A Trinity of Generations

God always has three generations of His people on the earth:

*The Young...  Birth to Adulthood in late Twenties

*The Adult...  Thirty Somethings to Sixty Somethings

*The Elder... Seventies to eternity

In a way it's the proverbial three leggeed stool.  It's a type of the trinity.  It's a perfect triangle.

I am becoming more and more aware of this dynamic.  Where does the Church spend much of it's energy?  As I enter the last phase, I consider what this means.

Each of these has something to give and has needs. 

I don't have more...except to say, maybe we need to value each of these as they are... supportive legs of a stool.  If one is missing the stool collapses.  When a fellowship begins to collapse... a leg is missing.
