THE SECRETS OF THE LORD by David Wilkerson

Matthew tells us Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables: “All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world” (Matthew 13:34–35).

To many Christians today, the parables sound very simple. Yet, according to Christ, each parable holds an incredible secret. There’s a hidden, kingdom truth in every parable Jesus told. And that truth is discovered only by those who diligently seek for it.

Many believers skim over the parables quickly. They think they see an obvious lesson and quickly move on. Or, they dismiss a parable’s meaning as not applying to them

The Bible states clearly there are secrets of the Lord: “His secret is with the righteous” (Proverbs 3:32). These secrets have been unknown from the foundation of the world, but Matthew tells us they’re buried in Jesus’ parables. These hidden truths have power to truly set Christians free. Yet few are willing to pay the high cost of discovering them.

Consider with me one of the Lord’s parables.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it” (Matthew 13:45–46). Who is the merchant in this parable? The Greek root here explains him as a traveling wholesale trader. This merchant was also an assayer, or tester. In other words, he made his living by evaluating costly pearls for their quality and worth.

We know that Jesus is the pearl of great price that the merchant finds. He’s very costly, of incalculable value, because the merchant sells all his other possessions to gain him. I believe we find the meaning of the pearl in God’s eternal purposes. Obviously, the pearl belonged to the Father. He possessed Christ just as any father possesses his own son. Indeed, Jesus is the
Father’s most valued and treasured possession. Only one thing would cause the Father to give up this priceless pearl. He did it out of love.

Christ is the treasure chest in the field. And in him, I’ve found all that I’ll ever need. No more trying to find purpose in ministry. No more looking for fulfillment in family or friends. No more needing to build something for God, or to be a success, or to feel useful. No more keeping up with the crowd, or trying to prove something. No more searching for ways to please people. No
more trying to think or reason my way out of difficulties.

I’ve found what I’m looking for. My treasure, my pearl, is Christ. And all that the Owner asks of me is, “David, I love you. Let me adopt you. I’ve already signed the papers with my own Son’s blood. You’re now a joint heir with him of everything I possess.”

What a bargain. I give up my filthy rags of self-reliance and good works. I lay aside my worn-out shoes of striving. I leave behind my sleepless nights on the streets of doubt and fear. And in return, I get adopted by a King. This is what happens when you seek the pearl, the treasure, till you find him. Jesus offers you everything he is. He brings you joy, peace, purpose, holiness. And he becomes your everything—your waking, your sleeping, your morning, afternoon and evening.

Before HIS Time - and maybe yours?

I knew I was a Prophet for years before it became public. People just automatically began calling me Prophet Gene. Before I even said the word.

Not because I had a visit from heaven. But because I found myself constantly in that place. In ministry I would operate from that position. In preaching I would gravitate towards that subject.
Isaiah. Ezekiel. Daniel. Jeremiah.

Then the Holy Ghost downloads started. Hands were laid on for release.

Yet I stayed under the radar. I tried hard not to promote the office God had called me into.

BECAUSE it was not yet my time. More important not yet HIS time.

Many ministers are derailed because they try to step up and step out before their time.

Jesus, the Christ, God as Man, King of Kings understood this.

"Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied. "My time has not yet come." John 2:4

This statement at the Wedding at Cana. Jesus had the ability. He knew who he was. He could do whatever he decided to do. YET...My time is not yet come.

Too many ministers derail...decommission...deter the call of God on their lives by trying to step out before release comes.

It came for me in the basement of a dingy church in a wet cold winter's night when a Prophet laid hands on me some years ago and spoke release. Nothing has been the same since.

Don't get ahead of God. It's not about education. It's not about preparation, although you must be prepared. It's about ascension.

That's the gift a prophet is.

Stay in the secret place UNTIL.....Your time.

Life is all about lessons from God.

In February of 2009 I shared with the group what God had been showing me about coming events. I was immediately attacked. While the events I predicted are still coming to pass it has taken longer than I anticipated at that time. I anticipated a matter of months but it has been 2 years. This delay is due to the fact that God prefers mercy over judgment.

