While many religious writings make wild assumptions of creation for example the Hindu’s believed the earth was on the back of elephants.  Greeks believed Atlas held the world on his back.  Myths they are.  Yet the bible starts off with, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”   Can we trust the bible and other Creation Myths…  There is NOTHING in the bible that can be said to be false.  Nothing!

Think about it as the list below science is only beginning to uncover the majesty of what God has already created.  Other ancient legends are replete with far out and wild tales that scientifically we know are false.

Having said that some say that the biblical creation story is a myth like the rest.  Well evolution has been proven as a fact hasn’t it… No!  Not even close if you care to look at it objectively.  That is why ID or intelligent design is becoming more and more likely.  I will go one better.  God did it and He made statements in the bible that only recently we are now getting more clarity on.   Enjoy the 101 facts below and for those who want to look at some of the myth’s here is a link for a collection of myths.  Creation Myths from a variety of cultures

November's Prophetic Picture by Praying Medic ·

This note is about the events that have transpired over the last month. I see some prophetic significance in them and I have an obligation to share what I'm seeing. I do not believe these things are a form of judgment upon America or the world. That is - unless you define 'judgment' as the simple consequences of the choices an individual or society makes. The law of sowing and reaping is always working in our lives.

First, I'd like to share a concern I that I have about prophecy in general.

People are getting a revelation of the Father's heart of love, which is something we've needed for a long time. The angry, temperamental model of God that the church has envisioned for centuries is being challenged and a new one is being established that I believe is the real deal. I admire men like Joel Adifon, Craig Adams and Nor'west Prophetic for having the courage to represent God in different way.  A truer way; a way the church needs to experience for themselves.

Having said that, I also see a concerning shift in how we view prophecy. The new revelation of God is being used as an objection to anything prophetically that speaks of difficult times ahead. The reasoning goes something like this: "God's heart is to bless us always, in all things. We've been sent to establish His kingdom, which is continually increasing in scope and influence around the world. The enemy has been defeated. We're here to set up a victorious kingdom. Therefore - anything that speaks of difficulty, tribulation, poverty, famine, or disaster is not of God, because God never wants any of these things to happen to us."

So let me ask a few questions:

If you were a prophet in the US, living in 1927 and received revelation from God that portrayed a stock market collapse, famine, drought and despair for many - how would you deliver such a word to the church? Does your theology even allow you to prophesy such a thing? And if you didn't prophesy what God revealed to you - how can you call yourself an obedient son?

I'm concerned that the new revelation we have about God's heart will handcuff prophets and prevent them from prophesying what God has shown them if it happens to portray difficult times. If we only prophesy peace and safety when in reality hard times are ahead - we become exactly like the false prophets to Israel who prophesied peace just before they were taken captive.

To be sure - many prophets need to get a better revelation of God's heart, which will help them interpret revelation in a better light. But we still have to prophesy what God shows us if we want to be faithful to our King.

Our President
Many Christians were angry and bitter when President Obama was first elected. Over the last 4 years, that bitterness has grown. In the days after his re-election, it's gone off the charts. I've heard it all. I've received private messages from friends sharing prophetic revelation about the president. One group has been shown a change in the president's heart and a radical Jesus encounter during his second term. The other group has been shown a president who tramples the constitutional freedoms we enjoy as he becomes puffed up with pride as the nation falls victim to rioting and civil unrest. Prophecy must be judged. We have an obligation to discern what people are sharing, prophetically. I note that much of this revelation comes to people in the form of dreams and those sharing it are not skilled in dream interpretation. That presents a huge problem in judging what we're hearing and seeing. Before we freak out about the dreams people are sharing, let's discern the source of the dreams and determine if the dreams are speaking about the individual or the nation.

I keep thinking about the kings of Israel and how the pattern of the kings is something like what we see with our presidents. When Israel, as a nation, began turning their hearts away from God, their king would be a man whose heart was not inclined to serve Jehovah. But after a while, calamity would come, the people would repent, turn back to God and their king would be a man who feared the Lord. The king was a man whose spiritual condition was similar to that of the nation. I would argue that the spiritual condition of our president is reflective of the spiritual condition of the people who elected him.

