There's a ROAR in the Earth - WOE if you ignore it

Whenever the Lion of Judah invades territory the enemy thought was his, there's a roar. When kings are toppled from thrones, there's a roar. When freedom comes and slaves are set free, a roar goes up.

In the past as these things happened people tried to make it nice, deal with it quietly, work it out. Now as the Lion comes in evil flees. Hear what the Lord is saying (prophetic expansion and application in parens):

Amos 3

² "You only have I chosen
of all the families of the earth;
therefore I will punish you
for all your sins."

(If you are chosen, the bar is higher, the requirement for holiness is greater, the punishment greater. To whom much is given, much is required)

³ Do two walk together
unless they have agreed to do so?

(Be very careful who yo agree to walk with, not everyone who says Lord Lord)

⁴ Does a lion roar in the thicket
when he has no prey?
Does he growl in his den
when he has caught nothing?

⁵ Does a bird fall into a trap on the ground
where no snare has been set?
Does a trap spring up from the earth
when there is nothing to catch?

⁶ When a trumpet sounds in a city,
do not the people tremble?
When disaster comes to a city,
has not the LORD caused it?

⁷ Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants the prophets.

(The Roar is heard, the Trumpet is sounded and the snare is set for those who are about meet the Lion)

⁸ The lion has roared—
who will not fear?
The Sovereign LORD has spoken—
who can but prophesy?

(Now is the time for the Prophets to ONCE MORE come out of the cave and speak boldly, it's time to speak the oracle of GOD in Power)

⁹ Proclaim to the fortresses of Ashdod
and to the fortresses of Egypt:
"Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria;
see the great unrest within her
and the oppression among her people."

(The oppression of GOD's People has cried out from the earth and Now the Lion Roars - Set my people free is His cry. This unrest is of ME. Be made whole.)

It's all around you. You see it now, and you will see it manifest greater in the near future. The tables are once more being turned over, the whip is in HIS hand and they are being driven out in disgrace.

The warning that we hear now is only an early warning. There will be much more. In a while you will look back and see that this time was only a shadow of what was to come.

The Prophets are coming out, they're coming out, and they are putting words to the Roar in the Spirit. There will be none who escape. The only escape now is to fall on your face and repent. Take on the spirit of Zaccheaus who gave back four times what he stole from people. You have stolen and made yourself comfortable on the backs of people who feel like they owe you.

WOE to you. WOE. How great will be the fall.

Woe to YOU who are at ease in Zion, this is what the sovereign Lord says:

Amos 6

¹ What sorrow awaits you who lounge in luxury in Jerusalem,
and you who feel secure in Samaria!
You are famous and popular in Israel,
and people go to you for help.
² But go over to Calneh
and see what happened there.
Then go to the great city of Hamath
and down to the Philistine city of Gath.
You are no better than they were,
and look at how they were destroyed.
³ You push away every thought of coming disaster,
but your actions only bring the day of judgment closer.
⁴ How terrible for you who sprawl on ivory beds
and lounge on your couches,
eating the meat of tender lambs from the flock
and of choice calves fattened in the stall.
⁵ You sing trivial songs to the sound of the harp
and fancy yourselves to be great musicians like David.
⁶ You drink wine by the bowlful
and perfume yourselves with fragrant lotions.
You care nothing about the ruin of your nation.
⁷ Therefore, you will be the first to be led away as captives.
Suddenly, all your parties will end.

Fall on your face, repent, pay back, get right for the roar in the land means you will be consumed if you do NOT.
