For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

I know so many people that decorate, buy gifts, expect big things, family and joy. When Christmas doesn't come out as they hoped there is a letdown from unrealized expectations.We know that many people are depressed after the season.
Father has a word for those who put expectation in things that cannot truly satisfy:
I am the hope of all nations. I am your hope. You can rely on me. I will never disappoint. I am YOUR blessed hope. Faith Hope and Love is the Essence of who I am. While others may let your down, turn their back on you, discourage you, I am your strong high tower. I snatch you from the snare of the Fowler. I am displaying my goodness over you in the presence of those who despise you. I am the one who makes a way when there seems to be none. Any hope of happiness you have because of what others do in your life pales in comparison to what I am in your life. Have faith and hope in ME... and your life will be full. Expect it!

Thank You Gene, this couldn't have come at a better time for me. I have been heart sick due to the lack of happiness and family due to the death of my Mom. My family has all been without connection and I have been very sad, but keeping my faith in the Lord. It just takes having it put in context by you that I know that I will be okay as I celebrate Jesus's birthday and not fall in to the trap of expectations that really are not anything compared to what Jesus has for me. So at this time of year may I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and Thank You for helping me to open my heart to the one that will heal it.
