace from Me.

Seek my face and ask Me to open the doors you need open. I may have a better door. It may be that when you walk thru that door it will be one that leads to more than you could possibly think or imagine. It's my promise to you that whatever limitations you place on me, I can offer more. I will.

If you step out believing that you are moving ahead in my will and do so without knowing, I will remove my hand from your action. I won't love you less, I won't withdraw my mercy, you just may be delaying or derailing a plan I had for you. Your destiny is wrapped up in who I am in YOU. More important who you are in ME.

So, make plans, set goals, let the desires of you heart be made known to ME and I will hear you. There is nothing I want more for you than your purpose and destiny in ME fulfilled. I placed you on this earth for such a time as this. You could have been born a thousand years ago or a thousand years from now, but I chose you to be here NOW to be the hands and feet I place on the earth.

So, say, as the LORD WILLS, I will do thus and so. Move ahead, one step at a time and I will reveal Myself to you.

Evenso, come Lord. COME

Don't fear the Thunder

As I live in Agriculture, I learn to love the rain storms that bring life.

Many times those that have the most life in them are the ones that are the scariest when they happen. Thunder, Lightening, Wind, sometimes hail and all around unpleasantness while it's going on.

The result is new life, growth, vitality, washing away of filth, uncovering stones in the way and a refreshing like nothing else can bring. It even smells right.

Yet the storm is called by the media, bad weather, danger, warning.

There is a storm in the Spirit going on. You see it all around you. Anger. Hatred. Fear. Danger. It's in the media. It's thunder. It's just a reaction to what really happened, the lightening. It's the result of change coming. It's a harbinger and an indicator that the storm is near.

The storm will bring new vitality. The church may or may not take part in this storm. It may just try to stay in the basement and hide from the effects of the storm. Those that do will become even less effective.

Yet the storm will form new growth. This is about the state of our nation. All around we see despair and pain. People angry. It's just thunder.

The real storm comes as rain that washes and exposes, wind that blows away filth, lightening that kills what it strikes.

In the end it will smell better. The world will be different. Like after a large wind, even a tornado, there will be debris to clean up. Branches down, weak structures destroyed. But the result will be a new start.

Remembering the time before the storm will become a useless enterprise. It will be past, long past. And without fruit.

The storm is coming and it will tear down before it builds up. You can do nothing about it.

New life is coming.

"In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus." Romans 6:11

What are the things that arouse the strongest emotions in you? Perhaps it is a rude motorist who cuts you off in traffic. Perhaps it is the anger you feel when you are wrongfully accused. Perhaps it is frustration that results from not having enough money to meet perceived needs. When do emotions turn into sin? Anger itself is not sin. Jesus had righteous anger when they sold doves in the temple.

Whenever our peace is upset over events and circumstances in life, we have moved past emotions into sin. Sin says that circumstances of life now dictate anxiety, worry, fear, or anger. Consider the attributes of a dead man. He does not get angry when slandered. He does not worry about the future. He does not fear what can be done to him. Why? Because he is dead. Nothing can harm a dead man.

Christ said we are to live as if we are dead - dead to the temptation of responding to stimuli in our life that are designed to stir up the sinful nature that resides in each of us. We do not have to respond to that nature; we can consider it dead. Christ said He is enough. When He is our all in all, nothing can move us. If we are moved, then Christ is not our all in all. This does not mean we cannot have strong emotion about our circumstance, it means we do not sin. Christ had strong emotions in the Garden of Gethsemane, yet He sinned not.

Bringing forth Tabernacles by Michael King

Bringing Forth Tabernacles

The spiritual fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles is coming and it will be both glorious and agonizing. Glorious because through this spiritual experience we will manifest "God with us" and agonizing because it will uproot and profoundly change what is currently accepted as normative Christian doctrine.

Essentially, Tabernacles is the final choice in the gentile church age. Through this experience God forces believers to choose between what the Holy Spirit speaks and what they have been taught is sound doctrine. Moreover, the Spirit of God will not explain why we must follow His voice but will only say "come." While what we will be asked to believe and do will seem to be against much of what we hold to be holy and righteous beyond doubt we will know it is God calling. For example, it is written in the gospel of John 6:53,

"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you."

Forced to make a choice an intellectual rending will take place while we choose to forsake the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. As it says in John 6: 66,

"From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him." (After they heard His hard saying)

Many shall violently oppose this moving of the Holy Spirit and try to persuade others that what they are receiving from God is actually from the Devil. Indeed, only a few will have the courage to step away from what they consider to be safe and totally trust Jesus.

