But in the natural it's true. In seasons those things as the weather changes if they don't turn, bud and leaf out, grow flower fruit, store sap for winter, then lose their leaves as the weather changes so they can once again weather the snow and cold...those that do not.. DIE.
In horticulture it's called breaking. A plant that doesn't break dormancy is pretty much gone. Too long without green sprouts and it's over. It didn't get the signal. It didn't see the season coming.
So it is for the Christan.. there are seasons. I spoke with a good friend and advised him to be ready to prune off and replant. You can't bloom when the sustenance runs out. I messaged with a sister saying it's time to begin again.
Seasons of life change. Spring Summer Fall and Winter.. but then Spring returns.
Watch as you life finds new sprouts. Nurture them. See where they go. Keep your roots deep fed near the water of life. You will survive the heat of summer which is sure to come. You will store for another day. You will bear MUCH FRUIT.. when you know what season this is.
Song of Solomon 2:11-13
‘For behold, the winter is past,The rain is over and gone.
12 ‘The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
13 ‘The fig tree has ripened its figs,
And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance.
Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along!’”
