There are always people ready to come in and be help.
BUT, in the days to come will be such that there will be no one to come help from the outside. There will be no outside. We will all go thru this together. The whole world. There will be no rapture out of the mess. This is not the great tribulation, it is a time of troubles. It is in fact the work of God to bring people to himself. Jesus is not coming back in the middle of all this except in the hearts and hands of his Body on Earth. People will perish because they cannot discern the Body of Christ all around. It's an introduction to a new age.
The church we know today will collapse. We aren't ready.
My friend Ron from Christchurch NZ just experienced another earthquake yesterday. Not as big but a pummeling that is beginning to take a toll.
He writes (read the whole thing):
This Tuesday, the streets were full of people, because many work places and schools had not yet reopened. People will out with shovels and wheelbarrows, starting on the task of shoveling silt from their lawns and gardens. Where liquefaction had come up through cracked foundations, people were shoveling sandy silt out of their houses. In a few cases a bit of sewage is mixed in. This was the third time that many had undertaken this task.
.................
The earthquake is not my real worry. The aftershocks will fade and disappear in less than a year. But that is not the end of distress. Our nation has lost the blessing of God, so there are worse economic shocks and social distress to come. My real worry is that the the body of Christ is almost totally unprepared for the opportunities that lie ahead.
I know we are not ready. People won't have money. Or gasoline. This will bring out the very best in people..and the worst. This will reveal the REAL JESUS on the earth in his Body and those who are pretenders. I appeal by the Spirit of GOD to all senior church leaders to take this warning seriously. Prepare your people to endure. Be ready for victory. It will be much different than you think.

Thank you Prophet Gene for matter of factly stating," this is not the tribulation...", there are so many ideas out there built of ones own interpretation and seemingly backed by scripture, one can get confused easily. So many saying seemingly the same thing, but with a different twist, like an alternate ending at the end of most dvd movies. It is difficult to know only the truth in this enviornment with so many offering seeminly the same synopsis, but not the same. Most are silent, and offer no guidence. I know it is not the end, but it confuses me when people who are seeing what I'm seeing offer a, "this is the end" synopsis. I some of us who are appointed and prepared make it through victorioulsy. God bless

I have to wonder just exactly what I should do to prepare. For example, will guns and ammo be more valuable than gold and silver?
Here is a blog that is an interesting read, "Thoughts on Urban Survival"

How will you be? Will you still be able to have supportive fellowship, if there is no money or gasoline? Just curious.