What I have learned is not to take rejection of prophetic words personally. People who reject what I say as a prophet are rejecting God. They are His words, not mine.

Having said this, here is another word I received a few weeks later in March of 2009. I have not changed a word.

God has chosen and raised up Barack Obama to accomplish His purpose on earth. Everything Barack Obama, as President of the United States, has done, is doing and will do is designed to accomplish God's purpose. This purpose is to destroy the United States of America as we know it. This is because the American way of life is anti-Christ and anti-God. The American way of life is all about pleasing self by serving money. It has become a way of idolatry idolized by the rest of the world. It deserves to be destroyed. It's destruction precedes the coming of a time of great pressure in which everyone will be forced to choose between man's way and God's way."

I will give you eyes to see into the enemy's camp just as I had shown Gideon. I will reveal his distorted tactics and agenda to you. When you recognize the plans of the adversary, I will then give you discernment and the strategy to dismantle his plans. I will reveal secrets to you in your times of intercession. Your eyes will be open to see through the darkness that seems to prevail. Do not dismay when you see things go awry, but know that I am with you and My plans an purposes will surely come to pass for you says the Lord.

And so it was, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, that he worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel, and said, "Arise, for the Lord has delivered the camp of Midian into your hand."

And Elisha prayed, and said, "Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain

was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Revelation 4:1

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking to me saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."

What Happens When the Money's All Gone? by Robert Blackburn

I'm already asking myself why I didn't leave this alone. I can't. We are so often naive. We've lived so long in abundance and well being, rocked to sleep by our successes and assured that we are the greatest and most powerful people on the planet. We're so busy focusing on a one world government, the anti-Christ, world events etc. that we are temporarily distracted by the reality that one day we could walk to the bank to withdraw funds or do our blessed on-line banking and there are simply no funds available, nothing.

We have lost all sense of monetary value and all common sense. Even the most unlearned of us know that you cannot continue to borrow and charge, you cannot forever spend more than you take in. Please, do not throw this Republican versus Democrat ideas on me and these distracting arguments on who has the best idea about our financial woes. Those in our leadership who are screaming the loudest just happen to be some of the richest people in the country. They are multi-millionaires and even billionaires and they fully intend on getting richer and fatter at our expense, no matter what they hawk. We are past that, way past that. We are foolish and unlearned and terribly in the dark about the money. Those who control it, manipulate it, float it, fluctuate it and own it smile gleefully as they consolidate, rake-in and buy up the world.

I am visiting a country where the currency once collapsed, when it took a wheel-barrow load of it to buy a loaf of bread. They are not as at ease as we are, they know the signs and they know just how precarious things really are even though at the moment their money is worth much more than ours. Think of that. Many of us do not even know that. Recently, our entire financial system almost collapsed and we just took that in stride as if it was just another day at the mill. I remember stopping abruptly one day and saying out loud, "this country's been robbed!" For the life of me, I kept seeing on a certain news channel where a printing press was printing money, and they kept showing this over and over. I finally asked someone, "why are they doing that, what does that mean." Subtle programming, the like of which has been occurring a long time now. Keep them watching A.I., send them more and more credit card applications, buy, buy, buy until you owe your soul to Slewfoot himself. Make it okay to live in debt the rest of your life, work until you literally drop dead and never, never pay off what you owe. Get rich quick, have everything you want now, not waiting until you earn it or deserve it. Having a good credit report became more important than having a good name or good character.

And because it did not all fall down then, we tucked in our belts, took a deep breath, blamed it all on the sitting president and said we'd wise up. Some of us did wise up but some of us lost everything, our house, our car, our jobs, our credit and those who didn't now hold their breath that their jobs don't fail tomorrow. Halt. A loaf of the good bread where I live now costs over four dollars and it's still going up. When you want to go on a trip, you must now inform your cc holder of when you are leaving and when you are coming back. Iris scans, facial scans, codes and more codes on Allies. And now I become one of those 'conspiracy theorists' they like to laugh and joke about, wacky doomsday person.

