Now a video is making the rounds where Benny Hinn is railing against Joel Osteen's comment on Larry King. To be fair, he rails against Oprah too. I get that. His argument is so livid and it seems to be over the top. If you want to hear him go on about all this you can watch the video:
There is something about all this that sounds strange to my ears. If Jesus were standing in the place of Benny Hinn would he rail publicly against Joel Osteen like this? Or would he follow his own admonitions of Matthew 18:

His public outrage is driven by his private pain. His offended heart. She had been out of the house for a while. According to the news release, since the end of January.
This is why when this was all announced I posted that when this happens in a ministry, he or she must step aside to heal and resolve whatever the issues are. Time needs to be invoked for healing. I suggested that Benny Hinn should stop all campaigns now. He will become a negative 1 Corinthians 13 example.
Pain causes horrible reactions in people. Benny Hinn is people. He must stop until he heals.
The Hubris the devil uses is "Your ministry is too important for you to step back. People are dependent on you. There is too much to lose. You won't lose anyone of your followers. God is counting on you."
That is the voice of satan.
Benny Hinn must stop now. I wish I could get this message to him. It's essential before he wounds the whole body of Christ in The USA.

If I could leave this alone I would. But this video has gone viral on the Christian internet like facebook. If someone doesn't stand up and oppose this damage, there will be HELL to pay. People's souls are at stake. I must warn people that this is an aberration. I don't think Benny Hinn is a bad guy. He's just hurting and hurting people hurt people.
So sad.But that was my first thought that he was operating out of his hurts....
Gene....the context of Benny's message is about those who preach another gospel. I agree with Benny that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to salvation.
You are out of line with assuming this has anything to do with the divorce filing. It might be wise to keep your own personal opinion out of it and stick with the context of the message.
I agree with Benny too. It's the tone and intensity that is the problem. The condemnation. The outright calling someone out. Here's the problem. He is doing this in the midst of a Ministry who's profile is high enough that it can cause damage. As several of the other things happening in the past few years have. We don't need the secularists to show us up, we do it ourselves.
Some of this IS my personal opinion I have decided. I was reproved earlier and may have to rethink this. I also am sensitive to this area and believe there needs to be a call to repentance and order. If not me, who? or you? Or who?
In the context of what Osteen said on that interview, Benny took it out of context.
I'm not defending Osteen. I am defending the Body of Christ and what Benny did didn't help.
And, I stand by the premise that this outrage, no matter how deeply felt comes from his personal pain.
He needs to back off for a while.
well he is mentioning names of people instead of just giving the message. did qhe also forget touch not my anointed. yes as prophet you need to send him a letter to confront, spirit of the prophets are subject to the prophets. but go to him in private, or you are exposinf him here publicly like he is doing. i wish i could speak to him about joel osteen. joel has the gift of encouragement thats why he talks like that..its his gifting, he is not evangelitical like benny, different calling prophetic expressions.
yes send him a prophet letter on it. he wrote me back once, then its up to God from then on you released it. be bold call say you are the prophet of rhe lord and you need to fax or send a letter to him and how can it get there.
I have contacted him thru his people. I suspect he has seen this and some other things I have said. I expect no response. Just reaction.
Benny was actually talking about Billy Graham, not Osteen.
IF that were true, and I'm not convinced it is, (Billy not Joel), that's even worse.

if ypu left a message with him then it is done released inless there is another word for him.
if you ever talked to him in person ypu would know what a heart for evangelism he really has, he is a great evangelist wise soul winner that God uses for his purposes, he is still a man thougj and if he is talking jive out there he needs to be confronted personally on it and get right for sure, reme@ber touch not my anointed, he is still a wonderful evangelist but we are accountable for our words, why is everybody worried about his bennys business? have any of you ever said something uncool? just wondering.