The only way America will ever elect a president who is a spirit-filled man that is zealous for the things of God is if we become that way as a nation. And right now, we aren't. Israel's slide into apostasy was always corrected through times of hardship. And I suspect that we'll go through times of hardship as they did, so that the hearts of the people will be turned back to God. We must always remember that God has a redemptive purpose for everything He does.

Hurricane Sandy
As I watched Hurricane Sandy hit the Northeast coast, I couldn't help but see a prophetic picture taking shape.

Warnings were sent out at least a week in advance about where the storm would make landfall. It was traveling at 15 miles an hour. Evacuation warnings were posted. Citizens were advised to flee to safety. It's not like this storm came suddenly or without warning. But few people heeded the warnings. They decided to stick around. And as the storm approached they began to pray that somehow the hurricane would not impact them. Then (as predicted) the hurricane destroyed property and lives. Many who were lost were those who made a conscious decision to stay. Those who did not heed the warnings were the most vulnerable. They thought they knew better. Things would be OK. Things would work out. They had always survived before and they would again.

But this time things were different.

The aftermath of this storm is tragic. The poor and homeless are much worse off than they were before. A snowstorm came on the heels of Sandy and now they have to live in freezing weather. The elderly, the mentally ill and disabled are either lost or dead. These tragedies hit hardest on the most vulnerable.

The middle class suffered a little, but they had more resources to help them survive. Many were left without power, but some have generators or a network of friends & family to reach out to. Things were not convenient, but they are survivors. They weathered the storm a little better.

The rich felt almost no impact at all. Uptown Manhattan was virtually undisturbed. Donald Trump bragged that his building didn't even sway. Yes, things were a bit less convenient. A bit less clean, but the little people will take care of that.

This storm impoverished the poor, disturbed the middle class and left the wealthy unaffected.

The aftermath is a scene filled with chaos. Lawlessness and looting are rampant. Martial law is in effect in some cities. Gas rationing went into effect yesterday. Power is still out in many places. Those who hoped the government would fix things are surprised at its ineffectiveness. Only private help has really been effective. Wherever neighbors have reached out to help neighbors - there has been civility and safety.

And there's one more thing. Wall Street was shut down by the hurricane for 2 days. When it re-opened, it was because of power provided by backup generators, as most of the city was still without power. The last time Wall Street was shut down for 2 days (due to weather) was in 1888.

I believe this storm was a prophetic picture of a greater storm that is approaching. The kind of things we saw in the wake of Sandy will likely be the kind of things we see on a national and perhaps a global scale. You don't have to be a prophet to see the collapse of Wall Street coming. Bankers, economists and just about everyone with an eye for economics can see the instability in the European economies, the Fed's futile monetary policies, the fiscal cliff we're facing with our budget cuts and the market bubble that's about to burst.

Unfortunately, the warnings that have been issued about the economic storm will be dismissed by most. Suffering that could be averted by preparing for the storm, will be greater than it needs to be.

If you want to do something wise, begin establishing relationships in your community. Reach out to your neighbors and get to know them. When the governemnt is unable to help you - a good friend or neighbor will. That fact is being realized in the wake of Sandy. It's friends and neighbors that give society safety and strength.

If you think I'm happy about all of this, I'm not. I've read posts from people who prophesy doom and gloom with a sense of giddiness because the people they despise are finally being judged by God. Those people don't understand the heart of God and I would advise you to steer clear of anyone who prophesies judgment with a smile on his face. In the last two weeks, nearly all of my dreams have been about meeting with survivalists - also known as "doomsday preppers". I don't say this to frighten you. I say this as your friend and brother. The time to get prepared for the approaching storm is now.

Sandy was a type of the Perfect Storm John Paul Jackson has Prophesied

This morning I was struck by how much like the Perfect Storm prophecy brought by John Paul Jackson a few years ago was like Hurricane Sandy.

