Solomon said, "The day of death is better than the day of one's birth"

Sad times teach us about our condition of life more than our happy times. Funerals force us to reflect on the serious matters of life. In the death of our loved ones we see it as a reality that interrupts our dreams and brings us back to earth. It reinforms us that life has limits and causes us to consider both God and our human family more seriously, and most of all, it points us to the real hope that believers have in the reality that lies beyond this world and it's vail of tears. Maybe this is the reason Solomon said, "The day of death is better than the day of one's birth. It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to heart. Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth (Ecclesiastes 7:1-4). By this I do not believe it is wrong to laugh and be happy, but consider that life is not a party all the time where we should not be aware of the fact that it will end. Death stops us in our tracks and reveals to us what is the most important thing in our life and that is "God". At death, the family and friends have memories which may be good and sometimes bad. Someone else will drive your car, live in your house, spend your money, take your place at the job, but what will you have? "As a tree falleth, so shall it also lie". Don't get swept up into this party seeking generation that you forget God and His word. He meant what He said, "My word shall not pass away". kbm

When the Nation is Thrown a Curve Ball— prophecy James Goll

I was alone sleeping in a downstairs room in my home in Franklin, Tennessee. Michal Ann was still with us at the time though very ill with her long fought battle with cancer. We had round the clock home caregivers with her – whether in our bedroom, at the hospital, and in the rehabilitation unit. We slept the last two years of her dear life apart, as she was constantly being taken care of.
So I was desperate and seeking the Lord that night in a little hide-away room down in our basement. That night the Lord gave me a vivid dream followed by a waking vision and an experience where the external audible voice of the Lord came to me.

VISITATION FROM EARLY 2008

In the dream, I saw the nation on a teeter-totter tipping back and forth going to and fro – with great instability. We were going up and down and up and down and it seemed there was no relief is sight. The United States was reeling from fatigue of wars, corruption and economic uncertainty.
Then the voice of the Lord came in the dream, “Liberalism will reign for a season in the land and then it will become popular for moderacy to rule which could ultimately lead to true conservatism.” (It was not the word I honestly wanted to hear from the Holy Spirit at the time but it came very succinctly to me anyway. Sometimes, we have to remove our own preconceived prejudices with our tainted filters to be able perceive a clear word from the Lord.)
Suddenly, I was awakened from the dream and the basement room was tangibly filled with the presence of destiny. I then saw in the seer realm a “baseball game in action”. A young pitcher was throwing a ball to the plate with great force and seeming agility. It was a curve ball that appears to be a strike but instead it was not a ball for the batter to swing at. Another player was squatted behind the plate with a huge catcher’s mitt. He caught the off target ball as it pounded into his glove.
Then the external voice of the Lord came to me saying, “When the nation has been thrown a curve ball, I will have a man prepared who comes from the state of Michigan and he will have a big mitt capable of catching whatever is thrown his way.”

HEARING A HARD WORD!

A strange word… I did not understand it except for the sequence – liberalism to moderarcy to the possibility of true conservatism. I have “wrestled with this word and it has wrestled with me”. I remember even being in the state of Massachusetts at a church not long after this encounter, squatting to the ground and acting out the word about the Lord preparing a man from Michigan who would have a big Mitt! Mercy! Some liked what they heard and some did not. I was a bit clueless.
I thought it was for then – 2008 – and I guess part it was. Liberalism has ruled in the nation for the past four years. Some cheer this as a great success and other bemoan this as a disaster. Whatever your view, it has come to pass. Liberalism, unlike any recent time in modern American history, has ruled the land in the past four years.
But the Lord said there would be a man prepared who would come from the state of Michigan who would have a “big mitt”. Little did I know at that time that Mitt Romney – former Governor of Massachusetts, was born in the state of Michigan. Little did I know, when I received this in 2008, that he would win his parties primary for the 2012 national elections!

