By the 20th of April the death toll in the USA will be about 130,000. It will begin to decline in intensity from there to end up a bit under 200,000 by the first of August.
This assumes that we do not discover a breakthrough treatment. However once this has roared thru the susceptible population it will not return in the fall except in a few scattered events.
The damage to the economy will actually be worse than the damage to our population. All pandemics stop when the susceptible host is gone.
We are going to survive this. We will see a sunny day. God is still on the throne.
Do not fear, but be aware that these things will come to pass.

The coronavirus is second
The media is claiming that our primary enemy is unseen and is the Coronavirus. That would be easy to say except that's not our enemy. Our Real Enemy is fear hopelessness and despair which is equally as invisible but equally as damaging. Here's the truth, many people are going to suffer, some will die in this, but this will pass in time and we will see ourselves a different nation in time. We will see ourselves a different world in time. It will be a better world and a better nation in time. The only common denominator is time. Let's take advantage of the time. Let us not waste the time. Redeem the time because these days are indeed evil but they also are Redemptive. We are in that season, the fullness of time, Kairos time

He knows you and he fears you
The enemy always knows when things are about to turn. He is not attacking all forms of Christian activity. Some is over the top in your face. I love Rodney Howard-Browne, but sometimes restraint is your friend. He didn't show much.
His arrest and position while admirable and understandable, is not the way. We must be in submission to authorities as the word talks about. If this had been in ancient Jerusalem and this happened, they would already be dead.
This is a time for the church to walk thru the open door that the Lord has opened. People need God and in this time of fear, we know the one they need. Show them. But.. do so with the anointing that it requires.
There are frontal attacks on the name of Christ and his causes. Recently the Greensboro NC police arrested 7 people outside an abortion mill. They were spaced 6' apart. Not loud. Just Praying.
This crisis is causing all kinds of aberrant behavior as the devil and his demons go into full attack mode. We must be prepared and we must let the world know.

Will we know?
People are saying, "when this ends and goes back to normal".
I can tell you it will NEVER go back to how it was in January. We have made a change in our lives as a world, as a nation and in your city whereever you are. In families. In all sorts of ways.
We will not know when it ends. Or that it won't start again. The new normal won't look much like the old.
It will be a different world. Very different..
The only thing that stays the Same is the Immutable nature of God.. everything else mutates.

Where do we Dwell?
When I talk to people in this time I can quickly discern where they dwell.
This is not a critisizm. It is more an observation that those who are prophetic will discern quickly.
News people don't Dwell for the most part.
Government doesn't Dwell.
Many Political Leaders in High Places lack Dwell.
Hoarders with Cartloads of Toilet Paper aren't Dwellers.
Even many so called Believers are not able to Dwell.
WHERE?
1He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!”
3For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper
And from the deadly pestilence.
4He will cover you with His pinions,
And under His wings you may seek refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
5You will not be afraid of the terror by night,
Or of the arrow that flies by day;
6Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.
7A thousand may fall at your side
And ten thousand at your right hand,
But it shall not approach you.
8You will only look on with your eyes
And see the recompense of the wicked.
9For you have made the LORD, my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place.
10No evil will befall you,
Nor will any plague come near your tent.
11For He will give His angels charge concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways.

The Fog of War is a Fog
I am amazed. Today I was at the grocery store. The nice lady who was checking us out started to tell me how Bill Gates stepping down from Microsoft was part of an evil plot of some sort or another.
She gave me a website to go to.
This was the second time today.
Now to be fair, when people are cooped up all kinds of imaginations rise up. Too many movies. Too much TV. Too many You Tubes. And then there is FACEBOOK.
WOW the fog of the war in our minds causes even believers to engage in foggy thinking. We need clarity. We need focus on what really matters.
What matters is each other, our children, our friends our parents, our health, our well being. A good friend of mine called me this PM to tell me about how scared he was for his future. He's in the same business I am. It was crazy. I had to talk him down.
You are in good hands if you are in HIS hand.

Future History - we will enter into a recession --- BUT
Right now many men's hearts are failing them for fear. If you say to someone, "TAKE HEART", sometimes that heart fails them. That is the meaning of the phrase.
Here are some prophetic insights for a believer at this time:
Trust the Lord first. He is the only one worthy of your faith. The concern is there is a tendency to trust in man, economists, Presidents, Politicians, Capitalism and the USA. There is a distorted worship spirit that causes many to focus on the arm of man rather than the arm of God.
It is reassuring to have competent leaders and systems, but they will disappoint us. They always do. This is a time to face the warfare we are in. Things are going to change and won't return to what it was in January 2020. Things have changed globally forever. We will never get back to the way is was... ever. In some ways it will be better as I will explain.
I could warn of dangers, there are many. The enemy of your soul is using his position in the media, entertainment and the culture in general to discourage you. I would rather offer you a view into the future so you are prepared.
The whole world is hurt badly by this crisis. This will be a drag on any attempt to return to normalcy. No matter what the government and politicians do, it will be temporary. The economy will suffer badly for at 8 months. As the world economy begins to return to life, the North American Economy will revive most and faster. This will take two years to get well. Again, not to back to what it was, to something different.
Pay no real attention to the equity markets. They are a harbinger, the real economy lags the markets by a long time. So as you see the markets suffering, there will be a recession to follow. When you see the market recover the economy will lag that revival. You won't feel it for a while. It is a 3 month lag at the shortest.
Many people will be out of work for a long time. Trades people will do the best. Office and administrative people will not. This is the time for compassion and love. Stay in touch with friends and family. Our approach to these kinds of events in pandemics will be a new normal.
This event will generate a new approach that is common sense. Life will be seen as a risk.. and the cost of ameliorating the risk will be reassessed as the lessons of this pandemic's global effects are felt. We have all heard safety first. Yet at what price? We will understand that not everything that can be done should be done. Life if fragile, but life is also a gift. Medical science can help, but it is still appointed unto man once to die. We will as a nation, as a culture begin to think of Saftey Third.
Here are some ways the landscape will change. Several retail enterprises other than the giants like Target and Walmart will suffer. J C Penny, Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond will cease to exist. So will millions of very small enterprises. Restaurants will be rare as we knew them. Outdoor eating when possible will thrive. Theaters in all forms will close. A few survive but very few. Sporting events will suffer. Pay per view will become a norm as ticket sales dry up.
Our habits as a culture with social distancing will not change for a long time.
What of the House of God, Churches. This will be a trajedy. While they may be allowed to reopen again, attendance will shrink.
So what does that have to do with any move of God in the USA and beyond. There will be one, but it will be organic and small.
The changes coming are not tragic. They may be changes that have been needed for a long time. We will be less spectator driven and more involvement driven. God isn't going away, but we will meet him more on our own than in a crowd, concert of convention.
What the world will look like is going to be very different. Life and death will become a measure. We are making some mistakes.. but there will be lessons learned.
Stay strong, trust God and be eternally ready.
