Squandering Your Prophetic Gift

There are dangers in trying to claim a gift you don't have or have squandered.  Jeremiah was really hard on the false prophets in his day.  He wanted them killed.  The problem is voices inside drown out the voice of God.  Many people who claim to speak prophetically are speaking out of their bias, their culture, their experience, there prejudice, their anger, their fears, their mind, their flesh and even sometimes the DEVIL himself.

It has never been more clear as we see what should be a prophetic voice speaking to our culture, particularly in the USA.   What instead is coming from what should be prophetic voices are fleshly opinion, attitudes and bias.  The prophetic is squandered.

The last several days we have seen bombing, riots and shootings.  We see the same things in Europe. France is particularly infected  We see the same thing in Africa with Boku Harum, we see it with ISIS.  All the same exact demon.

There is an evil spirit loose on the world.  It's a global spirit.  It has different names, different players, different warped justifications, but it is the same spirit.  It's a spirit of resentment, riot and lawlessness. 

You can recognize this evil spirit, this demonic manifestation by the works manifested. When you see riot, burning, anger, damage, theft, looting, destruction, killing, fear, lawlessness, foul mouth, murder, victimization and separation, it is the invasion of a foul demon.  This demon has many names.  Apollyon is one of them.  The destroyer.  It is everywhere right now.  You can't preach against it.  You can't cooperate with it.  You can't negotiate with it. It wants to destroy everything it can touch. 

Nothing in the gifts of God or manifestations of  Holy Spirit look or act anything like this evil we see.  In fact when you consider the fruit of the spirit, it is direct opposite of what we see.  The demonic manifestation is the polar opposite of what Holy Spirit produces.  So when you see a lack of these things, you know of what spirit that is.. an UNHOLY SPIRIT.. a demon.

Galatians 5:22-23  Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things

When you consider the works of the flesh it is exactly what we are seeing.

Galatians 5:19-21 Your sinful nature - the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,   idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,  envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone in that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 

Even those who are Christ Followers can become consumed of an evil spirit.

Luke 9:52-56 They went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

 Today we are seeing hundreds of former apostles and prophets consumed by this demon in anger and resentment.  They have squandered the gift they once had.  Many will be set down, disgraced and disbarred from standing before the throne.  They may make it to heaven, but it is time to identify the spirits that are loose in the world and worse has invaded the Body of Christ.  This is a falling away to the flesh and the devil.

I plead with those who formerly were men and women of God who have now fallen prey to this demon, get help, get deliverance.  You will lose everything if you stay on this path. You have been warned.
