The Prophetic Promises of GOD sometimes are seen thru a Glass Darkly

On December 31, 2009 after seeking God for a word HE gave me this word that seems to relate to the Haitian Situation. If it does, this will mean redemption, recovery and newness from the rubble for people who have known nothing but poverty and pain. And, it means that RAIN is on the way. Rain of Mercy and Rain.....

Geophysical Change
The shakings and upheavals will continue. Don't be surprised by anything that happens. I am using them to bring people to Me. Pay little attention to the predictions of Man. When it comes to weather, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, floods and droughts never forget. I am the GOD of all things, even the weather.

I use the weather to humble the arrogant. I created all things and all things hold together in me. Do not call what I created for good, evil. Carbon Dioxide is not poison. It's part of my purpose in life.

I can change a nation in Moment. Sometimes I use events to accomplish my purposes. Five years ago I changed Indonesia. I will do what I will do. It's not anger, it's not always even judgment. It's creating a way for those who have lost sight of who I AM to discover ME. Watch for the fruit of what I am doing.

Things will intensify. Signs in the sky. A double full Moon in a single month is a sign. Change is coming and you will see it everywhere. Fear not. It has always been so. Have faith in Me. I am the God that heals you. Makes you whole and preserves you in the pestilence, flood and famine.

After three days, I will send healing rain. Sweet rain. Expect a rain (reign) of mercy. It's on the way.

Prophetic Perspective: Haiti is the physical analogy of the USA's spiritual and economic condition

Jeffrey Stewart commented on Haiti. While I struggle with the whole pact with the Devil thing, Have we in the USA also not made a pact with Evil? I think Jeffrey Stewart's Prophetic Perspective is worth considering:

There are parallels

Haiti - made an agreement with the devil in 1790 according to some sources. Told the devil they'd serve him if he delivered them from Napoleon III's rule. So they became the center of witchcraft in the western world, source of voodoo and other things. A curse is associated with that, so they ALSO became the poorest country in the western world, beset by poverty, coup de etat's (simply re-enacting the devil's pattern on earth), this earthquake being the worst thing to happen to them, with now nearly 40 aftershocks in averaging around 5.0. Now people are running down streets crying out to God to save them.

USA - economic system made a deal with Babylon. Rather than adopting the Lord's ways, chose the Babylon way of enslaving people to debt just like Babylon enslaved Israel. In some ways, America too "sold her soul" to greed and other things. A shaking has begun here too and will continue just like those aftershocks in Haiti, until our citizens run down the streets crying out to God, who will also save them.

Haiti is the physical analogy of the USA's spiritual and economic condition.

Was this Prophetic Vision from yesterday morning one warning of the Earthquake in Haiti?

I don't know, but when I heard about the devastation in the streets of Haiti my mind went to the images I saw in the spirit early yesterday morning.  It is a picture of what happened and is happening.

""When the housing market goes down further, when commercial real estate collapses, when stock markets collapse, when currency is devalued to ten percent of it's former value, when people no longer have any hope for work and all unemployment ceases, when cities and states file for bankruptcy and people are left stranded, when the federal government that is now in practicality bankrupt declares itself, when money stops, when credit becomes impossible and people are on the streets begging, then the harvest fields will fall quickly fully ripe before the harvester to begin to worship the living and true God"".

Now a day later as I reflect on what that part of the word said, perhaps the real question is this, is the REST of the word a warning to the Church?

""There will be faithful Holy Ghost led people and groups who will be there to walk as point in this great harvest. It will contain fewer of those we all thought would lead the way to reap. They will be gone. Insolvent. Collapsed. Discredited. Neutralized by the Enemy.

The word of the Lord for ministries and churches is IF you can no longer do what you did in the past because the money isn't there and it doesn't look like it's coming in, then do what matters. Stop doing what doesn't. This will mean that men and women of God may struggle to feed their families. That doesn't mean God has abandon them. It is a time of preparation. A time to lay a foundation for the harvest to come. A time to declare victory.