It is also not without note that the hurricane and its aftermath is a harbinger of the perfect storm our nation is about to go thru.  This is not just about the re election of Barack Obama, it is about the bad decisions over decades that have led us to this place.  A perfect storm.

Let's consider the days leading up to hurricane sandy. Warnings were made.  People were told this is going to be rough. People were advised to flee to safety.  As it came closer many people prayed that somehow the hurricane would not impact them.  Then as predicted with great fury the hurricane destroyed property and lives.  Many who were lost were those who decided to ride it out.  Those who did not heed the warnings were the most vulnerable. They thought they knew better.  Thinks would be OK.  Things would work out.  They had always survived before. They would again.  Except many did not.  Now they live lives of desperation.

The hurricane destroyed huge swaths of humanity and it's structure.

In the aftermath this scenario is tragic.  The poor and homeless are much worse off.  They had no safety net.  The elderly and infirm are lost, many died.  These tragedies most often harm the most vulnerable among us.

The middle class suffered, but they had some resources   Those left behind may not have power, but they have generators.  Or they have friends to reach out to.  They get by.  Yes it's inconvenient and difficult, but they are survivors.  They have great loss but not enough to cause them to despair.  They are angry about the situation, but they are realistic about it as well.

The rich felt almost no impact at all.  Uptown Manhattan was virtually undisturbed.  Donald Trump bragged his building didn't even sway.  Yes a bit less convenient.  A bit less clean, but the little people will take care of that.

The perfect storm impoverished the poor, disturbed the middle class and the wealthy are unaffected.

Now in the aftermath, there have been a few photo ops by politicians.  The government has been incompetent in doing anything.  Lawlessness and looting is rampant.  Elitist government officials are bungling.  Now nearly two weeks later nothing is happening. Power is still out.  Fuel is non existent in many areas.  The law of the gun is in effect.  People that trust in government to fix things are once again surprised at it's ineffectiveness   Only private help is working.  Neighbors helping neighbors.  There is no other way.  When people attempted to help from afar, Unions and government got in the way.

There are many more parallels  but here is the prophetic warning:

A perfect economic and governmental storm is on the way.  You can see it on the radar.  There was some potential for escape, not reprieve, but escape.  People ignored the warnings.  Now the poorest and most vulnerable will suffer and the rich will get richer.  Just like the aftermath of the Hurricane.

Lawlessness will increase.  The law of the Gun will once again rule.  Only neighbors helping neighbors will work in this climate of fear and deprivation.  Government will fail.  Prayer will help, but it cannot stop the storm people's choices have wrought.

The consequence to those who chose to ignore the warnings has become a curse that in some cases take the lives of those who ignored.  People have chosen to stay in the house they thought was safe.  It will be blown away. The safety they thought was there will prove to be as ineffective as the governmental response to Sandy was.  The choices made as the warnings went out have been largely ignored.  The storm is coming.

The winds are picking up speed.

Jack Hayford: Election Outcome Could Be Prophetic Announcement

My feelings, following the results of the 2012 presidential race, are not predicated on the relative merits or either candidate. They are borne with facts that are true of Americans' lives at this time in the 21st century; some of which are flavored by choices by our seated president's words and actions, but not without difficulties that may be attributed to either of our presidential candidates or their parties. In short, our vulnerabilities and weaknesses as a nation—economically, spiritually, morally or otherwise, have a deeper root than the failures of human management or policy.

It is in the light of that preamble that I make this statement: The re-election of President Obama is yet another landmark of history that reveals the inevitable flow of events which increase in depth and spread when the church mistakes its mission. As one incident, the election outcome holds the portent of being a prophetic announcement of the impending end of the significance of the church in America, unless ...

... Unless a reawakening of Christ's body in America occurs, which heeds the "first of all" priority Paul, by the Holy Spirit (1 Tim. 2:1-2), assigned to the church's ministry of prayer and intercession for leaders, peoples and nations, no administration or political party will be capable of a solution to our nation's essential problems.

... Unless the church becomes more persuaded that the fountainhead of its strength is in living worship—by which we humble ourselves, seeking God's presence (more than it demonstrates our skill at making music)—no degree of programming or growth will be able to regain the place of influence the once-effective voice the church historically has had in the U.S. as "salt," to neutralize the toxic issues existing in the arena of morality, justice and family life.

