truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and
dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many
seeds. John 12:24
I have watched, been part of known of many churches that simply closed their doors... the seed that was there moves on and multiplies. I think sometimes when a church reaches a place of fruitlessness. Jesus lays the example and tells us what must be done from Mark 11:
The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it............... In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
The condemnation of the tree was for fruitlessness, the verdict was Death and that no ONE EVER would eat from that particular tree again. The implication of the verses that follow which are often used to itemize the power of words and faith, more have to do with what SHOULD be happening in Dead Churches. Mountain Moving Faith, Doubt being killed, Prayer, Forgiveness and confession of the thing God has promised. These verses show us the state of the dead church. Faithlessness and Fruitlessness.
In case anyone thinks this fig tree has to with Israel (some attempt to explain this away that way), if you understand that WE are now Israel in the sense of our purpose and placement.
YES, God is going to close down fruitless and faithless churches. I know of many. Let the seed be scattered and maybe someday life could return to the building so commissioned. We are the church.. but we must produce FRUIT AND FAITH

I started to share something along these lines, but the Spirit of the Lord has spoken well through Robert Blackburn. What I was going to simply say is "People do not truly want to hear from the Prophets of the Lord, who both carry and speak with the Mantles of Old and New Testament Prophets and Apostles...those called to anchor and purify the Bride who see by the Spirit things far off in the future and warn, who see that which hinders Heaven from moving through the congregations, that which grieves the Holy Spirit and defiles the Altars, calling people to get rid of their idols...if God be God serve Him, but if Baal, serve him...very narrow and uncompromising declarations that often put the Prophet in an unpopular position among the System...
so they speak from the dessert, the wilderness...The Jeremiahs & John The Baptist, yet they suffer unnecessary challenges because they are not supported as they should be CONT. on homepage