AT THE CROSS ROADS OF HISTORY

Let me give a word of perspective. We are not voting for a pastor, or an elder, or a deacon of a church. This is not the next “senior pastoral selection committee”. There are many views and I value interaction, discussion and educated dialogue. Let me also be clear and state, I did not say who would win the national election. We have a free choice and God honors that. But He always offers us a choice.
As I have stated earlier, I have “wrestled with this word and it has wrestled with me”. I have pondered deeply if I should even share the word at all publicly. I understand about praying revelation and at times not sharing your word with others. I have privately prayed more words than I have given in public. I have taught this realm for years and these truths are contained in my book The Prophetic Intercessor.
But being that we are in such a crisis of a crossroads in this nation, I for one cannot remain silent. I cannot let this word go unspoken. The Holy Spirit gave a confirmation to it to give me confidence. I have pondered and prayed through this issue. I have made a decision to dare to be bold enough to share my subjective revelatory experience with you.
The New Testament says to, “Test all things and hold fast to that which is good.” But please, whatever you do, do not be apathetic in this hour. Get informed – even at this last minute – pray and seek the face of God and put works to your faith – and VOTE!
This is our American liberty that men and women have fought and died for – the right for the voice of the people to be heard. I urge you – shake yourself off! Arise and make a difference! This I do know: When the nation is thrown a curve ball . . . He has a plan!

Steven L. Shelley: The Eagles and the Dove

Exodus 19:4 ...and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto Myself.
I have found myself lately revisiting a trance vision that I had some years ago. Perhaps we are moving into the season where it will have significance and application among us. A narrative of this vision follows:
I remember going very deep into the realm of the Spirit. My body was stationary, but my spirit was moving forward on a journey toward something beautiful. The first thing I saw was a crystal clear river flowing from a huge throne in the distance. The throne was so large it appeared to have many levels.
The river was very deep and flowing swiftly. I knew somehow that, in these waters, there was deliverance, freedom, and full provision for all that would be needed by the Bride in the last days. There was a tangible anointing and glory released by the swirling of the water.

An Eagle Brings a Message

I then saw a golden brown eagle flying in from the west and I knew he was coming with a message. An eagle often represents the prophet or prophetic seer anointing. I discerned that this eagle was bringing a word of revelation for the Bride. As I watched, a white dove flying in over the churning waters joined the eagle. The little dove flew faster and faster, following the eagle.
A voice then spoke and said, "First comes the prophet with a hat and then the little dove following." I recognized this prophetic riddle. It had been spoken to me in prior visions. The phrase "prophet with a hat" had been used to identify William Branham. Brother Branham was often seen and photographed in a hat, as was the custom of a gentleman in his generation. The voice continued to explain that the dove represented a true and genuine baptism of the Holy Ghost.

The Bride Wades Out Into Deeper Revelation

Looking down again, I saw a beautiful bride dressed in fine linen. She stepped into the river but was quickly moving away from the safety of the shoreline into deeper water. I understood that the deep waters beckoning her represented the profound revelations and mysteries that the Bride of Christ had been called to walk in. His Word was being revealed to her in more intimate ways as the waters coursed over her.
As I looked up again, I saw the eagle beginning to circle a large blue ball. I could see the shapes of the continents and realized that I was seeing the Earth. As the eagle continued to circle the globe, the little white dove was following closely behind.
Suddenly there appeared another bird, also white in color, but much larger than the dove. It had the same body structure as the eagle, but his feathers were pure white. Loudly I exclaimed, "It's a white eagle!"

The Angel of the Lord Appears

Then an angel stepped into view dressed in white linen. I discerned that he was not an ordinary angel but carried a high level of authority.
I need to explain a bit about the nature of these trance visions. I am sometimes able to communicate with those in the room while not breaking free from the spiritual realm. At this point in the trance, a friend asked me who this angel was. I answered him saying, "He's the Angel of the Lord."
The Angel then asked me if I was familiar with this white eagle. I remembered hearing something about him but had no real understanding of what he represented. The Angel explained that it was more important for now that I see and hear him than understand him.
The Angel then began to teach me with the patience and simplicity one would use in interacting with a small child, carefully repeating the details of what I had seen thus far. He reminded me that first the eagle came leading the dove, a type of the prophet leading the way for the true infilling of the Holy Spirit.