Many in South America went thru this a decade ago. The churches exploded. New people hungry for God came in. Many churches in the middle of this collapsed and closed. But those who did the main thing emerged with hundreds of thousands of new souls for the Kingdom to lay at his feet.""

I don't know for sure, but the urgency of the message, the dramatic picture looks a great deal like the situation right now on the streets of Haiti.  And, notice how MANY times the word COLLAPSE is used in all kinds of contexts.  Things Collapsed in Haiti.

I don't think for a moment this is accidental.

Read once more the word given yesterday, consider the Haitian situation and ask, was that warning about the Earthquake or is the earthquake a test run for what is to come.  I think this is for the church an important warning shot across the Bow.

A Difficult Prophetic Word - Ministries with "Budgets" outside of the leading of the Holy Ghost are going to be in trouble

The Lord is showing me a picture of what is about to come. We are about to go thru another round of gut wrenching economic distress. All the governmental efforts are going to fail to stop this. The Stock Market is running wild. This will not hold. The changes about to come will destroy many good ministries that in the past lived off the fat years. Now those churches, ministries and ministers will have to discover a new place in God to survive and prosper.

It's not God's will for Churches to close but some will. It's not God's will for overseas missionaries to be stranded but some will. It's not God's will for formerly good fruitful national ministries to collapse but some will.

And some will not. Those independent of the Baal system will survive. Those not dependant on the world. Those who minister in boldness and in spite of Lack will prosper.

The old ways will not work in this new day. The time is almost here. The warning has been given. Mothball the dreams you once had. Become a warrior to take the ground you see before you. Someday God will allow you to take the dream out of mothballs. Then you will see. But the call to the harvest is here now. Only those that answer with a selflessness they never knew before will survive. It's the secret kingdom. Upside down. Prosperity is now a fasted life. For some of you in ministry, Jesus is saying "sell all you have, give to the poor and follow ME". When you hear that you will say, "That can't be God". Yes it is. He is more concerned with your heart than with your pocketbook and possessions right now. He wants you unencumbered for the great harvest to come.

Only those with ears to hear will hear what the Word of the Lord has spoken. The rest will see it happen and in a rear view mirror say "I wish I had listened".

Why We Are Not Healed....For the same reason we don't recieve Prophecy

People who reject prophecy will never benefit from it. There is a responsibility to walk out the prophetic declarations in faith in the Spoken Word of God. If you hear a word and do nothing with it you will soon discover that it might have been better if no word had been spoken over you in the first place. That word unfulfilled will cause you to doubt the power of the Prophetic. You will loose faith. Your reasoning (which is the enemy of your faith) will cause you to miss what God has for you. And the destiny God had for you will be unfulfilled.

The same thing is true when we receive the word of healing. If we don't act on it, believe it, move on it in faith, we will lose the effect it was intended. And not being healed we lose faith in the idea that God heals. We end up broken, sad and disappointed.

This is why I know that it's unscriptural to pray and ask God to heal someone. WHAT? I hear you clear over here. Yep. Jesus didn't. James 5, the only place any prayer was involved had to do with praying a prayer for MORE FAITH. IF we pray and ask God to heal we are implying that He hasn't provided Healing yet. Or that it is a serendipitous thing that he does. That sometimes He heals this one and not that. Sort of a luck of the draw thing.

Nothing is further from the truth. Here's reality:
God's will is for every person on the earth to be saved. Not everyone is saved. WHY? Not everyone comes to faith. And MY FAITH can't save you no matter how much faith for salvation I have. You are saved by Grace thru Faith NOT of yourself so you can't boast about it. Some people who embrace infant baptism believe that the action of others saves that baby. The church I am part of baptizes babies but carefully explains this doesn't save them, only imparts graces which helps the Holy Spirit lead to salvation. They must on their own come in faith to be saved.

