Jo Ellen Stevens ~Open Up The Sky And Let Down The Ladder~

I was at a Kari Jobe concert one night with some friends and my husband and it was more of a worship experience than a concert. All at once this concert went into an intense time of worship and people were in the isles on their knees sobbing like babies. I opened my eyes at one point and there in front of me was Kari singing and an iridescent rainbow colored ladder was coming through the ceiling and came down and was attached to her back. It was electric and alive ..

At first I thought it was a part of a light show so I asked my husband if he saw it and he said no that he hadn't and I asked my friends and they had not seen it either. I then realized that I was seeing an open vision.
I asked the Lord what that was when I got home that evening and he said that it was the Ladder that Jacob had seen that the angels of God were ascending and descending upon into the earth and that we become the gates of The Lord of hosts when we lift up our heads in worship to him that allow heavens armies into the earth as it says in Psalms 24.
Genesis 28:12 (KJ21) "And he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it."
V. 16-19 "And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I knew it not.”
And he was afraid and said, “How fearsome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar and poured oil upon the top of it.
And he called the name of that place Bethel [that is, The house of God]; but the name of that city was called Luz at the first."
Psalms 24.7-8 "Lift up your heads, O ye gates! And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle."
You see we now are that house of God where Jacob made an altar so we are that Gate of heaven.. Jesus said that what we allow on earth is allowed or whatever we forbid is forbidden.. We have the authority and when we worship we are speaking God's word and we are singing and speaking of what is already settled in heaven! We then become the gate that allows this that is finished to come into our atmosphere.. Oh Glory to God!! We let down the Ladder so to speak as we worship!! So ask yourself today...What or who am I allowing into my Home, my city, or even my country!! It is time to become that house of worship and prayer that Jesus said His house should be and let down the ladder!! Glory to God!!