The Earnest Gives Way to Fullness

Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.
He said that the advent of the prophet had already taken place. As to the true infilling, I knew in my spirit he was describing more than just another Pentecostal blessing, feeling, or sensation. This baptism would not produce another man-made denomination or religious system, but a genuine change in the life of the Believer. He added, "This time will be much different."

Dove Leads the Eagle

The Angel of the Lord explained that the true baptism of the Holy Spirit would prepare the way for the white eagle. He said the white eagle represented a revelation of the fullness of Jesus Christ; not just a greater knowledge of Him, but an infilling and indwelling of the very character and virtues of Jesus.
This revelation would produce the living Word made flesh again, not just in one man as in the days of the Lord Jesus Christ, but in a whole company of Believers. This message would act as a plumb line, a measuring device to gauge the uprightness of all words given to the end time Bride of Jesus Christ.
I spoke out to those in the room, "The world has never seen what it will see in the Bride. Fools will mock and reject it, some religious leaders will scorn it, but His true Bride will receive it with gladness."

A New Thing – The Bride's Revival

I believe these words were referring to the Lord doing a new thing that will not follow historical revival patterns but will have a distinct model and administration. It will be an expansion of the ministry model of the Lord Jesus Christ as seen in the Gospels. It will be authority and power functioning and flowing in a corporate Body of Believers especially chosen for this purpose, even before the foundation of the world.
I then heard Him say something odd, "Things are stuck on Mount Zion. The saints are stuck; they have climbed as far as they can, and it seems they cannot move any higher into the virtues and attributes of Jesus." He added that I should not give in to worry.

Mount Zion – The Backside of the Throne

Suddenly before me was this beautiful, pyramid-shaped Mount Zion. It was the third time I had seen this massive mountain in vision. As I looked closer, I could see the saints climbing among its cliffs, scattered along the sides of the mountain. Some had reached higher places than others, but all were moving slowly toward the top. I was getting a closer look than I ever had before, and now I could see the roughness of the slopes and the rocky, jagged terrain. Small rocks tumbled off the ledges, loosened by the climbers. There were also large, unstable boulders that could become dislodged and crush the climbers in their paths.
Some had climbed to places where they were unable to navigate obstacles up ahead. Some had to stop because there was no place to get a foothold or even dig in with their hands and pull themselves higher. I was blessed to see their progress but started feeling sad that more and more were becoming stalled with no way around the hindrances. It appeared that most of them would be forced to retreat and re-navigate their ascent. The Angel of the Lord startled my sad contemplation when He again reminded me, "Don't worry."

The Dove Releases New Strength to Climb

I saw a flash of movement overhead. It was the little white dove circling the top of the mountain. A fresh anointing began showering down, and I knew it was being released by the presence of the dove.
The Angel then reminded me of a day when Brother Branham was climbing in Sabino Canyon and he had stopped to rest. I saw this scene unfold just as Brother Branham had described it in a sermon. He was leaning against the side of a cliff, using his shirt to wipe the sweat from his face and neck.
He then took his hat off and reverently held it against his chest as though sensing God's presence. Suddenly, I saw clearly the word "eagle" embedded in the stone face in white quartz letters. Brother Branham bowed his head as though receiving a divine message. I heard him say, "I have taken you as far as I can."
I heard the saints begin to shout and rejoice as the fresh anointing fell on them like a blanket. They started shouting to those below, "We can make it, keep on climbing!" Someone replied, "How do you know?" "Look up!"
Everyone could see the dove still circling the mountain, and in the distance something else was approaching. We watched as it drew closer. Someone shouted, "It's the white eagle!"
I was deeply concerned about the saints standing at the bottom of the mountain. I felt that the lateness of the hour would make it impossible for them to make it to the top.
I asked aloud, "How will they ever make it to the top before the headstone comes to cap the pyramid?"
I was familiar that, in 1962, William Branham preached a sermon from 2 Peter chapter 1, entitled The Stature of a Perfect Man. He used a pyramid chart to show how attributes listed in these verses bring us into the fullness of the stature of Jesus Christ. He also mentioned that one of the pyramids never received its capstone.
When the chart was drawn he left a gap between the top of the pyramid and the capstone. In the gap he wrote, "The Holy Ghost," and on the capstone he wrote, "Perfect Love." From the bottom they were listed, "Faith, Virtue, Knowledge, Temperance, Patience, Godliness and Brotherly Kindness."

