Can you SEE the Kingdom of Heaven TODAY?

What does the Kingdom of God look like.  Jesus told us not to follow everyone who said, It's here, or it's there.  That it is invisible.. mostly.

I say mostly because there are scriptural evidences of the ability to SEE the kingdom.  Jesus did say that unless a person was born again he could not SEE the kingdom of God.   So it must not be perceived or seen by ordinary means.  It requires someone tuned into the supernatural.  Someone who has the spiritual bandwidth to perceive it.  “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given"

There are many references to the Kingdom of God. It's not UP THERE in heaven somewhere.  It's right here, near you, sometimes you get a glimpse.  "Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”

So what populates the Kingdom?  First, those who are subjects of the King.  A king cannot have a kingdom without those who hold him up and honor him as King.  “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”  JESUS is our KING and we are his subjects.  "the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one."

There are those who are servants of the King.. not people servants, ministering spirits who do what the King mandates and those who are the Subjects confess.  The angel armies of the Lord.  The ones who you know are always there prepared to act in your behalf.

There is an account in 1 Kings 6 of Elisha and his servant (Probably Gehazi) although his name is not mentioned, just a young man.  They were under threat of attack by The Army of Aram.  The servant was terrified, sure to be killed.  But Elisha asked God to Open his eyes and suddenly the young man saw the army of angels ready to fight for them.  That stopped the fear.  So it is today, if we could open our eyes and see we would be astonished at the things we would see.  We would fear less, be more bold and walk in authority.

Not only are there Ministering angels, but trying to infiltrate the Kingdom of God to neuter the subjects of the king are fallen angels.  Demons.  They are as real as the Angels of the Living God.
They respond to fear and defeat.  They torment.  They can even occupy and oppress a Servant of God.

Then there are Spirits that are hard to discern.  They are manifestation in tangible form of some of the demonic influences that try to invade the Kingdom.  The Kingdom of God is always under attack by the enemy.  He wants to destroy it.   Some of these tangible spirits which you may see from time to time are hate, anger, greed, fear, terror, poverty, lewdness and every work of the flesh you see listed.  "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit"

We can try to fight against them in our own strength and TRY HARDER to be a Good Christian.  That is a losing cause.  Only by discernment, the power of the Holy Ghost and the authority to command those demonic manifestations to leave can we live at peace in the Kingdom.
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
"But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you".

We are a nation, an unseen nation, we are everywhere.  It is the kingdom.  It's as real as Germany, Poland, Iran or the USA.  It has borders but there are invaders.  The difference is, unlike any country, the Kingdom of God is eternal:  "The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever"

Not everyone who claims to be a citizen of the Kingdom is fully alive and awake to the supernatural.  They live on the fringe.  They live without understanding. They live satisfied with a truth of the Kingdom that is 10% of what Jesus intended.  "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable".  “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven"

Sometimes it is because of cares and riches that people are kept away from seeing. Jesus said:
"I'll say it again--it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!"  This in response to the Rich Young righteous in his own eyes ruler who turned and walked away.  Jesus was testing his heart.  His riches still held him and would always hold him.  It wasn't that riches are bad or that everyone is supposed  to sell everything and give to the poor, it is because like Abraham and Issac, God wants to know for sure if you are serious.

I the USA and many developed nations, what little Gospel Truth there is so watered down in order to fit the blinded eyes of "christians" who jump thru hoops, even say a sinners prayer, but never encounter the Kingdom.  The are still on the other side of the eye of the needle.

We should expect to see, expereince, discern, sense, speak out and manifest all the gifts of the Spirit of God and in that way also be able to see what God is doing and what the Kingdom is all about.  That also means sometimes we will be somewhere that is NOT the kingdom and we will know it.

That's another story.  JESUS want's us to be able to SEE the Kingdom of God, He wants us born again and seeing. BUT the devil is busy:
"Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God".  They might be church goers, they might be church leaders, they might be "apostles or prophets" but they are unbelieving believers.  Jesus had them with him, he had to constantly say..   Before He raised Lazarus from the dead he had to say to Martha:
"Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"

Jesus calls us to open our eyes to his Glory.. to the Kingdom and all that it entails.. We are blinded by the light, there is so much more.
