Spiritual Blindness of the Very Elect

I was sad and asked the Lord why and how good people with good teaching, people who name the name of Jesus, people who are professing Christians, People who in many ways are to be admired, I asked the Lord, HOW can they be so confused, even deceived by a world system bent on seducing them into soft sin. Not condemning sin. Sin of compliance. Laodicean sin.

I wonder at how this is possible. Except that there is a verse in the Bible about this level of deception. These people are educated, respected, experienced, credentialed. And deceived.

They are not Normally Deceived. They are in fact the VERY elect. Jesus said this:

Matthew 24:24, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

Deception will result in spiritual blindness. Saul of Tarsus was a man who was educated, respected, experienced, credentialed. And deceived. Even the VERY elect will understand the blindness of Saul. A blindness that had to be healed before his name became Paul.

We have a lot of Sauls who need to see. VERY elect Sauls.
