The Soverignty of God is Misunderstood

If God initiated activities on the earth, he would have to take responsibility for its success and the protection of those that live in those activities.

  1. God created man, particularly now as his Body on earth today, to do good things and help Him develop His world as the Kingdom toward the purposes of “on earth as it is in heaven”. If God were to do things in His own sovereignty, there would be no need for man whom God loves.
  2. God loves man and wants to see him develop in faith not wait around for God to tell him what to do.  This includes the end-times expectations.  God’s not doing that.
  3. God will not compete with man. He wants him to develop his gifting and opeate in His anointing.  We have a purpose.  God created us for it.  He enables and will not interfere.
  4. If God were in programs, projects and activity, every success or failure would be blamed on God, which could give people false direction and passivity.  Also why the End Times beliefs are damaging.
  5. God’s willingness to get involved if there were absolute soverinty would be basis for blaming God for everything bad that happens. “Why did God permit Hitler to execute so many Jews?”  Why did God flood New Orleans in Hurricane Katrina where so many died?

The idea that GOD is in control is a flawed theology.
