I began to write this message out below when Minot, North Dakota was capturing the headlines around the nation as the flood waters continued to rise. I have personally ministered in Minot a number of times, have walked the streets, and have seen firsthand the prolific harvest and its readiness to hear the Gospel. I pray this word urges Minot forward as it continues to realign to the harvest that is ready and white. There is no other alternative now – harvest!
Prophetic Word Over Minot, North Dakota
"Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest..." Joshua 3:15
God says, "Even as Joshua and the priests approached the flooded waters of the Jordan during its harvest so is Minot, ND standing at the threshold of the greatest breakthrough in its history. Even as the eyes of the world watched, now will they see My glory rise in the midst of every common man and woman. The trumpets of victory are about to sound sending a shock wave of victory into the most stubborn resistance and finally felling the walls of division, religion and sin.
"Mark it down – your harvest is imminent and the seeds of revival planted over 100 years ago in your soil are even now breaking the fallow ground. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy! (Psalm 126:5)
"The Ark of My presence is about to pass through, even as it did in Joshua's day and your orders are the same as it was then: And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it... (Joshua 3:3)
"Go after it," says the Lord! "Do not stand on the sidelines any longer; it's time to get into the field! As Ruth in the Bible your strategy is clear: And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, 'Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace.' And she said unto her, 'Go, my daughter.' And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers... (Ruth 2:2-3)
"Now is the time to move forward – to take back your highways and byways and every dark place for the Kingdom of your God. See? I have anointed your feet during the time of this flood. It's a historic precipice and like the priests before – you will stand in the flood waters and make a way for the people to walk into the future. You are My Ruth and I have designated this time as a bountiful harvest for you and I will give you favor even with your enemies. So the people left their camp to cross the Jordan, and the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant went ahead of them. (Joshua 3:14)
"The debris of past resistance that clogged and snagged up the river of My intentions is also being washed away; certainly what your enemy meant for evil I have always intended for good, and now it will work out in your favor," says the Lord. The Lord says, "Take notice of the babies born during this crisis – they are a sign to you as well. They are the first fruits of the harvesters that are coming out of this season – the youth and those that are crossing over. Take note of those born during this time and this flood – they are from the Lord! Your harvest is upon you."
"You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as men rejoice when dividing the plunder." Isaiah 9:3