Carried To the Top On the Wings of the Eagle

Suddenly, the white eagle came swooping down low on the side of the mountain and then up near the top again. He drew in close, nudging the saints, encouraging them to climb higher and not to give up.
I heard the eagle scream out with a natural call, and then suddenly he began to cry out in a powerful voice, "When you have climbed as high as you can, I will bear you on My wings to the top of Zion. My Bride will make it to the top; I will give her My virtues, I'll carry her the rest of the way. Even as I bore Israel out of Egypt on My wings, so will I carry you to the top of Mt. Zion."
I joined the other saints in screaming, "Great White Eagle, come and take us on Your wings."
I knew in my spirit that this would in no way constitute a short cut; we would not be able to bypass any of the lessons, preparations or impartations. This bearing up would only happen in the hour when we could not climb any higher on our own. It also spoke of an end to all of our human striving to be qualified as overcomers, and a new place where we would finally emerge totally dependent on the Lord Jesus.
I pray that we are now entering into the season of revelation that will lift us to the top of Mount Zion, and cause us to be seated with our beloved Bridegroom in His throne.

Left or Right GOD?

It’s time.  Here is the Truth.  Do you want to see a reprobate get excited?  Tell him that God is not Democrat or Republican.  Why?  Because they want to believe.  God has nothing to do with their immoral decisions.  They want you to put steam in their train that’s off the track.  There is always a point of Truth that can be deceived – a little leaven leavens the whole lump!
But I tell you this: Liberals are lawless and anti-Christ, anti-truth and anti-moral, anti-Word.  God is neither a Democrat nor a Republican, but He is conservative, meaning HIS word is the law.  The truth will have no private interpretation.  He makes the rules, and at the end, every knee will bow and be accountable for every decision.  He will judge your heart, your motives and your choices.  Did you choose him to the best of your ability or did you follow family, culture, or friends?
Everything comes down to choices.  We have all made bad ones, but are you a sinking ship that no longer can choose right or wrong?  Is every decision based on your opinion or on the Word of God?  We stand in perilous times.  Any Christian who puts his faith in the world or in himself is a reprobate on either side of the coin.  If you vote for the color of a man’s skin because it is your color, you are a reprobate.
Many Christians have given themselves over to the spirit of this age by not fearing God and by their decisions.  Repent. Your conscience has been seared.  You live in an illusion, and if you died today, you may slip into heaven, but if you continue on your path of ignorance and apathy to truth, as you cover your unrighteous decisions in grace.  Warning:  You are a great candidate for the mark of the beast whether it is a symbol on your head or hand.  It doesn’t matter because in your head you have already become lawless and have already received it.  Repent.
The Kingdom of God is not color.  Neither is it gender.  It is a spiritual place from which man lives on the inside out not the outside in.  We need to come out of the world but at the same time invade the world with love and truth and light.

Matthew 6:22-2322   “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.  But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”

Woe to you preacher and prophets!  And you leaders who dare to stand for nothing, you are worse!  You go along with whatever will keep everyone happy.  You, as well are selling out, Reprobate!  To be a Christian and to back a man or woman who is empowered by the anti-Christ spirit makes you a reprobate.  You might not like me now, but hopefully you will thank me later.  You say, “What are you talking about?”

2 Corinthians 13:5-8   “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.  Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?  But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.  Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.  For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.”

Truth

1)    God says that only a man and woman can have sexual communion.

2)    Life starts at conception.

3)    God shall supply all our need not our government or its system.

4)    You shall not lie.

5)    You shall have no idols.

6)    You shall not kill, directly or indirectly.  God’s word is God’s meaning  (John 1:1).

Timothy 3:1-9   “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their’s also was.”

Creep to your pulpits, spew their agendas for race wars, hate house of little gods because the living God is not in the building any more.  You call yourself a Christian, but according to scripture, you are a reprobate.  When you campaign for a man or women, you are a voice.  You align yourself with the spirit behind the voice.  Wake up.  Get real. Praying for our leaders does not mean following him or her.  You come in agreement with your little bumper sticker, your little motto.  Guilty.  My plea is that your eyes become open.  Repent.  Then this next scripture is for you!