For example in Matthew 12:24,

"But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils."

Currently Christianity is overly focused upon "safety." Here is a truth,

"Theologians today are mostly concerned with protecting what little we have left rather than fighting to regain all that we have lost."

The truth is, we are not advancing and taking back ground but rather we are gathering into our fortified cities of normative doctrine and trying to protect what little we have left while the enemy rampages throughout the rest of the land. Much of our theology is "fear based" and as such we do not wish to reach out and encompass new truths but rather want to withdraw and protect against perceived heresies.

If God did not give us a spirit of fear then when our principles are based upon fear there is at least an element to them that is also not of Him. Fear clouds our understanding of the Father for we will not trust Him to lead and guide us into all truth because we reject anything new.

But God promises to give good things to them that ask in Matthew 7:9,

"Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?"

The coming revival cannot survive and prosper within the current religious system. Though it may start within establish congregations, at some point the leadership will either attempt to quench the Spirit or they will seek to cast out those who accept and follow Gods voice. This is the birth pangs that are spoken of in chapter twelve of the book of Revelation. It is not the experience of Tabernacles that is to blame but rather the false theological foundations upon which these churches are built that is the fundamental reason for the coming separation.

In conclusion, let us explore this undiscovered country with courage and faith. I declare to you with certainty that we are well able to take this Promised Land.

God Bless,

The day that the devil has most greatly feared is here

By Jeffrey Stewart

The devil's greatest fear is the day the Sons and Daughters of God realize who they are. That day is now here. We are the most heavily armed, heavily protected, heavily blessed, heavily empowered created beings in the Universe. Revelation from Heaven will change our very demeanors and cause how we walk and talk to radically change over the next few months. We will walk in full awareness of who we are to both God and the devil. No force or plan of the enemy will be able to stop us. If the gates of hell cannot prevail against us, nothing the devil tries IN THIS REALM shall be able to resist us, because Jesus is going ahead of us and will use us to establish His dominance and displace the enemy's works, some of which have been in place untouched for hundreds of years. Before Jesus Himself returns bodily there will be no doubt whatsoever that the Lord's Children are the visible representatives of His Throne in the earth realm.

"I am a God of justice. And while I have made provision for forgiveness and mercy for man, none such provision exists for fallen angels. Every wrong they commit against MY CHILDEN is recorded in heaven and this is the day of reckoning. Beginning with when they prompted men to crucify My Son to the present day, EVERY WRONG SHALL BE REPAID against the Kingdom of Darkness. The Law of Sowing and Reaping does not just apply to man. They have sown fear, and now they shall fear. They have sown confusion, they shall reap confusion. They have sown despair, they shall reap despair. For I will repay EVERY WRONG done to my children, says the Lord. This is the day they have most greatly feared"

Psalm 149

6 May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands,

7 to inflict vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples,

8 to bind their kings with fetters,
their nobles with shackles of iron,

9 to carry out the sentence written against them.
This is the glory of all his saints.
Praise the LORD.

Is Prominence the work of Jezebel?

I'm starting to wonder if prominence isn't a hindrance to the prophetic office.

I just read Chuck Pierce's word on the Gulf Oil disaster. It's good but it's just an echo of what was said by many prophets of less prominence 60 days ago.

I read what Paul Keith Davis said.
GOOD, but late and cautious. I wonder if fear and concern for the bookings for the future doesn't put these good men in chains. I don't think in earlier years of lesser prominence they would have been so careful. What we need now is boldness and courage in the Prophetic.

If placing men like this on platforms causes them to become silent, that is a work of Jezebel. To silence the prophets. Chuck and Paul, we need your gift. Being insipid and late is not the Prophetic Office you were called to. Be bold and strong. Break off those chains of inhibition. Bring a NOW word with courage and by the Spirit of the Living God.

Prophets PROPHESY.

Special 4th of July Message by Rick Joyner

Rick Joyner:
Special 4th of July Message by Rick Joyner

The biggest open door for tyranny is for God's people to be passive. If we are Christians, we have a mandate from God to be the salt and light wherever He has placed us. America has been sliding into tyranny for decades but the pace has now accelerated. Even so, it can still be stopped and reversed if God's people will wake up and get engaged in turning the nation back toward her divinely given purpose. If God's people do awaken and become engaged, we will not only avoid the abyss we are now so dangerously close to, but our best times could be ahead of us.