... Unless the pulpits, sanctuaries and classrooms of the church be once again employed as centerpieces of shaping disciples unto transformation with solid teaching and meaty preaching, holding forth the Word of life, the declining percentage of believers in America will be further reduced. "Church Growth" alone will never be an effective substitute for "people growth"; the formation and equipping of committed followers of Jesus Christ, who bear His Cross and who shine as lights in the world.

... Unless a vanguard of today's American church leadership chooses to take a stand with Israel as the Sovereign God's chosen people (a theological posture rooted in the Word and our nation's history), the effect of out present apathy will advance an already increasing global anti-Semitism, and the brash rise in political scorn manifest today will continue to move our nation closer to the edge of self-destruction by reason of its collective choice to pass judgment against and forsake our support of God's ancient land and people; a choice certain to boomerang cataclysmic judgments upon us via a scenario which may well bring about the finale of our nation's existence (see Zech. 12-14).
 
In summary: the bitter fruit of the 2012 presidential outcome is not the party or person who is taking the White House, but in the disappearing fruitage of the church's inherent, God-given dynamic to affect the spiritual climate of our nation and effect a harvest of the "fruit of righteousness" in a country formerly seen as sufficiently "Christian" to leave a deep enough stamp on the national life to indicate a credible, spiritual presence.

God is saying that this is the year that we Cross Over into our destiny's .This past year has been the year of the "Whirlwind" Many of you were caught up into the Whirlwind these past few months. You have felt like the debris of your past would never stop hitting you as you went in and now it is the time that you are being flung out into the place that you have always needed to be... your destiny.

Alignment is about to take place. Joel's army is arising in the earth. Joel 2:4 The appearance of them [is] as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. At the beginning of the Hebrew year 5773 I saw a humble servant stepping over a threshold in a doorway and as they "crossed over". They became dressed in this beautiful suit of armor. This armor the Lord said to me will be "YOUR OWN" armor. Saul (jealousy, envy) has tried to dress you in his to send you forth, but this armor that you will be clad in is made of all of the lessons that you have learned in the past as you slayed the Lion and the bear in your walk with Him. You will be clad with the armor of an overcomer one that has the knowing that you are an overcomer before you even enter into the promise land... before you ever face the giants of the land.

1Sa 17:38 And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. 1Sa 17:39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved [it]. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved [them]. And David put them off him. We can only truly use what has been proven in our life .It is the engrafted word of God .That which we have been exercised by. Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. These are they who have exercised their five physical senses by the word of God and have proven that the word of God is true in their life!!

This is the time for the Manifest sons of God to arise! Rom 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. The earth is awaiting those that will walk as Jesus walked in the earth speaking to the mountains that are in the way of the Kingdom from coming, healing the sick, raising the dead, bringing deliverance to everyone they come in contact with.

Many have been through the suffering by that I mean we have learned to overcome the dictates of the world, the flesh, and the devil by acting on the word and acting on the promptings of Holy spirit by obedience and through faithfulness to Him. This is who is arising in this hour to go into the Land..It is the time of His power in the Earth! Psa 110:3 Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power.

Yes, the Manifest Sons are arising in the Earth!! Knowing who they are in Him. Knowing that "It was finished before the foundation of the world!! Hebrews 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. They enter into the rest of God in knowing and believing in this finished work. They know that they're nothing in themselves, but that "greater is He that is in them then He that is in the world". 1st John 4:4. They do not care about there insecurities, because they know that He has ".chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; They are humble knowing that it is not them, but Christ in them the hope of glory!! Col.1:27. They know where there power comes from. They know it is at His feet that they possess this power. It all comes from Him!

They also know that it is not there best laid plans, or their programs,or their might,education,or social status. They know in whom they believe.This is the day of the manifest Sons of God, this is the "Day of The Saints" Arise shine for thy light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you!!" Isaiah 60:1.