Titus 1:13-16   “This witness is true.  Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

How do you deny him by voting for a murderer, by not standing for him when it’s hard or easy?  What do you mean?  If you believe that abortion is okay and you agree with it, you have already committed murder in your heart or you align yourself with lawlessness and those who exalt themselves above the Word.  We need Jesus; He is our only answer.  Repent.  We need the voice of the Lord.  Remember: His sheep hear His voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow.  Who are you following?

Embracing the Demonic Agenda FOR Fatherlessness and AGAINST the Family

The Homosexual agenda’s drumbeat that has been sounding for years reached a crescendo this spring, the President of the United States announced his support for Marriage between Homosexuals; euphemistically called same sex marriage.  Fatherlessness is it's outcome.  Read the Whole Thing below.

Homosexual marriage is a satanic attack on the role of fathers in our culture.  In France there is a move to neutralize gender by calling parents, Parent One, and Parent Two.  This would be funny if it weren’t so insidious.  When the role of being a father is replaced by two women or two men neither of whom have a clear mantle of the Father as the singular head of the home, it leads to fatherless children.. even if two undefined parents are present.  This is being pushed in media. Look at the TV programs on the air, sitcoms promoting the homosexual fatherless household. When this deviation was embraced by the President.. it became a tipping point.  One from which we must draw back or we will suffer another generation of fatherlessness and its tragic result.  Stripping fathers out of the home has been the goal of satan for decades, to neutralize the role of the Father in the home. There have been many attacks (Johnson's war on Poverty was one), this is one more.  Fatherlessness is worse now then ever and is tragically supported by vote by the very people most likely to suffer from this crisis.  It is in direct opposition to the Word of God and a radical departure of 5000 years of cultural civilization norms.  In the last generation we have decided we know better than a hundred generations that went before.  NO, we are the generation of the deceived.

Homosexual Marriage has been part of the broader homosexual agenda embraced by Barack Obama’s presidency:

• In February 2011 He issued an order that suspended support of the defense of marriage act. 
• In May of 2012 he openly came out in support of Homosexual Marriage.  This on the heels of several actions he has taken in support of the homosexual agenda in our culture.
• In July 2011 he suspended Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell in the military. Now openly gay people are sleeping in barracks right next to straight men and women. This is in direct opposition to a policy that prohibited just such a practice instituted by George Washington in March 1778. 
• In July 2009 – The Obama administration illegally extended federal benefits to same-sex partners of Foreign Service and Executive Branch employees, in direction violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act.   
• In September 2011 – The Pentagon directed that military chaplains must perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act if requested.

The question is NOT are these good policies.  The question is are they GOD policies.  I will not share every biblical passage that specifically prohibits the idea of  a man having sex with another man, or a woman with a woman, much less codifying (sanctioning) the act by calling it by the sacred name of Marriage, of Husband and Wife.  God reserves a BRIDE for HUSBANDS.  I have a list if you want to refresh your memory.  You can see them here.


If you are a practicing Christian and believe you can blatantly cast a vote for Barack Obama without any consequence spiritually you must reconsider.   He is the man who publicly embraced an aberrant view of marriage and sexual deviancy by his declarations and executive orders.  If you can so vote, you will need to tear several pages out of your Bible to get by this without shame for sanctioning ungodly governance.

IF you can with good conscience vote for the destruction of the God Ordained family unit that celebrates Fathers and Mothers with Children to carry out the biblical mandate to replenish the earth (which satan wants to stop by this plot) then you have a heart problem and profound spiritual blindness.  I can’t tell you what that will mean in the long run, but sowing and reaping is a biblical principle.  You WILL reap what you sow. God is NOT mocked. I read it in his book.  You are by your choices creating the world that your children and children’s children will live in.  I look back on the generation I grew up in, Free love, sex drugs and rock and roll.  Look at the whirlwind we have now reaped.  Do we move further down the rat hole?  IF you think you can do this without damage to whatever Christian walk or ministry you have, you are deeply deceived.  Ichabod is waiting to be hung around your neck spiritually. This decision carries a price.