Apostolics, Pentecostals, Christians of all kinds, whatever you call yourself, listen to this. There is indeed a conspiracy going on in this world and we have known about it ever since we were old enough to read and hear scripture. We certainly know who is behind it, when it started and how it is going to end. God made sure we knew. We also know he was defeated by a Man hanging wide who went to hell itself and took away the keys and shouted loudly, "Give me back that which does not belong to you!" Hear me in the fear of God, the Holy Temple has not been rebuilt, the Gospel obviously has not been preached to the whole world and some of the Oil may have leaked out of our lamps.

We once sung and cited openly about remembering just where our treasure really is, that this world is truly not our home but we are just passing through. I guess it was easier back then when we didn't have much treasure to boast about. No fine cars or parsonages, no elaborate buildings or money in the bank. My God, being a preacher or pastor became a way to line our pockets and even become wealthy beyond our dreams. And I see a pair of dusty sandals.

So. What are we going to do about it. There's nothing we can do about it. The wheels are already set in motion. The day is far spent. We will help each other, it will be a matter of survival. This prosperity gospel craze has about run its course. When the money stops pouring in, those ministries will collapse, they have no real foundation. There may come a time when all we have left is the Gifts of the Spirit. I see Stephen smiling like an angel as the stones railed down upon him and his life slipped away. I see Paul standing up, brushing off his clothes when he was left for dead. I see Elijah running at the sound of an abundance of rain. And I see us, at a crossroads, standing on the edge, hearts beating wildly as we pull ourselves together for that one last leap of faith, the one some of us have watched and waited for so long.

Money is power. And the best way to usurp power is to control the money. Not many are interested in the way the world is being divided up into sections to be controlled by a select group. These people are already so powerful that they no longer care if we know about them, they are smug in believing there is nothing we can do about it anyway. Ask yourself how many were really held accountable and punished for the last widespread corruption and financial debacle and if nothing changes, nothing changes. Passing your hand over the scanner at the grocery may not be so far away. A cashless society is a goal being set even now. It is preferred and encouraged that we do everything on the computer, all done with the stroke of a finger. All of these wars are about money, they always have been. I cringe when I see pictures of extremely poor countries that don't even have clean drinking water but these poorly dressed men have expensive rifles and machine guns strung over their shoulders. They can't buy food but they have modern weapons and I don't have to ask anymore where they got these things. We free people sold it to their leaders or even gave them these in exchange for their natural resources. Today, there is almost nothing you cannot do with enough money. Our leaders are bought, our vote is bought, our regulatory agencies and inspectors of every kind are bought. And if one can control the geld then you can control all of them also. It's really already done.

It's not the money really. It's the way we've come to love it, making money and things more important than Him, idols if you please. And He doesn't like it. It's a world thing now and we are becoming a smaller player, stretched too far, owing our souls to those who do not have our best interest at heart and greedy to the extreme. Bigger barns for everybody.

The Church has to bow out of this and do it now. What happens and the speed at which it occurs depends on us. The longer we wait the more apathetic we become. The terrible wrath which God fully intends to pour out upon this world was not intended for us. However, the longer we argue and debate the return of full Apostolic power and squash the operation of true divine, scriptural leadership, the more we will taste and see these dark clouds and the troubles and disasters we are seeing and experiencing all around us. God will not rescue us when He has already given us the tools to rescue ourselves. The Holy Ghost fell and signs and wonders were done among us when we were poor as church mice. A line is being drawn. We are not to live in fear, that's an absolute fact, but we will if we do not have a firm grip on that supernatural power we say we have and operate and manifest it as it was fully intended. I will close by saying this. I don't recall people going hungry when miracles were being performed. Two fish and a little bread were multiplied, oil in the barrel never ran out and when the money's all gone, we know a man who owns the cattle on a thousand hills! But, we must do our part. The world is depending on us. Isn't that what we once taught. Let those who scoff and mock and put there positions, their influence and control issues ahead of God and his people, let them do whatever they want. But there is a remnant, those who can never forget, and I want to be among them. I simply must be! Let the truly called arise, those who were appointed for this hour, speak with the power of Heaven behind you. This beginning of sorrows can become the beginning of the greatest move of the Spirit this planet has ever known. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!