God says it is time to step across the threshold into that which you have known and have been prepared for. That which David stepped into as king. That which every force of hell has tried to stop you from doing all of these years. Step into the fullness of your destiny. God had prepared you for such a time as this. This is the "Set Time For you to Arise" the Lord is asking you today. Why Not You??!!

Get ready my people it is time to run with the Lion Of the Tribe Of Judah!! It is time for God to Roar out of Zion!!

It is time!!

WORD REGARDING OUR NATION ~ James Arquitt

Yesterday, as I was on the way to some friend's house, I was asking the Lord about the elections and I felt I got a very definite response. I heard, "The outcome of this election is not nearly as important as your response to it." When I heard this I knew the Lord was waiting to see how his people would respond after the election on Tuesday. Regardless of the outcome. I know that most people are focused on who is going to win on Tuesday. I got the definite message that God is not. For one thing He already knows. The fate of our nation will be determined much more by the Christlikeness of God's people and their response on Wednesday and the weeks and months following.

God is looking for what His people will do with the circumstances we find ourselves in the day after the election. We are the ones called out to reign and speak into our nation with love and humility. Salvation does not come from the political process, although God may use it just like He uses everything else. We don't need a Republican agenda, or a Democratic agenda. We need a humility agenda, and a repentance agenda.

Regardless of what laws do or don't get passed in the coming years, what would happen if God's people would humble ourselves and repent for turning away from God, and then from that position of brokenness begin prophesying to our nation about abortion. Abortion would begin to die. It would have to.

Remember the preaching of Jonah. An anointing to bring an entire wicked nation to repentance. That anointing came after humility and repentance on Jonah's part when he returned and began to obey the word of the Lord.

Like Jonah we, the church, have been going the wrong direction. Not really embracing God's heart for our nation. Pride has blinded the church. We are judgmental in the same way Jesus spoke of the man with the log in his eye in Matt 7.

In the same way the fate of an entire nation is in our hands. How will we respond on Wed, Nov 7, 2012, to the circumstances we find ourselves in. "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God..."

Our weapons are so much more powerful than political, military, religious, or even financial weapons. James says our tongues, though they be small, are like the tiny rudder of a giant ship that turns the ship wherever we will. That's power.

We, the church, must use our prophetic utterance to turn this ship of state toward God in humility and repentance. There is no one else to do it. There is no shortage of power with God. He has given us the power. Will we be courageous and obedient?

Draw near to the Lord until you have His heart, then begin to proclaim it and act it out. God has not given up on America. That means we have no right to either.

"A New Well Shall Be Dug by a New Generation"

It's a spiritual principle that I'm teaching you right now about what was dug for us. I'm not speaking to you as an individual – your forefathers, those that prayed for you, that sowed. I'm talking about America, that which was labored for. Many evil humanists have stopped those wells up and said, "We don't want this to happen; we don't want righteousness." If some of them had their own way, they'd shut down every church in this country. Hear what I'm saying. What is ours by inheritance, which our forefathers dug for us, for this nation, that they've tried to stop up and whoever takes occupation says, "It belongs to us; we can stop it up if we want, even if by right it is yours."
"This is not going to happen," says the Spirit of God. "These wells that were given to you, America, by your forefathers – wells of righteousness, wells of liberty – that were given to you and now they are stopping up and saying, 'They may be yours by inheritance, but they're ours because we have rulership and occupation.'" God says, "This will not happen, for a new well shall be dug by a new generation." That's powerful just that alone.
I hope you're hearing me, everybody. God has big plans for this nation and the whole world is looking at America. Don't tell me they're not. The whole world is looking, and they're looking at the economy and they're laughing at us saying, "These people don't know what they're doing." Well, that's changing.
I felt the Spirit come upon me to say this and I think you understand what I'm saying. What did our forefathers do? They dug these wells of salvation and deliverance and righteousness so we could be Christian people, a Christian nation...(Kim reads on how the Lord spoke to Isaac and said to not fear and He would multiply his descendants).
Don't take this lightly, America. He speaks to Isaac and says, "I am going to multiply you, do not fear." Do not fear. God says, "Do not fear."
