God's Joy is Being Heard by YOU

I received a word last night regarding the joy of the Lord. Not OUR joy. He joys over us with singing.

What makes Him sing with joy?

It is in part our worship. It is our passion. It is in part our study. It is in part our prayer to him.

BUT,

I began to think about what it is that gives him great joy....I believe I heard the voice of God say to me, "I love that you love me enough to listen to me, When you do I am moved with great Joy over you and I am so satisfied in you".

It's like the relationship we have with a loved one. Sometimes the best thing we can do is not to praise the, not to talk to them, but to LISTEN TO THEM.

The Father is the same way. He want's to be heard.

He wants to speak to us thru his word, thru his prophets, thru his preaching.

On Sunday Pastor Phil engaged in some prophetic preaching. It's a long list of God saying I AM.

That's what God wants to have us to hear in our Spirit. How much he loves us. How sufficient he is. How HE IS.

And then when we have heard, OBEY.

Not just hearers but doers of the word as well.

That's the heart of GOD in Joy over YOU and ME.

one thing that i hear/read alot of is the word "I", my question is this: If your are a prophet then shouldn't alot of this be God and not I?

OK StS,
I'll bite.

You rewrite the post and edit out all the inappropriate I's and see if it reads at all.

In rereading it the I personal pronoun was used as it should be. It was important to say that this was an impression I believe I heard. The other I's are the direct voice of God. I suppose I could play the third person game.

That' would be phony and silly.

It is what it should be. But, if you think you can make that post read better without I's have at it.

Methinks you are straining at Gnats. You certainly do not understand the prophetic gift and what it does and how it behaves. There has in these posts sources offered to educate. Apparently these have not been accessed by you.

What we aren't up on, we are down on.

I thank you for your clarification. You are correct in the fact that i don't understand the prophetic gift. It's not my gift. You say it is yours. The very first word was (from my perspective) directed toward you, "I received" when i feel it should have been differently. I hope i may bite at your challenge. If i fail, i fail, but i shall try.

I edited out what I thought the inappropriate "I" was, yes i only found one. PERSONALLY (JUST MY THOUGHT HERE) I would have opened by directing all glory to God and trying to draw away from me as much as possible. There were 4 "I" that referred to you, 3 coming from God, and 1 using one of God's many names, for a total of 8. I may have failed, but i tried. I believe I have fulfilled your proposal.