Pray for the Right Leadership

There are examples in history where nations have fallen to their deepest depravity, then a revival or spiritual awakening was ignited, and they rose to their greatest spiritual heights as a nation. Movements such as The Tea Party Movement is evidence that many are waking up and have considerable resolve to turn the nation back to its roots, its strength, and its very life source. However, there is one element missing—clear, defined, and capable leadership.

Immature or evil leadership are judgments of God upon nations that have fallen into debauchery as we see in Isaiah 5. Good, wise, and capable leadership is likewise a blessing from God. We must pray for our leaders as we are commanded, and we need to pray for the right leadership. For this reason, we should view the incompetence and evil of many who are presently in authority around the world as judgment. Our first priority must be to return to God, not just look for better leaders. We are told in II Chronicles 7:14:

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (NKJV).

We see here that the healing of the land begins with God's people doing the following: 1) humbling themselves, 2) praying, 3) seeking God's face, and 4) turning from their wicked ways.

How God Sees Judgment

Could it be that, as with Jonah, the reason for the great storm that has come upon our ship is not because of the heathen, but because of the rebellious prophet? Just as the heathen had to wake up Jonah and convince him to call on his God, in many ways even the heathen are doing this today. On every front, problems are beyond human remedy, and they are starting to understand this.

As a prophetic voice given to represent God in the nations as salt and light, we have a responsibility to speak out against the wrong that is done by our leaders or the people. We also must always humble ourselves, and look to ourselves, repenting of the evil that we are doing first. This does not mean that we cannot speak out until we are perfect, or we would never speak. However, when we speak out after humbling ourselves, the words will not have that self-righteous air to them, but rather the cry of an anointed appeal from God to save those whom He loves, which includes everyone. For this reason we are told in I Peter 4:17, "For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God."

Many kinds of judgment are in Scripture—one is condemnation and one is destruction, but the rest are discipline from the Lord. As we are told in Hebrews 12, the Lord disciplines those whom He loves. Therefore, the judgments we are suffering are because He loves us, and He is seeking to turn us back from the path of destruction we are on. This judgment has to start with His own people because how can He judge the nations for the things that even His own people are doing?

Keep Humility Above ALL Things

We must remember that the path to having our land healed begins with God's people humbling themselves. Our declarations against the evil deeds of our leaders, or the people, will not come with outrage and anger as much as an appeal seasoned with humility. We must always keep in mind that "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6 NKJV).

The only way to get out of the mess we are in is by God's grace, so we must keep humility above all things. This does not mean that we are weak or in any way compromising in our declarations and challenges to the times, but we are taking our stand to appeal to God even more than appealing to men. Only then can we hope to be truly victorious because, as Jesus Himself said in Matthew 12:28: "But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you."

If we are going to cast the evil out, we will have to abide in and speak by the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is always recognized by the fruit of the Spirit, which is the following: "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control" (see Galatians 5:22-23).

When a Person dies with Unconfessed Sin... Heaven or Hell?

If we can understand the Father heart of God, we can understand how he deals with our sin. Even the very last sin we ever commit. Without it we deal with sin by human understanding

We cannot get the sin out of our lives. It's there. It's part of our flesh. It's something we will do battle with until our last breath. We can do nothing about it. John the Apostle said it best to BELIEVERS. "IF we say we have no sin we are deceived and without truth in us." I didn't say that. Read chapter one of First John. It's all there. So sin is ever with us. We confess it and Jesus forgives. That much everyone can agree on.

So, what of the unconfessed sin? One where a person never had a chance to confess? One where in a moment of failure and weakness a person has just sinned, then an atom bomb goes off. Heaven or HELL? What is his or her future? I mean the sin wasn't confessed.

Does God then say, "Well, I know you were my son, confessed Jesus as your savior, was faithful for all those years and then, you messed up; you just didn't get that confession in on time." HELL awaits. That would make Father God a vindictive IRS agent.

How foolish to think such a thing. Let's see if we can understand.

Salvation is a gift of Grace. It's unmerited favor. You didn't earn it because of anything you did, you can't lose it by being stupid in something you did. Ephesians 2:8-9 This is not a license to sin, just step away from the fear in your life from religious condemnation: Romans 8:1

IF you didn't earn it by being good, you can't lose it by being bad.