I will NOT encourage you to Vote for Mitt Romney.  I know that would be hard for many.  It would be better for your Conscience to not vote at all.  To refrain from pulling that lever.  It would be better to pray that God will be God and the devil be shown a liar.  Some evangelicals are choosing not to vote for Romney or Obama because of religious convictions regarding Romney's religion.  I honor that choice.

There is a hardness of heart that Pharaoh experienced that many will experience if they vote directly against what they know to be true with a seared conscience.  It will result in further hard times as pharaoh discovered.  It doesn’t matter what or who has gone before or what they did or didn’t do.  We have had very imperfect leaders in recent years.  Obama is the question on the table.

The altar to the homosexual agenda on the high places must be torn down.  The Lord is saying clearly, "Return to me, and I will heal your land".  The opposite is also true, "continue to sanction open rebellion and your land will remain cursed".  Many WILL make this choice and the curse will stay upon their head (land).  Jesus paid the penalty to remove the curse, but returning to that curse (Like a dog to his vomit) with intention tramples that blood shed underfoot and makes his sacrifice of no account if you embrace this.  Oh, you might make heaven. I hope you do.  But you will have embraced the devils agenda for hell on earth for generations to come.  That is a THUS SAITH THE LORD!

Satan ALWAYS goes after the most precious fruit

 He always attacks where the greatest challenge to him will come from.  He tried again and again to Kill Jesus and Moses.  He will always first try to tear down that which is most noble. 

People wonder why I spend so much of my intentional time in community with people who look at least in skin color so different from me (as a pale white European).  I see these precious ones as God does.  My eyes have been opened. This is not to say there are not others; but God called me to this. 

The Devil makes his most vicious attack against those who were destined by Father to carry a nobility beyond what many comprehend.  Haven't you noticed the beauty and magnificence?  How handsome the noble men are?  How stunning the noble women are?  How they in spite of circumstance are over-comers?  After centuries of oppression, after decades of abuse, after years of being kept in check by the enemy of their souls, they still are here... Waiting. 

I am convinced that out of what the world seems to have relegated to otherwise, the NEXT great move of God will emerge from this Nobility.  It should be a badge of Honor to carry the bloodline of what God is about to do.  When walking down the street, no longer will fear be in the eyes of those they encounter... an impulse to bow by those not so marked for greatness will be powerful.  

IF they only knew how set aside for greatness they were, they would walk in it.  It has been the devil's scheme for centuries to make sure they never discover this truth.  It goes on to this day. Expect Great Growth! The Appearance of Church is About to Change Radically!

...But First, Christlike Leaders Must Emerge
The appearance of "church" as we know it is about to change radically! True apostolic and prophetic leadership is about to emerge the leadership of Christ the King in and through His Body. The Lord is about to raise up leaders characterized by His heart, the heart of a genuine servant!
This is great news! The Spirit of God is now releasing His divinely appointed and anointed leaders. Who are these emerging leaders? Are they special people with amazing charisma, outstanding gifts and a powerful anointing? Not necessarily! The enemy wants us to believe that God only uses "special people," but nothing could be farther from Biblical truth (see 1 Corinthians 1:26).
Beloved brothers and sisters, these coming leaders are "whosoever will" – a phrase that Jesus used often to indicate our choice in the matter (see Matthew 7:24; 10:32-33; 16:25; 20:26-27; Mark 3:35; 8:34-35 KJV). In other words, each one of us could be and should be one of these emerging, appointed and anointed leaders!

Leaders With Christlike Character

We must remember that the Lord is looking for a people whose hearts are right with Him so that He can fully support all that they are doing (see 2 Chronicles 16:9). For this reason, the Spirit of Truth is raising up leaders with integrity and character who will teach us the vast difference between what is pure and what is profane (see Ezekiel 44:23).
Consequently, it is crucial that we walk in uprightness if we are to ascend the hill of the Lord (see Psalm 24:3-6). As we embrace accountability, we can be trusted with more true spiritual authority. Christ Jesus instructed us: If we are faithful over little, we shall become rulers over much more (see Matthew 25:21). On the other hand, if we fail to handle small things correctly, even the small things are in danger of being removed. A true leader must be found faithful and upright in both attitude and action.