Are we like the Sons of Thunder - we really DON'T understand the Kingdom of GOD?

Stories of Persecution around the world stirred in me this morning. People talk about the Kingdom. The Glory. The Rush. I love it too. Yet, there seems to be some precedent for this misunderstanding of what and how the Kingdom comes.

The misunderstanding has been around a while.

Salome, Wife of Zebedee, Mother of the Disciples James and John (sons of thunder) came to Jesus Matthew 20:20-28

She asked him to set her sons up in the Kingdom. She didn't understand the situation.

She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”

Matthew 20: ²² “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?”

“We can,” they answered.

²³ Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.”

And they did...as martyrs.

I don't think we really get it. In the narrative of the same event in the book of Mark 10:35-45 ...it's clear what we are in the Kingdom.... Servants.

⁴² Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. ⁴³ Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, ⁴⁴ and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. ⁴⁵ For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Do we really grasp the Kingdom mandate? Servants. Martyrdom. Difficulty. No earthly authority?

Are we really ready to be Baptized as Jesus described?

Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, ⁴⁰ but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

I am painfully aware as a prophet how unprepared we are in the Church in the western world to endure and have victory as these days unfold.

Unless we as Leaders begin to prepare the people we will have their blood on our hands as they fall away.

Shepherds......The call goes out. The Kingdom of God is at hand...but it will come without observation. It is not yet. Luke 17

²⁰ Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, ²¹ nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”^[c]

²² Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. ²³ People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them. ²⁴ For the Son of Man in his day^[d] will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. ²⁵ But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

²⁶ “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. ²⁷ People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

²⁸ “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. ²⁹ But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

³⁰ “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. ³¹ On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. ³² Remember Lot’s wife! ³³ Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it. ³⁴ I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. ³⁵ Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” ^{[36] [e]}

³⁷ “Where, Lord?” they asked.

He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”

What did Jesus MEAN by that last line?

Is that about today?

Better Than Gold?

Everyone in the markets is terrified. The Dollar is done. The Euro is collapsing. The Yen is debt ridden from the earthquake. The Yuan is a communist controlled currency. There is only ONE safe haven. GOLD.

Right?

Not if I read my Bible right.

Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time. Daniel 11:35

In the coming troubles there will only be ONE currency that matters...Faith in God. It's a substance. It carries Hope. It pleases Him when we have it. And He responds to it with provision.

Those who bow down to the idol of gold will think they are safe. But they are in bondage. Faith must stand.

Daniel 3:4 "This is what you are commanded to do, O peoples, nations and men of every language:⁵ As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes and all kinds of music, you must fall down and worship the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. ⁶ Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace."

That is the threat of the day... bow or burn.

Yet those who trust in their money, trust in gold will find it useless as the fall comes.

Isaiah 13:17 Behold, I am going to stir up the Medes against them,

Who will not value silver or take pleasure in gold.

18And their bows will mow down the young men,
They will not even have compassion on the fruit of the womb,
Nor will their eye pity children.

In the end you can't eat gold and silver. It won't protect you. Only your Father in Heaven, the Lord of all the Armies can.

They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing. Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the LORD's wrath. They will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin. Ezekiel 7:19

Your silver and gold will not save you on that day of the LORD's anger. For the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy. He will make a terrifying end of all the people on earth. Zephaniah 1:18

It was true then...it's true now. Those who trust in horses and chariots have false trust. Decide this day who you will trust. Who you will serve. Who you will bow to. Satan has no new schemes, just old ones polished up...like silver.