OH, it may be possible to claw your way to hell after being saved, but it requires more will than I have ever known anyone to have. Once you have received a glimpse of Glory you will not go back. Even if you fall into temporary delusions that end your life.

If you have children, they are precious to you. They are the focus of your preservation. You will do anything you know how to do to bring them to maturity. And you aren't very good at it since you are mortal and not God. But you do what you must. You give and give and even if they seemingly walk away from you, you keep calling them home.

IF one of those children rebels, gets into a bad place, does very bad things, they are still your child. You still love them. You still want the best for them. You will still will receive them into your home. Even if they take you for granted. They might even seem to reject you, but when they find themselves in terrible trouble they will speak your name, particularly if you are a mom. Remember, this is how WE deal with and care for our natural children. And we are sinful humans.

How much MORE will our Heavenly Father deal with us even more graciously when we fall and fail. Even when we do in the worst ways. He doesn't reject us because of our sin. IF He did he would be saying to us, "The price paid on the cross was not sufficient". Really? Of course the price was sufficient. One drop of Jesus blood would have been enough to wash away every sin ever committed. But He sent a FLOOD to push back anything the enemy raises against us. "For he will come like a raging flood tide driven by the breath of the LORD". Isaiah 59:19b

Now to the hard question. If a person takes their own life in a moment of despair and pain or if they are murdered on the street while engaged in something evil or if their life ends early in an auto accident while drunk, in other words they die in a moment of failure, do they go to heaven or hell? I know what tradition says: Let's see what Jesus said about tradition, "You make word of God of No Effect because of your traditions". Mark 7:13

IF a person is a son or daughter of the Father, a free gift he gave, a covenant he keeps, then is there any sin that can separate (Romans 8:38-39) or pluck them out of the hand of God (John 10:28)?

Nothing.

Or we would all be lost because we sin daily.

That is the REAL answer to the hard question people ask in these times.

Can one lose their salvation? I suppose it is possible to renounce any trust or faith in Jesus blood and His sacrifice at the cross. But, that would presuppose that they knew it at one time. And if you did know it, wouldn't that be very difficult? Or even impossible?

I have known good, even great men of God who struggle with their emotions up and down who find themselves at the end of themselves and in a moment of failure end it in a suicide. That last sin was unconfessed. Based on what we have seen I'm not God, but I know His Fathers heart. He would call to them. And they to Him. And He brings them HOME to stay. Just like a prodigal who stumbles home smelling of a pigpen. Father doesn't reject, he runs.

Looking into the Father Heart of God we can have even the Hard questions answered.

I heard the Lord Say, "Stop inviting people to Church"

Early this morning this word came. Strange no?

Yet as I waited I got clarity. Many of what we think is evangelism is inviting people to a meeting or a church service. It can be but is far less than we think.

Millions of unsaved souls ended up in Hell because at one time or another they were invited to church rather than being won for the kingdom by the witness of a victorious life. Millions more have watched television and seen some of the foolishness that goes on in the name of Jesus. Any heart they ever had was hardened by what they saw and heard.

Church might be the worst place to find rest in God.

I know now I have lots of people upset. BUT, I got this from the throne this morning so you will have to take it up with HIM.

People want to see our lives, in order, happy, fulfilled, at peace, joyful, steady, victorious. That's what the world is looking for in these unsteady times. As the economy lurches and retreats they will need to see it even more.

Church may not be the place to see that any more than going to a hospital's ICU can help you learn to live healthy in your body. Church is a place...FOR BELIEVERS. The idea of an unbeliever coming into a church service to get saved in the early church was not on the agenda. Yes, if one did and they saw and heard the gifts of the Spirit move it might help them get saved, but the assembly of the brethren was to encourage one another as the day draws near.

You and I must live a lifestyle of evangelism that attracts. People must look at OUR lives and ask, what does this mean? As they did on the day of Pentecost when 3000 were added.

It's not JUST our love, it's our outward witness of the Fruit of the Spirit. I will admit in me I fail often, but succeed enough to keep trying.

We must live inside our victory. Daily. Taking up the Cross of Victory and denying that we have anything in ourselves other than that paid in blood. Assuming we have anything to do with this is pride, the sin of plagiarism of God.

So, stop inviting people to church to get saved. If they want to come, don't forbid them. Let them pursue what you possess. Once they have had a taste of the Glory of God they will want more. But first they must see that Glory in YOU!

LIVE IT and they will come. BUILD IT and they may not. There are a lot of big empty megachurch buildings right now to prove that.