Likewise HEALING:
God's will is for every person on earth to be healed. All of them Every single one. Not every one is healed. WHY. Not everyone accepts the healing by faith. My faith can't heal them, no matter how much I have. You are Healed by Grace thru Faith not of your own, it is a gift of God so you can't boast. You can pray for faith to be strong and thank Him for it. That prayer imparts grace that will lead to more faith so you might be healed.

The problem is there have been abuses of this in the past. People who were sick were told they didn't have ENOUGH faith and therefore were not healed. So we made all healing a passive act requiring very little faith on the part of the person being healed. We tried to use OUR faith as Ministers to substitute for the Faith they had to have in some measure to receive.

We somehow came to the conclusion we were better than Jesus and thru OUR ministerial great faith would have ridden into Nazareth where Jesus couldn't do many might works because of their unbelief and WE would have had great healing revivals. Baloney. (in the Biblical sense)

It's not true. God is pleased by faith. He said so, that it is impossible to please him without it. And God is pleased to HEAL. Anyone who comes to him. We can't impose healing on anyone. Sometimes the action of the person speaking healing happens coincidentally with the person's faith rising and they receive. The man at the Pool of Bethsadea. The man with Mud rubbed in his eyes. They had to DO something to exercise their faith to be healed.

We have to DO something to exercise our faith. Hebrews 4:2 says that they did not receive because they did not mix their actions with FAITH. You can DO all the right things, have great anointing oils, speak loudly, anointed worship going on, a proven man or woman of God and NOTHING HAPPENS.

Unless faith is present. Woman with issue of blood faith. Crawling in pain. Reaching in a dirty street with a jostling crowd. Desperate. That kind of faith.

So, if you need healing. HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT IT. To ask God for MORE and MORE faith. Don't ask him to heal you. Thank him for the healing power he already provided.

And if you pray for someone who is sick, ask God to give them faith to receive the healing that is already provided, that all obstacles be removed, that grace would flow. That's why I like to pray in tongues when I pray for the sick. It allows me to pray the exact way God would have me to.

Last night Peggy and I attended Apostle Theresa Phillips conference meeting at PMI where Dr Johannes spoke. He spoke clearly of the need to act on the prophetic words given to us. It was really good. There's a book or at least a sermons series in there somewhere. And in a way it drove this post.

Faith without WORKS is dead. Show me your works, I'll show you your faith. That applies to prophecy. It applies to Healing. Rise up and BE HEALED in the NAME OF JESUS.

The Prophetic is a Powerful Gift

I just spent the last few hours watching the Prophetic gift do it's thing. It's a powerful gift in the hands of someone who grasps what this is all about.

If you don't you are a disaster on wheels.

What I saw tonight was in order. It makes my heart sing when it is.

Abuse of the gifts is a travesty.

The Sound of the Shofar

I was at a Meeting at PMI in St Charles, Apostle Theresa Phillips is the leader. Last night she called forth three Shofar players to blow the trumpet of a ram's horn. I got an immediate prophetic picture in the Spirit.

The sound of the trumpet is a sound of war. The sound strikes fear in the enemies stronghold. When they sounded their horns, spiritual forces heard the sound. They trembled. Like the kings of Jericho did, like the Midionites did when the trumpets sounded, Like the kings arrayed against Jehoshaphat heard and wondered. The sound of the trumpet calls us to war. That is certain. But it prepares the battlefield. The sound of the trumpet sets the enemy to flight. They are confused by the sound. The demons wonder, is this the last trump? They know the last trump will sound soon.

When THE SOUND OF THE LAST TRUMP is heard, the game over. Judgment, making things right, justice. Every time the shofar is blown it creates confusion in the enemy's camp. They wonder. They are taken off guard. In the Spirit I saw them looking at each other, fear in their eyes, knowing their end was nearer than before.

Blow the Trumpet in ZION, Sound the ALARM....not an alarm to us....to THEM.

Send them to flight. At the SOUND of His Name, and the Sound of His Return, Demons Tremble.
