Why and When I will stop Prophesying, Stop Speakig in Tounges and Give Up Trying to Accumulate Knowledge

The Bible is quite clear. Paul explains it in 1 Corinthians 13. He says that there will come a day when being a Prophet will be redundant. There will be a day when Speaking in Tongues will be unnecessary and not needed. There will be a day when seeking knowledge will be useless. People with PhD's will be just as ignorant or wise as everyone else.

How do I know?

I read it in His book.

1 Corinthians 13
As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.

So when is the perfect come? More important, WHO is the Perfect?

Has the perfect come already? OK, let's see. Prophecy is still going on, Tongues are being spoken in, and to my current understanding, Knowledge is still not passed away. Seems like people are still seeking it. Every day.

The whole bad interpretation that the Perfect is the Bible (as good as it is) is just straining at gnats to make a bad theological conclusion.

I am looking forward to the day when I can stop worrying about hearing from God in the Spirit and hear from him face to face.

I mourn for our siblings who strain at the gnats, denied this additional helping on the table by our common enemy :-(