Eye-Opening Encounters

Imagine ministering with the heart of our Beloved Savior and Lord! How will our heart become like our Master's, the meek and lowly Lamb of God? This transformation must and will be supernatural.
In fact, we are on the verge of awesome, life- changing encounters with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit recently spoke these words loudly in my heart: "Expect an eye-opening experience!"
In Ephesians 1:17-18, Paul the apostle prays for us to have the eyes of our hearts flooded with divine, revelatory light. At this time, the Spirit of Truth is opening the eyes of all who are truly desperate to walk in intimacy with Christ. What will our eyes see? Christ Himself! The King of Glory! And as we see Him, we'll become like Him and manifest His servant's heart.

Explosive Growth and Challenges

This new intimacy with the Lord will also result in an explosion of signs and wonders and a great harvest of souls (see John 2:23 and John 6:1-2). Along with this great ingathering of new Believers, however, will also come great problems, similar to what the early Church experienced in Acts 6:1-7. As "fishers of men," we are about to understand that, just as fish dragged in by nets are not already cleaned and prepared, this great harvest of souls will not come into the Kingdom cleansed from the world but with many needs and wounds, addictions and strongholds.

Necessary Preparations!

The Church must be equipped to handle this overwhelming growth and to minister to waves of people from many diverse backgrounds and levels of society. Now is the time to begin making the necessary preparations for what is ahead. As a wise person once said, "To fail to plan is to plan to fail!" We must be prepared to minister to this great harvest in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, not in our own strength, our own ideas or our own will. This supernatural harvest requires supernatural, dunamis power and agape, Christlike love. Only Heaven on earth will suffice!
It is imperative that we receive from God the insights and information we need to launch to the next level. We need His wisdom, not our own. We require His direction, not our selfish ambitions and "good ideas." And we must walk in His glorious power and anointing, not our fancy programs and titles. God is preparing leadership to receive HIS heart for the people!

True Apostles and Prophets

Thankfully, in response to this explosive growth and increasing need, God will raise up strong apostolic leadership. But first, it is imperative that we seek a much deeper understanding and clearer revelation of the office of the prophet and apostle. The Spirit of God is releasing this spirit of revelation now to understand and embrace these offices and to discover that these "titles" are more than just labels. The apostle and prophet are divine functions of the Spirit working through anointed, appointed and chosen individuals.

Where Honor is Due

Just attaching or wearing labels will continue to foster confusion and frustrate the emerging ministries of the apostle and the prophet. Beloved Believers, we should feel a deep concern for how loosely these terms have been bantered about in churches. It has been correctly stated that we devalue our spiritual currency by using these terms so loosely.
It is extremely important that the Body of Christ honor and embrace the five-fold ministries (see Ephesians 4:11-16). To be sure, God has some true apostolic ministries operating in the Church today, largely in countries where the Gospel has had an explosive impact. Apostolic leadership is necessary in regions of rapid numerical growth. Yet too often today in the American Church, we see apostolic ministry proclaimed where there is little fruit to show for it. But, thankfully, that is about to change!

Get Ready...In a Posture of Humility

Without question, we stand at the threshold of massive transition, and our response will determine whether the transition will be smooth or chaotic. We do not have to be rocked by the turbulence of change; rather, if we correctly position ourselves in a posture of genuine humility, motivated to build the Kingdom of God and not our own ministries, we will see an outstanding move of the Spirit of God...and supernatural growth!
Just as in 2 Kings 7:1-20, we have underestimated the provisions of God for our generation. Now is the time to walk in the revealed light. We need not stumble in the darkness of religious ramblings but walk in Kingdom aims and divine purposes (see Ephesians 5:14-18). We will all be surprised by what God has in store for this end-time generation!
These are unusual days of destiny and we must arise to the challenge. God is looking for ordinary saints whose hearts are passionately burning to establish the King in His Kingdom. If we seek intimacy with our King and pray that the eyes of our heart be opened, He will establish our character and use us as anointed leaders in the great harvest ahead!
