It's Time to rebuild the Spoiled House

President Lincoln once said, "A house divided against itself cannot stand".  He was alluding to the scriptures in Matthew, Luke and Mark that Jesus spoke. They are at the end of this word.

Divide and Conquer is the devils motto.  Division weakens a marriage, a relationship, a city, state, country.  A church. A business.

Di Vision means there are two visions.  Only one can be right.  Yet we now live in a day and time when DI VISION is the rule, not the exception.  Tolerance, compromise and justice are the cry of the day.

Jesus prayed for unity.  John 17:22-23  He hated Divorce.  Paul the Apostle plead for unity.  Ephesians 4:1-6    Philippians 2:1-11

During the Exodus that Moses led, there was disunity and God punished it by the earth opening up and swallowing those who spread disunity.  He will again. 

I don't think many who read this will disagree so far.  Yet, among those who do, many will decry the lack of unity based on the idea that I must agree with THEM.  That we must find middle ground.  Compromise.  Sadly, there is no compromise.  God doesn't make a deal with the devil.  We as believers should not.

There is a disunity in our nation that is deeper and more evil than I have seen in my many years on the earth.  There is no singularity of purpose.  There is a great divide.  There is no middle ground.

It has been going on for a while, since the 60s.  I remember well the years after World War Two.  I grew up then.  There was not much disunity.  We were "one nation under God".  We aren't that any more.  There are wedges that the Devil has brought upon the nation, the church, friends and families that have divided us deeply.  I see the enemy's hand in this clearly and as a prophet must expose it.

Here are the major fault lines of disunity.

• Secularization of our culture, media, business, and pushing believers behind closed doors
• The War on Women or Men?  We are being divide along gender lines
• Islamic Intolerance and influence in our nation growing
• Homosexual Normalization in the military and marriage
• Racial Division intensified, see brown and martin and the race bait protests
• Inequality between takers and makers, have and have not, wealth and poverty
• Atheist Evangelism (take everything of God out of the public square
• Life as a Value (abortion and euthanasia)
• Family Destruction divorce and unmarried mothers is now the norm
• The Intentional Dis Education of our Children in public education

Certainly some of these things existed 50 years ago, but the divide is now deeper, much deeper.  It would be easy to blame bad leaders.  I certainly have been critical of President Obama in supporting many of  these divisive (dis-unifying) policies like abortion on demand, racial division, greater economic disparity, homosex marriage and military and public education at the expense of real education.   The truth is he is a symptom more than a cause.

We are a nation divided.  As I listed these things, you may say, it has always been this way.  No it hasn't.  It isn't in many places.  Our supposed tolerance in our nation has created this division in the name of justice, tolerance and compromise.  There is no justice in division.  One side must prevail or there will be division.  In the military a person who acts outside of the unity of a unit is considered dangerous and is expelled, or tried for treason and shot.  An army cannot do battle without unity.

I would ask you to carefully think about how far from the plumb line of Unity that Jesus Prayed for we are. As Believers FIRST.  We should be Kingdom, and a Kingdom divided cannot stand.  Jesus words:

Matthew 12:25
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Luke 11:17
But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

Mark 3:22And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils. 23And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? 24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 27No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

Our house is spoiled, Home, School, Media, Church, City, Nation, World.  YOU as a believer didn't do it, but you were supposed to be the strong man, the one that the devil feared. He no longer fears.  It's time to rebuild the House, in Unity, not compromise.

You can't foment violence and disunity in the name of tolerance and justice and build the Kingdom at the same time.  It doesn't work that way.. and you only have to see what Jesus said to know.

Time to take back the ground the devil has stolen.  Let's rebuild the House of Unity.
